INTRODUCTION
ICT project management plays a key
role in administration of projects in
organization today. Various studies have been
conducted on the ICT project management to ensure
that projects are being conducted accordingly and
services are delivered respectively inline with the
progress of information technology.
ICT project management require
new management method which is
more coordination of:
• Persons
• Capital
• Objects
• Rapid Information transfer
• Real time information
• Strong flexibility
• Make decision rapidly
• Process of project implementation quickly.

project activities to meet project
requirements
• It is the discipline of planning, organizing,
securing, managing, leading ad controlling
resources to achieve specific goals

Knowledge Areas
• Knowledge areas describe the key competencies that
project managers must develop
• Four Core Knowledge areas lead to specific project
objectives (scope, time, cost and quality)
• Four Facilitating Knowledge Areas are the means through
which the project objectives are achieved (human
resources, communication, risk and procurement
management)
• One knowledge Area (project integration management)
affects and is affected by all of the other knowledge areas

There are several ways to define project success:
• The project met scope, time and cost goals
• The project satisfied the customer/sponsor
• The result of the project met its main
objective such as making or saving a certain
amount of money providing good return on
investment or simply making the sponsor
