Treatment Plan
Constructing a treatment and service plan for a client involves various components. Prior to starting a
treatment plan the professional should carry out a client evaluation. The evaluation should determine
the basis of the difficulty or issues and assess the back ground of the client. After the completion of
the evaluation, a professional can start constructing an agreement to fulfill the needs of the client. The
treatment plan should include goals that relate to the difficulties and issues the client is experiencing,
this assessment will discuss the components of Mr. McCunes personalized treatment program.

Economic Criticism Of Robinson Crusoe
CRUSOE S QUEST FOR FORTUNE In Daniel Defoe s novel Robinson Crusoe the title character,
Crusoe, left his country due to economic motives. Ian Watt has noted in his essay named Robinson
Crusoe as a Myth that Crusoe observes nature, not with the eyes of a pantheistic primitive, but with
the calculating gaze of a colonial capitalism; wherever he looks he sees acres that cry out for
improvement, and as he settles down to the task he glows...with...purposive possession. Robinson
Crusoe subjugated the island with the drive of Western European nations and exploited it with the
formation of cultural hierarchy. I agree with Crusoe and his labors to commodify and take possession
of his island because he used all relationships for his own benefit, ending convinced of his own
superiority. In the beginning, Crusoe s desire for money drove him to go on a voyage to London.
During this voyage, his ship was captured by a Turkish pirate, and Crusoe ended up enslaved on a
Moorish port named Salle (Defoe 12). After two years of being held in captivity, Crusoe says I
meditated nothing but escape, and what method to take effect (Defoe 13). He relied on his aptitude to
help him through his escape, and since nothing presented itself, he ended up putting it into practice
when he was sent to go fishing with a Moor named Ismael and a young boy named Xury. He brought
up to the Moor s attention that they were not going to sustain themselves with the patron s bread so,
then he brought biscuits and fresh water into the boat. Soon, after that he tricked the moor by saying
our patron s gun are on board the boat, can you not get a little powder...it maybe we kill some
alcamies for ourselves, for I know he keeps the gunner s in the ship (Defoe 15). Crusoe s ability to
play tricks on Ismael clearly connects to his gaze of a colonial capitalist. Also, when Crusoe, Ismael,
and Xury were fishing and a fish got caught on his hook he didn t pull them. Then, suggested to the
moor that they should go deeper into the sea to catch more fishes in order to serve the patron s wishes
(Defoe 16). Then, the moor agreed and Crusoe s strong determination to escape urged him to run the
boat further out into the sea. When he was giving the boy the

Head Coach Case Analysis Essay
1. Based on the preceding description, the key personality traits that the head coach possesses is
dominance and affiliation. The head coach displays dominance by the way she demonstrates her
power over the assistant coach and how she acts during disagreements. The head coach is the type of
person in a conversation to speak over everyone to get her point across while also being assertive in
her responses. Her assertiveness could come off to others as proud and authoritative. The head coach
could also be power hungry because she is the head coach so she may feel that what she says goes.

assistant coach to be able to coach when they can t be in attendance, coach alongside them, and be
knowledgeable of the sport. The assistant coach expects the head coach to be knowledgeable of the

Reverend Dimmesdale Quotes
Nathaniel Hawthorne s The Scarlet Letter provides a window into the puritanical mind through his
character Reverend Dimmesdale. Reverend Dimmesdale comes to understand that one s relationship
with God supersedes any other relationship one has, whether it s with one s beloved, one s children, or
one s social circle. He expresses it publicly on the scaffold in a dramatic sequence in a passage in
chapter 23. Throughout the story Dimmesdale is supposed to be an example of upright godly behavior
but he s lying everyday, all the time, in every relationship because he had an affair with Hester. While
adultery was illegal, it was also against one of God s Ten Commandments. Dimmesdale tells the
people while they ve always seen Hester s sign of sin, they never knew about his own. Yet, God s eye
beheld it! The angels were forever pointing at it! The devil knew it well and fretted it continually with
the touch of his burning finger! (Page number). Dimmesdale knows that God s judgement is greater
than any judgement of men. Dimmesdale states that Hester s scarlet letter is but the shadow of what he

Hester asked him if after all their turmoil they ll share eternity together. Dimmesdale responds The
law we broke! The sin here so awfully revealed! Let these be alone in thy thoughts. (Page number).
Dimmesdale is reminding Hester of the gravity of breaking God s commandment. Through
committing adultery they risked eternal damnation and the impossibility of living eternally with God.
When we forgot our God, when we violated our reverence for each for the other s soul, it was
thenceforth vain to hope that we could meet hereafter. (Page number). Dimmesdale had almost been
lost forever but now praises God s name and his last words are Praised be his name! His will be done!

Essay about Pride and Prejudice
Elizabeth and Juliet both reject their parents choice of husband. How are strong feeling presented by
the writers in these extracts? In Act 3 Scene 5 strong feelings are portrayed through out the scene. One
example of this is at the start of the scene Juliet shows strong feelings of grief towards Romeo s
departure. Yet let me weep for such a feeling loss. This shows that she misses Romeo although he has
only just left. The word loss gives off the impressing Juliet feels she will never see Romeo again and
that he is no longer hers. Another point in the scene her mood changes and she becomes very upset
and angry at the fact her parents expect her to marry Paris. Juliet takes her mothers line The County

