This document provides guidelines for a psychology project presentation. Students will choose a topic to teach their classmates about in a presentation using PowerPoint, Prezi, a scrapbook, video, or poster. The presentation should have three sections: an introduction with background on the topic and answers to level 1 questions, an analysis section answering a level 2 question using evidence from studies, and an application section including a level 3 application like a video or story. A bibliography citing all sources in APA format is also required.

2. Overview
 You will be creating a presentation that will teach your
classmates about your choice project topic.
 Projects should be able to teach with needing additional
explanation.
 Three Sections: Introduction/Background, Analysis, and
Application.
 PowerPoint, Prezi, Scrap Book/Diary, Video, Poster
(Trifold).

3. Element 1: Introduction
 Introduce your classmates to the topic.
 Answer Level 1 Questions that are essential to
understanding the topic.
 Provide images, videos, or examples that will help your
classmates understand the basics of your topic.

4. Element 2: Analysis
 Clearly identify the your Level 2 question.
 Provide your answer to your Level 2 question using
evidence and references from studies.
 May require multiple slides of pages. Should not simply
be an essay posted. Hit the key points and present your
information in an effective manner.
 EXAMPLE: One slide explaining each type of treatment, a
slide that includes a chart comparing the strengths and
limitations of each, and a conclusion slide.

5. Element 3: Application
 Include your Level 3 application.
 Video clip, awareness pamphlet, poem, short
story, song, etc.
 Should be interesting and help your classmates better
understand your topic.
 Note: You do not need to explain studies in depth, but
reference them when necessary.

6. Bibliography
 Create a bibliography with citations to each source you
used.
 Use APA formatting.
