Promotional methods are different ways in which I can promote my magazine both in a traditional
and modern way. Planning a promotional campaign for my magazine is essential as I want people
to know my magazine and what it is about. The dream and goal of every music magazine is to
become big as “Billboard”, “mojo” and many others, and that’s my dream as well. If the promotional
methods are the right ones, meaning that they will reach my target audience and persuade people
to buy my magazine then it will eventually become successful.
Firstly I will need to concentrate on my target audience and my main concepts of my magazine will
be to inspire, entertain, influence and educate . Remixed magazine searches to expand in developed
countries as is an expensive magazine , also it will need to acquire a local partner which will be able
to give financial strength for the magazine to be able to globally expand . Some of the most popular
promotional methods would be by having GIVEAWAYS , this will make my target audience happy and
entertained and they will definitely will want to buy my magazine if they know that they will get
something back from the money they’ve spent. Also my magazine offers a subscription service, this
is also very effective as this would mean that they will receive a discount when buying my magazine
and as my target audience makes up mostly young people they will be thrilled to have the
opportunity to save some money. Some other basic promotional methods would be to have leaflets
of my magazine in music stores, such as HMV, or big shopping centers e.g. Westfield's, Selfridges;
furthermore my magazine could be a sponsor in festivals and concerts and this will reach a lot of my
target audience.
PROMOTIONAL METHODS
The other side of the promotional campaign will be by using NEW MEDIA, this is everything that will be
done by using the internet and social media. Firstly my magazine will have it’s own website , here people
can access my magazine by creating their own personal account and by subscribing directly online.
Social media now at days is one of the most important platforms, everyone has or at least has heard of
social media , it’s where everyone communicates with each other , shares opinions , finds out new
interests and more. My magazine will appears on social networks such as twitter, Instagram, Facebook,
snapchat and YouTube. Here is where my magazine will reach the majority of its target audience. Twitter
will be used to get opinions and responses from individuals and use it to find out what are the hot music
topics and be part of them; Facebook will be use to live seam with different artists, post pictures and
videos behind the scene, Instagram will be used to have a more professional profile where things such
as behind the scenes pictures, photoshoots, short videos will be posted and to get responses from my
audience ;lastly snapchat will be used to post stories of what's happening once again behind the scenes
, artists will take over the snapchat stories, my audience will be abet to hear sneak peeks of unreleased
music and be entertained by the funny snapchat team. YouTube will be used to upload videos of
photoshoots, interviews with different artists and singers, and exciting news. Lastly my magazine will
have it’s own app where if they pay a monthly cost of £4,99 they can get a digital copy of the magazine
on their phones and tablets, access to near seen before videos and the app will have a music streaming
service where it will work like Spotify and Apple music , the only thing that differs is the cheaper cost for
bigger content.

If the promotional methods are the right ones, meaning that they will reach my target audience and persuade people to buy my magazine then it will eventually become successful. Firstly I will need to concentrate on my target audience and my main concepts of my magazine will be to inspire, entertain, influence and educate . Remixed magazine searches to expand in developed countries as is an expensive magazine , also it will need to acquire a local partner which will be able to give financial strength for the magazine to be able to globally expand . Some of the most popular promotional methods would be by having GIVEAWAYS , this will make my target audience happy and entertained and they will definitely will want to buy my magazine if they know that they will get something back from the money they’ve spent. Also my magazine offers a subscription service, this is also very effective as this would mean that they will receive a discount when buying my magazine and as my target audience makes up mostly young people they will be thrilled to have the opportunity to save some money. Some other basic promotional methods would be to have leaflets of my magazine in music stores, such as HMV, or big shopping centers e.g. Westfield's, Selfridges; furthermore my magazine could be a sponsor in festivals and concerts and this will reach a lot of my target audience. Firstly my magazine will have it’s own website , here people can access my magazine by creating their own personal account and by subscribing directly online. Social media now at days is one of the most important platforms, everyone has or at least has heard of social media , it’s where everyone communicates with each other , shares opinions , finds out new interests and more. My magazine will appears on social networks such as twitter, Instagram, Facebook, snapchat and YouTube. Here is where my magazine will reach the majority of its target audience. Twitter will be used to get opinions and responses from individuals and use it to find out what are the hot music topics and be part of them; Facebook will be use to live seam with different artists, post pictures and videos behind the scene, Instagram will be used to have a more professional profile where things such as behind the scenes pictures, photoshoots, short videos will be posted and to get responses from my audience ;lastly snapchat will be used to post stories of what's happening once again behind the scenes , artists will take over the snapchat stories, my audience will be abet to hear sneak peeks of unreleased music and be entertained by the funny snapchat team. YouTube will be used to upload videos of photoshoots, interviews with different artists and singers, and exciting news. Lastly my magazine will have it’s own app where if they pay a monthly cost of £4,99 they can get a digital copy of the magazine on their phones and tablets, access to near seen before videos and the app will have a music streaming service where it will work like Spotify and Apple music , the only thing that differs is the cheaper cost for bigger content.