Her maturity is made clear directly after her wedding night when she partakes in her first sexual
experience. Another point in Juliet s maturation is when she is willing to break away from The Nurse
after she says I think it best you married the County. This shows The Nurse is quite selfish and doesn t
care for Juliet s feelings or that she is already married to Romeo. The phrase I think emphasizes the
fact she only cares about her opinion. Having a nurse is a mark of childhood; by abandoning her nurse
and showing full loyalty towards her Romeo, Juliet shows full maturity and responsibility. In Pride
and Prejudice When Mr Collins proposes to Elizabeth she shows complete defiance as she refuses in
favour of waiting for someone who she actually loves. She tells him that to accept his proposals is
absolutely impossible as her feelings in every respect forbid it . Clearly she is not afraid to go against
what her mother wants and what is expected of her in society. Her harsh language and use of the word
forbid emphasises the force of her rejection. Much like Juliet, Elizabeth shows strong feelings of
love/attraction to someone whom her parent(s) are not aware of. Another strong feeling is how Mrs
Bennett is always feeling sorry for herself and her nerves and becomes very self centred. She is very
selfish in the sense she only cares about her future and not her daughter s happiness. The quote ... and

Case 1: Q1: What is the most likely cause of this patient s hypocalcemia? Explain your answer?
The most cause of hypocalcemia for this patient is osteomalacia for many reasons. First, this patient
had a history of Crohn disease and multiple bowel resection surgeries. That effect on the absorption of
vitamin D or breaking down food to release vitamin D. As a result, calcium was decreased because
vitamin D decreased which helps to absorb calcium. The second reason is her weight loss 32 pounds
after she had surgery three years earlier, which also lead to decrease vitamin D that helps to decrease
calcium absorption.
Q2: Which of the following statements regarding laboratory tests in metabolic bone disease is false?
Explain your answer?
A) serum calcium is typically normal in the patient with osteoporosis.
b) alkaline phosphatase is typically elevated is osteoporosis.
c) serum phosphorus is typically normal in the patient with Paget disease.
d) patient with hyperparathyroidism often develop hypercalcemia.
a) Serum calcium is typically normal in patient with osteoporosis this is a wrong statement because
calcium plays an important role in the bone remodeling process, and the deficiency of calcium leads to
impaired bone deposition. So, patient with osteoporosis has low bone strength as a result of calcium
deficiency.

The And Treatment Of The Poor Vs. The United States
An analysis of the documents pertaining to colonial Wethersfield, Connecticut (1750s 1780s) revealed
that Document N accurately characterizes the time period. The three main ideas found in Document N
are ascribed to the treatment of the poor vs. the treatment of the rich, the amount of power both
political and religious held by Congressionalists, and the presence of religion in the law. In order to
further understand the document and fully grasp these ideas, aspects of the time period had to be
examined. Two very important aspects of this period were religion and politics. Like the other
colonies, colonial Wethersfield held religion in high esteem. In examining the documents, it was easy
to see how heavily religion influenced the law. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Documents B and C represent the distribution of taxable property (Document B) as well as the
distribution of land holdings (Document C) that took place in 1756 and 1773. In a letter written by
Silas Deane, a Wethersfield merchant and Connecticut delegate to the First Continental Congress, to
Patrick Henry, a Virginia delegate to the First Continental Congress, on January 2, 1775, Silas wrote:
[The Connecticut man s] first principle is to possess a disencumbered freehold, be it ever so small, in
preference to the largest under quit rents and landlords...for a Connecticut farmer with two hundred
and fifty or three hundred acres of good land, is a rich man, that is, as rich as he wishes to be
(Document F). In that letter, Silas Deane asked Patrick Henry to grant permission to a group of
Connecticut settlers and allow them to travel to an Ohio settlement in hopes of procuring the land. By
interpreting the above quote, it s easy to visualize the colonial belief that to own a piece of land, even
a small one, provides a greater sense of accomplishment than living on a larger property owned by
someone else. Document N originates from the General History of Connecticut, a book published by
Reverend Samuel Peters in 1781. It was notorious for the uncomplimentary ways in which the
colonists were depicted, as well as the distortion of the Connecticut Blue Laws, a term used to
describe the laws regulating

Crucial Issues In Our World
Since time immemorial, humans have been helping each other in hard situations. There is a famous
saying from Gandhi, who says: The best way to find yourself is to lose yourself in the service of
others. Nowadays, it is one of the most crucial issues in our world, so we can see a vast number of
charities with various purposes everywhere. For instance, some of them are for fighting against cancer
or other illnesses, some for helping hungry and homeless people, and above all, war victims. There are
different opinions on the best way to apply this worthy cause. To put this subject into perspective,
perhaps it would be better to look objectively at two major ideas on this contentious matter.

Russia after the Fall of the Soviet Union
After the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, the world watched Russia closely as the largest country
remaining from the former superpower built itself into a democracy. However, within a short amount
of time, Russia has slipped into competitive authoritarianism, giving much of the governmental power
to its current president, Vladimir Putin. In contrast, another semi presidential system, the government
of France, is a strong democracy. France s government has been largely successful since the creation
of the Fifth Republic in 1958 and the most recent constitution. In addition to this, the roles of the
president and prime minister have been balanced and checked since President Charles de Gaulle
stepped down in 1969. These two countries, while sharing the same basic political skeleton, are vastly
different in power division and, ultimately, the success of democracy. Unlike France, Russia s
democracy slid into competitive authoritarianism because of the overpowering amount of unchecked
power the president has. Since the writing of the Russian constitution in 1993, the presidency has been
a concentration of power that has ultimately led to the demolition of democracy in the country in
contrast to France s success. The basis of the president s power in each respective country is vastly
different: in the 1993 Russian constitution, the president s powers are multifarious, in the French Fifth
Republic constitution, the president does not directly govern (Cases, O Neil, 162). Much

Personalized Learning Is Bad For Students
Why Personalized Learning Is Bad For Students
The debate of personalized learning has risen up in school districts all across the United States.
Hearing about the personalization of learning, which is a structured curriculum solely based on the
students needs. Teachers soon turn into tutors, helping each individual student with their own struggles
and questions. Since each student has their own schedule, classrooms aren t conducted in the same
manner students are glued to their own computers in the classroom. This means no projects, no field
trips and no learning methods to grasp the students attention and get them on bored with learning.
With that said, not one learning method is guaranteed to suit all students. Supposedly, personalized ...

