3. PREPERATION
• To decide what film to use we looked at some swedes from YouTube
and took inspiration from them.
• Our favourites were a High School Musical swede as they picked out
the most well-known song from the film and used that to create a
humorous version of it.
• And our second favourite was a Mean Girls swede as they made it
look just like the film but also adding extra scenes which made it
more funnier.
• These two films were our choices but we narrowed it down to High
School Musical as we both know the film well and thought it would
be fun to create.
4. PREPERATION CONTINUED…
• In our swede we used the first song of the film as it is one most well-
known songs people have heard off, we then chose to make up a
scene to use after so the swede would not only be us miming songs.
• We chose to use the basketball scene as the film emphasises the
team in the first film, and we then decided to include another song
from the film which is not as well-known.
• Finally, the last song we used is also at the end of the real film and we
thought it would be the only way to end our swede.
5. PREPERATION CONTINUED…
• The people in our film represented a character from the film:
Melissa : Troy
Alessia : Sharpay
Rana : Gabriella
Hakim : Chad
David : Ryan
• We did not use any props in the swede.
6. PRODUCTION
• To create the film we used a camera and tripod and set it up in places
around the school we thought would look suitable.
• To produce the swede we used different areas around the school, we
mainly used the corridors but also used the stairs in which scenes we
thought would look best filmed there.
• We chose to have a variety of songs from the film and play them from
our phone into the camera while filming, we chose to do this as it
would have been easier than having to edit our miming in time with
the music.
7. EDITING
• While editing the swede, we deleted the scenes we did not want to use
however we decided to keep the bloopers in to make it more entertaining.
• We also added effects onto different scenes so it did not look the same all
the way through. As well as this we added some text to make it different
from the film and to also add some humour.
• We added sound effects we thought best suited the scenes, for example
the ‘booing’ and also some extra noises used in the bloopers like the ‘door
creeks’ and ‘monkey noises’.
• We made the bloopers faster and some scenes slower so the swede did not
go on for too long and also make it different from other swedes we’ve
seen.
