•Belonging to Balochistan province of Pakistan, Khalida
has lived her life surrounded by beautiful balochi tradition.
•But apart from the beauty, she has also witnessed the
harshness of cultural restrictions on rural women and
domestic violence on them.

initiated a project in 2017
named The Chai Spot; a
café.

EXPLANATION
1. Clarify the Problem
 Understand Problem
Khalida brohi knew from the early stage of her life
that something is wrong and she has to take action
against domestic violence on rural women. She
wanted to empower them.

To initiate this idea, she has talked to many café owners,
contacted to many NGOs to get the insight how this project
can help to rural women of Pakistan.
• 50% of profits go towards supporting women in Pakistan.

household.

handmade home goods produced by women from
different villages of Pakistan. People can buy
these goods to support them.