Percutaneous Medical Image And Ultrasound Image
1. INTRODUCTION
1.1 Objectives
It has been proved that ultrasound imaging is the main and primary device that is used as guidance for
percutaneous medical procedures (Gray 2006). However, poor needle tip localization needs to be
solved. Also, localize the needle tip in deep locations (`Cheung Rohling 2004) and slope insertion
angles (Edgombe Hocking 2010). Enhancing the needle visibility will lead to decrease procedures
failure.
Mohammad mentioned that in his studies in 2013, an ultrasound actuated needle with a transducer can
be visualized under ultrasound colour Doppler mode, which also, can reduce the force during needle
penetration process. However, the validity of the actuating needle in this study needs to be proved.

types are illustrated in section 2.9. Finally, an ultrasound actuated needle device piezoelectric, and its

2.1 Background
There are many clinical practices which involve skin percutaneous diagnosis and therapies. A thin tool
such needle, catheter, tissue ablation probe etc, is inserted into a tissue to reach a target (Abolhassani
et al., 2006). Take a biopsy from (breast, kidney, and liver), nerve block, drug delivery and blood
sampling, are some applications of percutaneous needle procedures (Bishoff et al. 1998). The accuracy
of needle insertion determines the efficiency of a percutaneous diagnosis or therapy (Youk et al.,
2007). According to Abolhassani et al., (2006), the type of application or procedure determines the
required accuracy of the procedures. For example, biopsy, anaesthesia, and brachytherapy, are
required accuracy of millimetres while in other producers such as eye, brain, ear, and foetus are
required much higher accuracy in nanometres. According to Kohn et al., (2000), the target could be in
the millimetre neighbourhood of another organ, nerve or vessel. Hence, needle insertion producers

Chivalry In Sir Gawain And The Green Knight, And Thomas...
Knights often had a certain chivalry code that they had to follow, in (Sir Gawain and the Green
Knight) and (Morte D Arthur) by Sir Thomas Malory their are examples of chivalry. Knights often had
a certain code they had to follow usually relating to religion, moral, and social code. This system kept
the knights usually under strict order. The knights had many expectations for following this certain
code, and many of them took it seriously. In (Sir Gawain and The Green Knight) and (Morte D Arthur)
there s three main points that knights must follow for their chivalry code, religion, moral, and
protecting women.
The first example of the chivalry code is in (Sir Gawain and The Green Knight) where the knight has
to follow religion. These knights often had a very good rep for the things they followed. For they were
very strict when it came to most things, religion being one of the top things they always followed.
Gawain the knight gets put into a situation where he is tested by religion. While Gawain is staying at
the castle the Lord s wife comes to seduce him. She fails for a few nights, but eventually the Knight
gives in to his moral code and does things he shouldn t have with the Lords Knight. there is none so

code but this quote shows you how he failed. Mcentire explains,

Womens Choir Performance Essay
The Women s Choir Festival included many different singing groups from Baylor and the community.
The women s choir and Bella Voce each performed two songs. The third part of the concert consisted
of 4 soloists singing in opera style. The final performance was a large group of singers from 9 high
school and the Baylor Choirs. Everyone got on stage for the final performance and sang 3 songs
together. All the songs that were performed varied in qualities. Some had a very fast tempo while
others were very slow and sorrowful. Most of the music was under four minutes in length, except for
the final composition which was a blend of songs and therefore went on longer. After each section,
had performed they would either sit on stage and watch the other groups go, or they would move into
the first few rows of seating for the crowd and wait for their turn again to go. All of the soloists came

It was a very upbeat song with an Allegro tempo. The piece was polyphonic with multiple changes in
dynamics. There were crescendos and decrescendos throughout; especially when it was transitioning
between rhythms. The song had its own melody and rhythm that was intertwined with the lyrics and
rhythm of When the Saint Go Marching In . It went back and forth between the two melodies which
caused the song to last longer than the other 4 minutes songs in the concert. The only timbres that
were present were once associated with voice and piano; no other instruments were used. The complex
texture of this song may have arisen from the canonic imitation that was used throughout. One half of
the choir would sing one part, followed by the other half repeating it. Performing this song was the
large group of all 9 high schools and Baylor choir student; there had to be over 150 people singing all
at once. This gave it a deeper and richer feeling as all of the voices blended together so

Behind Closed Doors
Analysis (350 words) The short story, Behind Closed Doors , is about a young girl who is tricked into
getting trafficked by being given the incentive of earning money for her sick father s treatment. It
vividly describes the betrayal by the protagonist s uncle in entering her into this sick human
trafficking trade. Her uncle s communicative behavior and registers show that at times bad things must
be done for a good reason. First, the use of communicative behavior allows us to see how the uncle
appeared as bad at first and we later find that he actually did those things for a good reason. It shows
us that because the buyer could not handle the little girl he actually got out of the car and helping him

Cost Analysis On The Company
Cost Analysis
On our first meeting with our sponsor, we were asked to do a cost analysis to determine what is the
lowest price that the company can charge for each style and when would they break even. Since the
company had taken reserves on almost all the shoe styles for Dr. Comfort, we had to determine the net
inventory after the reserves. To accomplish this task, we created an excel worksheet that lists all the
items that have been assigned a percentage of reserves (Please refer to the worksheet in Appendix).
After determining the amount of reserves for each shoe style, we calculated net inventory. We added
additional costs such as the average freight for each country and calculated a new cost per style after
including all other costs ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Each unit sold after the breakeven quantity would be a profit for the company since all costs would
have been covered. To accomplish this task, we used an average cost approach since that is the method
used to value Dr. Comfort products.
Interviews
Throughout the course of this project, we met many people who were either directly involved with Dr.
Comfort shoes or had years of experience on international markets. Our task was to come up with
questions to ask them at each meeting to help us reach our goal.
John Martin, VP of International Markets at DJO Global LLC
The first person we met was John Martin. He is the Vice President of international marketing at DJO.
He is not directly involved with any Dr. Comfort products. However, he does have a lot of knowledge
about international markets since he is in charge of marketing other medical devices manufactured by
DJO in foreign countries. When we met with him, we showed him a list of potential countries that had
suitable markets for medical devices based on a list of criteria we developed. He helped us narrow
down the list to Australia, Japan, North Korea, Brazil and Russia.
Since we initially considered medical channels in all countries, we asked Mr. Martin which countries
he would recommend that we focus on. Mr. Martin s knowledge about regulatory restrictions and
registration processes helped us exclude China from the list. China has a very long registration process
for medical devices that could take up

Far Away Vs Shrek
Locked in a tower far, far away, guarded by a fire breathing dragon, lived a beautiful princess. Her
parents casted her away because she was cursed by an evil witch, by night one way, by day another
thus shall be the norm till you receive true loves kiss, and then take true loves form (Shrek). One day
she is to be rescued by a handsome prince, the curse would be broken, and they would live happily

Shrek 2 breaks the typical stereotype of princess animated films by showing children a better

Shrek 2 is projecting toward different races by having a Latino and African American characters, they

Essay on Deadbeat Dads are Not Criminals
Fathers every year in Washington go to jail for nothing more than being broke (Deadbeat). They are
called dead beat dads by their peers, scorn by society, and treated as subclass citizens (THE,
ASSOCIATED). This is a very grim reality that men of every age range face daily. Both men and
women make the choices which result in babies. However, women are given a choice at every stage of
the child s development to adopt out, abort, or even use contraception (Why). Thus, men and women
share equal responsibility in the acts that conceive children. However, men do not have the same
options women do (Why). Despite this, DCS hunts men down as if they are the answer to all of

Unfortunately, $540 wasn t enough for the DA who threatened jail time if he could not come up with
$2500 (Miller). As a result, Robin Miller refused to sign any order and kept the money he was going
to pay (Miller). Miller believed he would need this money in order to pay for representation (Miller).
The next case I submit to you is that of Andre F. Braxton. Braxton was in court for a child support
debt of $61,000 (Deadbeat). Under the pressure of this debt Braxton made a $1,500 payment to the
courts then fled the court room (Deadbeat). Deputies reported that Braxton never returned to his home
(Deadbeat). As can be seen, I do not make these claims lightly. Both of these men were absolutely
intent on paying their obligations; however, in both cases the men could not pay as much as the state
demanded. As a result of this, one man ran and another withheld his payment. Were these men not
under threat of loss of liberty (arrest), they may have been able to continue paying support obligations
to a lesser degree. However, under the threat of arrest these men can no longer make any support
payments. Finally, were these men to have been arrested, the result would have been the same.
Next, I reason that child support is not a man s obligation at all. The reason men are expected to pay
support dates back to colonial days when the woman stayed home, and the man provided for her and
the children (Colonial). In this era, the woman had no options and no means of

Why Does Hysteria Occur In The 1800 s
Women have been accused of being hysterical for centuries. Hysteria is defined as a psychoneurotic
disorder characterized by violent emotional outbreaks, disturbances of sensory and motor functions,
and various abnormal effects due to autosuggestion. Hysteria is not a condition that is specific to only
females (Hysteria). Although it is more common among women, men can also become hysterical in
their lifetime. This idea was proposed in the 1800s by a French neurologists named Jean Martin
Charcot. Charcot believed that hysteria was not a sexual disease that was only in women, he
concluded that it was in fact an inherited nervous disorder that affected both sexes (Hysteria). Hysteria

Prescription and over the counter drugs. If you asked the vast majority of people in the US if there a

Morality In The Film Do The Right Thing
The title itself Do The Right Thing is oxymoronic because nobody in the film does the right thing.
This can be said about even now. The people in the film thought that by burning down the pizzeria a

The administration made some progress on such issues as taking state responsibility for past human
rights cases, supporting human rights in international forums, and pressing labor rights reforms, but it
failed to show significant advances on combating impunity in past human rights cases, military
reforms, and legislation to increase political participation. The political balance was once again
disrupted in 2000 when allegations surfaced that the FRG had illegally altered legislation. Following
an investigation, the Supreme Court stripped those involved including President of Congress and FRG
chief Rios Montt of their legislative immunity to face charges in the case. At roughly the same time,
the PAN opposition suffered an internal split and broke into factions; the same occurred in the ANN.
Reforms essential to peace implementation still await legislative action.

for indigenous women in particular continue to degenerate. Indigenous women continue to be

Basketball Vs Football Vs Basketball
Track Field vs Football, Baseball Basketball Sports are one of the most popular extracurricular
activities among high school students and even adults that choose to professionalize their sport. Each
sport has its share of disadvantages that all help in contributing to one particular sport truly being the
best to take part in. Track and field is easily the best sport for anyone to choose to participate in. Track
and field is a sport in which various competitive athletic events take place that establish the skills of
running, sprinting, jumping and throwing on a running track and an adjacent field. Track and Field
favors a wide range of body types, has a lightweight uniform and is the safest in contrast to football,
baseball and basketball, which makes it the most idealistic of the sports. Track and field is a sport
most well known for its teamwork. The sport s teamwork is emphasized and strengthened through its
diversity. Track is abundant in diversity due to the fact that there is a variety of events to participate in
as opposed to playing the same game as everybody else like in football, baseball and basketball. For
example, the object of football is to get the ball to the other end; the object of baseball is to run around
a diamond before someones throws a ball home. Lastly, the main concept of basketball, much like
football, is to dribble the ball to the other end of the court. Track and field is also much safer than

On March 10, 1990 the people of Kanesatake took a stand in the Pines on a dirt road that lead to the

Anime Vs Japanese Appime
Lately, in today society, anime are being dubbed faster than the past. Usually, it takes about a year for

I prefer Japanese version than the English dubbed version. I prefer subtitle anime because I only wait
once a week for a new episode, it contains the original context and it helps me learn more about the
language and the culture. Japan is an amazing culture that makes you want to visit at least once in

Bcg Matrix
What is BCG matrix?
The BCG matrix is a chart that had been created by Bruce Henderson for the Boston Consulting
Group in 1968 to help corporations with analyzing their business units or product lines. This helps the
company allocate resources and is used as an analytical tool in brand marketing, product management,
strategic management, and portfolio analysis. Analysis of market performance by firms using its
principles has called its usefulness into question, and it has been removed from some major marketing
textbooks.
Understanding the Matrix
BCG matrix means of analyzing the balance of an organization s product portfolio. According to this
matrix, two basic factors define a product s strategic stance in the market place:
1. Relative ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The most obvious difficulty is that strategy is defined purely in terms of two simple factors and other
issues are ignored. Further problems include:
● The definition of market growth What is high market growth and what is low? Conventionally, this
is often set above or below 5 per cent per annum, but there are no rules.
● The definition of the market It is not always clear how the market should be defined. It is always
possible to make a product dominate a market by defining the market narrowly enough. For example,
do we consider the entire European steel market, where Usinor would have a small share, or do we
take the French segment only, when the Usinor share would be much higher? This could radically alter
the conclusions.
● The definition of relative market share. What constitutes a high relative share and a low share?
Conventionally, the ratio is set at 1.5 (organization s product to share of market leader s product) but
why should this be so? Hence, although the BCG matrix has the merit of simplicity, it has some
significant weaknesses. As a result, other product portfolio approaches have been developed.

SWOT analysis is the evaluation of available Information concerning the Business environment in
order to identify internal strengths and weaknesses, and external Threats and Opportunities.

been lifted off of my shoulders and at the same time the sadness that I felt was just weighing me back
down. I was so glad my dad was finally going to take a stand and stop the arguing but I was so sad
that he was going to have to leave to do it.
I blame my dad for taking the easy way out and I blame my mom for allowing it. I blame society as a
whole for commercializing divorce on a level that allows parents to choose it as if it were the only
option. Because of these things this is how I have spent the last twenty years of my life, seeking the
easiest way out of tough situation and blaming myself for things that were beyond my control.
People who are not from broken homes or do not have first hand experience with divorce have no idea
what it does to a child.

the last three years of financial statements will also show profitability, liquidity and capital financial
ratios.

This keeps the endowment producing income and restricted as a fund that needs board approval to
move over to the unrestricted area.
Looking back at the statement of financial positon for 2013, 2014 and 2015 shows increases each year
in the revenue. Investments over this period have increased by 2 million. Equipment and improvement
expenses have gone down. In 2013 the expense was over 300k. 2014 and 2015 were much smaller
around 10k. 2016 jumped up to just over 200k. This shows that attention is being paid to improving
the office and equipment and staying up to date with technology.
A steady increase in the investments is an advantage as the future contributions may not be
sustainable. Economy or disasters could impact donations. Earnings from the investments will help
each year as the mission is accomplished and can be added to donations to help more individuals.
Conclusion This is a transparent organization that has been saving lives and families for decades. It

Photodynamic Therapy Research Paper
Photodynamic therapy (PDT) is a treatment that uses a drug, called a photosensitizer and a particular
type of light. When photosensitizers are exposed to a certain wavelength of light, they produce a form
of oxygen that kills nearby cells. Photodynamic Therapy is also a potential therapy for cancer
treatment. Photosensitizers are generally classified as porphyrins or non porphyrins. First generation
photosensitizers include hematoporphyrin derivative and Photofrin. A number of second generation
photosensitizers have been developed to alleviate certain problems associated with first generation
molecules such as prolonged skin photosensitization and suboptimal tissue penetration. These second
generation photosensitizers are chemically pure

Children spend most of their day at school were they have to eat breakfast and lunch. Toimproving
school lunches, schools need to eliminate fatty foods and offering healthier choices than help lower
childhood obesity. The first step in order for schools to start improving school lunches is to offer free

Use of Mrs. Tobins’s DNA in the Murder of Amanda Christopher
Use of Mrs. Tobins s DNA in the Murder of Amanda Christopher
Introduction:
DNA comparisons are crucial when investigating crimes. Amanda Christopher s home had a
significant amount of forensic evidence behind that has yet to be determined. The Supreme Court has
analyzed the issue as to whether or not use storing and using DNA was considered constitutional.
Although, Pennsylvania is silent on the issue, several states have seen the need for the use and storage
of DNA that is obtained of arrestees charged of serious crimes, such as felonies and sexual offenses.
Analyzing both the federal and other states provides some guidance as to whether or not the use of
previously obtained DNA is constitutional.
Questions Presented:
1. What is the standard for using previously obtained DNA from an unrelated arrest for a current
investigation?
Answer: Depends on the state. Few states allow the storage and use of an arrestee s DNA in certain
criminal proceedings. Most states, including Pennsylvania, limit the storage and use of DNA to those
who were convicted.
2. Can the police use DNA collected at the time of the arrest of Mrs. Tobin from the jewelry store
incident for comparison of the DNA found at Amanda Christopher s home? Answer: Maybe.
Pennsylvania Discussion of Current Law:
The Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution guarantees all persons the right to be free
from unreasonable searches and seizures . Federally, taking a sample of a person s

1. Michael J Saylor was the Chairman of MicroStrategy had committed fraud in reporting profits
when the company was actually losing money. Mr. Saylor settled the civil charges that were filed in
federal court in Washington without admitting or denying them and agreed to pay $8.3 million to
shareholders and a $350,000 penalty to the S.E.C. I think that 8.3 million dollars to the shareholders is
a lot of money to be paid. I do not agree with this price. Since he was the Chairman of the company, I
think he should have not committed fraud. I know he did not want his company to collapse, but he still
should have not committed fraud. I do agree with the 350,000 penalty to the S.E.C. I think that price is
not too bad.

I do not agree with this sentence. I think Houvan should have served time for this crime because
35,000 is a lot of money also Houman forged signatures to get the money. So, I think Houvan should
at least get 2 years in prison for this crime.
4. Kathryn Harmon was owner, president, CEO, financial aid director, bookkeeper, and medical
instructor for the college of Allied Health. In the Case involving Harmon and Case, an investigation
showed that the College of Allied Health received allocations of more than 1.7 million in Pell Grant
funding to distribute to its students. The investigation revealed that more than 1.4 million had been
fraudulently obtained by the school. Harmon, Case and other Co conspirators forged and created
documents and submitted fraudulent grant applications to the US department of education for non
existent or non eligible students. A portion of the 1.4 million was used to pay salaries and operating
expenses and the rest was used for their own personal use. Some of the funds were spent on jewelry,
real estate, furniture, and an automobile. Harmon and Case was sentenced to 5 years in prison and
250,000 in fines. I do not agree with this sentence, I think they should have gotten 10 years for what
they had done because 1.4 million is a lot of money to be stolen. Also, they were not supposed to use
the money to pay salaries and operating expenses that money was supposed to go to the students

Suspense In The Film Rear Window
Hitchcock uses many techniques throughout the film Rear Window to convey suspense. The major
theme of the film regards Jefferies voyeurism. His intrigue in the everyday lives of his neighbours is
viewed as intrusive and morally wrong on principle. However, without this voyeuristic tendency the
crime committed by Thornwald would never have been solved. Thus, the audience is lead through
emotional turmoil in questioning whether it is wrong to invade someone s privacy, or just and heroic
to solve a crime. We see the climax of the film when Lisa and Stella venture out of Jefferies apartment
to investigate the murder of Mrs Thornwald. This leads to a confrontation between Thornwald and
Jefferies. These scenes build suspense through the use of detachment, the use of split screen , red
herring plot devices, lighting, music and diegetic sound.
In Hitchcock s Rear Window Jefferies apartment is the sole viewpoint to the outside world for the
audience. We rarely see anything that isn t from Jefferies immediate surroundings or directly from his
point of view. This gives Jefferies, and in turn the viewers, a detached sense of realism from the world
of the apartment complex opposite. This detachment is apparent to throughout the movie as many
characters state to Jefferies that what he s doing is morally wrong. However, the line of moral and
immoral conduct is pushed as Jefferies continues to watch his neighbours and ultimately becomes
directly involved in the plot which he had

Ralph Bullying Research Paper
Fatty! Pig! Fatty! Come on Fatty keep up! In a community people think it is awesome to bully people.
Bullying is teasing someone because people are overweight, or people are jealous. For example,
people usually get bullied because people are overweight, or have down syndrome. The people behind
this bullying are usually the jocks. Consider the people that are hurt everyday because of bullying. For
instance, more people are hurt then being excited or happy. Let s stop bullying because people are
alike and no one is perfect. This world is not perfect by any means, so no one will be perfect. Also,
people should try to act like people are perfect. People on Earth should be like brothers and sisters.

For example, in beginning all the kids wanted to be chief and Jack got jealous and wants to be chief
(Golding 23). Jack needs to understand that he isn t perfect, and he can t be number one. The world

up (Golding 150). Jack can t settle on being a follower he has to be the lead. There are little kids
around that Ralph and the group are trying to save, but Jack is to stubborn to realize that. He has made
it all about himself even if people get hurt. For example, Piggy died because Jack teasing him

push others around. Stand up for who people can be. Say what people should say. It s better to say the
truth then making a poor decision can take someone s life even though the truth hurts. In Lord Of The

tear themselves down. Also bullying causes people to feel so horrible they do not want to live

Enforcing Gender Roles By Sectioning Off Toys
Toys. When you walk into any store you ll find two seperate toy rows. A bright pink row filled with
Barbies, My Little Pony, and Littlest Pet Shop. Princesses, stuffed animals, dresses and sparkles. The
other section is cool blues with Nerf Guns, Legos, and Hotwheels. Action figures line the aisles. Two
genders, separated like night and day. Why should we separate them? What do the expected toys for
each gender say about gender roles and how our society silently enforces them?
Are we enforcing gender roles by sectioning off toys? By doing this we re teaching boy that they need
to be sporty or like cars and trucks, which leads into a social norm of men being more emotionally

  • 4. Economic Criticism Of Robinson Crusoe CRUSOE S QUEST FOR FORTUNE In Daniel Defoe s novel Robinson Crusoe the title character, Crusoe, left his country due to economic motives. Ian Watt has noted in his essay named Robinson Crusoe as a Myth that Crusoe observes nature, not with the eyes of a pantheistic primitive, but with the calculating gaze of a colonial capitalism; wherever he looks he sees acres that cry out for improvement, and as he settles down to the task he glows...with...purposive possession. Robinson Crusoe subjugated the island with the drive of Western European nations and exploited it with the formation of cultural hierarchy. I agree with Crusoe and his labors to commodify and take possession of his island because he used all relationships for his own benefit, ending convinced of his own superiority. In the beginning, Crusoe s desire for money drove him to go on a voyage to London. During this voyage, his ship was captured by a Turkish pirate, and Crusoe ended up enslaved on a Moorish port named Salle (Defoe 12). After two years of being held in captivity, Crusoe says I meditated nothing but escape, and what method to take effect (Defoe 13). He relied on his aptitude to help him through his escape, and since nothing presented itself, he ended up putting it into practice when he was sent to go fishing with a Moor named Ismael and a young boy named Xury. He brought up to the Moor s attention that they were not going to sustain themselves with the patron s bread so, then he brought biscuits and fresh water into the boat. Soon, after that he tricked the moor by saying our patron s gun are on board the boat, can you not get a little powder...it maybe we kill some alcamies for ourselves, for I know he keeps the gunner s in the ship (Defoe 15). Crusoe s ability to play tricks on Ismael clearly connects to his gaze of a colonial capitalist. Also, when Crusoe, Ismael, and Xury were fishing and a fish got caught on his hook he didn t pull them. Then, suggested to the moor that they should go deeper into the sea to catch more fishes in order to serve the patron s wishes (Defoe 16). Then, the moor agreed and Crusoe s strong determination to escape urged him to run the boat further out into the sea. When he was giving the boy the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 7. Reverend Dimmesdale Quotes Nathaniel Hawthorne s The Scarlet Letter provides a window into the puritanical mind through his character Reverend Dimmesdale. Reverend Dimmesdale comes to understand that one s relationship with God supersedes any other relationship one has, whether it s with one s beloved, one s children, or one s social circle. He expresses it publicly on the scaffold in a dramatic sequence in a passage in chapter 23. Throughout the story Dimmesdale is supposed to be an example of upright godly behavior but he s lying everyday, all the time, in every relationship because he had an affair with Hester. While adultery was illegal, it was also against one of God s Ten Commandments. Dimmesdale tells the people while they ve always seen Hester s sign of sin, they never knew about his own. Yet, God s eye beheld it! The angels were forever pointing at it! The devil knew it well and fretted it continually with the touch of his burning finger! (Page number). • 8. Essay about Pride and Prejudice Elizabeth and Juliet both reject their parents choice of husband. How are strong feeling presented by the writers in these extracts? In Act 3 Scene 5 strong feelings are portrayed through out the scene. One example of this is at the start of the scene Juliet shows strong feelings of grief towards Romeo s departure. Yet let me weep for such a feeling loss. This shows that she misses Romeo although he has only just left. The word loss gives off the impressing Juliet feels she will never see Romeo again and that he is no longer hers. Her maturity is made clear directly after her wedding night when she partakes in her first sexual experience. Another point in Juliet s maturation is when she is willing to break away from The Nurse after she says I think it best you married the County. This shows The Nurse is quite selfish and doesn t care for Juliet s feelings or that she is already married to Romeo. The phrase I think emphasizes the fact she only cares about her opinion. Having a nurse is a mark of childhood; by abandoning her nurse and showing full loyalty towards her Romeo, Juliet shows full maturity and responsibility. In Pride and Prejudice When Mr Collins proposes to Elizabeth she shows complete defiance as she refuses in favour of waiting for someone who she actually loves. She tells him that to accept his proposals is absolutely impossible as her feelings in every respect forbid it . Clearly she is not afraid to go against what her mother wants and what is expected of her in society. Her harsh language and use of the word forbid emphasises the force of her rejection. Much like Juliet, Elizabeth shows strong feelings of love/attraction to someone whom her parent(s) are not aware of. Another strong feeling is how Mrs Bennett is always feeling sorry for herself and her nerves and becomes very self centred. She is very selfish in the sense she only cares about her future and not her daughter s happiness. The quote ... and all of the others equally married, I shall ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 12. The And Treatment Of The Poor Vs. The United States An analysis of the documents pertaining to colonial Wethersfield, Connecticut (1750s 1780s) revealed that Document N accurately characterizes the time period. The three main ideas found in Document N are ascribed to the treatment of the poor vs. the treatment of the rich, the amount of power both political and religious held by Congressionalists, and the presence of religion in the law. In order to further understand the document and fully grasp these ideas, aspects of the time period had to be examined. Two very important aspects of this period were religion and politics. In a letter written by Silas Deane, a Wethersfield merchant and Connecticut delegate to the First Continental Congress, to Patrick Henry, a Virginia delegate to the First Continental Congress, on January 2, 1775, Silas wrote: [The Connecticut man s] first principle is to possess a disencumbered freehold, be it ever so small, in preference to the largest under quit rents and landlords...for a Connecticut farmer with two hundred and fifty or three hundred acres of good land, is a rich man, that is, as rich as he wishes to be (Document F). In that letter, Silas Deane asked Patrick Henry to grant permission to a group of Connecticut settlers and allow them to travel to an Ohio settlement in hopes of procuring the land. By interpreting the above quote, it s easy to visualize the colonial belief that to own a piece of land, even a small one, provides a greater sense of accomplishment than living on a larger property owned by someone else. Russia after the Fall of the Soviet Union After the fall of the Soviet Union in 1991, the world watched Russia closely as the largest country remaining from the former superpower built itself into a democracy. However, within a short amount of time, Russia has slipped into competitive authoritarianism, giving much of the governmental power to its current president, Vladimir Putin. In contrast, another semi presidential system, the government of France, is a strong democracy. France s government has been largely successful since the creation of the Fifth Republic in 1958 and the most recent constitution. In addition to this, the roles of the president and prime minister have been balanced and checked since President Charles de Gaulle stepped down in 1969. These two countries, while sharing the same basic political skeleton, are vastly different in power division and, ultimately, the success of democracy. Unlike France, Russia s democracy slid into competitive authoritarianism because of the overpowering amount of unchecked power the president has. Since the writing of the Russian constitution in 1993, the presidency has been a concentration of power that has ultimately led to the demolition of democracy in the country in contrast to France s success. The basis of the president s power in each respective country is vastly different: in the 1993 Russian constitution, the president s powers are multifarious, in the French Fifth Republic constitution, the president does not directly govern (Cases, O Neil, 162). As a result, Robin Miller refused to sign any order and kept the money he was going to pay (Miller). Miller believed he would need this money in order to pay for representation (Miller). The next case I submit to you is that of Andre F. Braxton. Braxton was in court for a child support debt of $61,000 (Deadbeat). Under the pressure of this debt Braxton made a $1,500 payment to the courts then fled the court room (Deadbeat). Deputies reported that Braxton never returned to his home (Deadbeat). As can be seen, I do not make these claims lightly. Both of these men were absolutely intent on paying their obligations; however, in both cases the men could not pay as much as the state demanded. As a result of this, one man ran and another withheld his payment. Were these men not under threat of loss of liberty (arrest), they may have been able to continue paying support obligations to a lesser degree. However, under the threat of arrest these men can no longer make any support payments. Finally, were these men to have been arrested, the result would have been the same. Next, I reason that child support is not a man s obligation at all. The reason men are expected to pay support dates back to colonial days when the woman stayed home, and the man provided for her and the children (Colonial). In this era, the woman had no options and no means of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Track and field is easily the best sport for anyone to choose to participate in. Track and field is a sport in which various competitive athletic events take place that establish the skills of running, sprinting, jumping and throwing on a running track and an adjacent field. The most obvious difficulty is that strategy is defined purely in terms of two simple factors and other issues are ignored. Further problems include: ● The definition of market growth What is high market growth and what is low? Conventionally, this is often set above or below 5 per cent per annum, but there are no rules. ● The definition of the market It is not always clear how the market should be defined. It is always possible to make a product dominate a market by defining the market narrowly enough. For example, do we consider the entire European steel market, where Usinor would have a small share, or do we take the French segment only, when the Usinor share would be much higher? This could radically alter the conclusions. ● The definition of relative market share. What constitutes a high relative share and a low share? Conventionally, the ratio is set at 1.5 (organization s product to share of market leader s product) but why should this be so? Hence, although the BCG matrix has the merit of simplicity, it has some significant weaknesses. As a result, other product portfolio approaches have been developed. . Kathryn Harmon was owner, president, CEO, financial aid director, bookkeeper, and medical instructor for the college of Allied Health. In the Case involving Harmon and Case, an investigation showed that the College of Allied Health received allocations of more than 1.7 million in Pell Grant funding to distribute to its students. The investigation revealed that more than 1.4 million had been fraudulently obtained by the school. Harmon, Case and other Co conspirators forged and created documents and submitted fraudulent grant applications to the US department of education for non existent or non eligible students. A portion of the 1.4 million was used to pay salaries and operating expenses and the rest was used for their own personal use. Some of the funds were spent on jewelry, real estate, furniture, and an automobile. Harmon and Case was sentenced to 5 years in prison and 250,000 in fines. I do not agree with this sentence, I think they should have gotten 10 years for what they had done because 1.4 million is a lot of money to be stolen. Also, they were not supposed to use the money to pay salaries and operating expenses that money was supposed to go to the students enrolled ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

His intrigue in the everyday lives of his neighbours is viewed as intrusive and morally wrong on principle. However, without this voyeuristic tendency the crime committed by Thornwald would never have been solved. Thus, the audience is lead through emotional turmoil in questioning whether it is wrong to invade someone s privacy, or just and heroic to solve a crime. We see the climax of the film when Lisa and Stella venture out of Jefferies apartment to investigate the murder of Mrs Thornwald. This leads to a confrontation between Thornwald and Jefferies. These scenes build suspense through the use of detachment, the use of split screen , red herring plot devices, lighting, music and diegetic sound. In Hitchcock s Rear Window Jefferies apartment is the sole viewpoint to the outside world for the audience. We rarely see anything that isn t from Jefferies immediate surroundings or directly from his point of view. This gives Jefferies, and in turn the viewers, a detached sense of realism from the world of the apartment complex opposite. This detachment is apparent to throughout the movie as many characters state to Jefferies that what he s doing is morally wrong. However, the line of moral and immoral conduct is pushed as Jefferies continues to watch his neighbours and ultimately becomes directly involved in the plot which he had ...
