Analysis Of The Poem The Golden Sunshine
In a bright morning, the sun shone through the window in my bedroom, quietly. The golden sunshine,
brings me a sense of freshness, comfort and happiness. After half day of paper work, in the afternoon I
slowly came to the woods that situated not far away from home. Perhaps because the noon drizzle, the
air became fresh and sweet, filled with a touch of grass and the fragrance of wild flowers. In the wood,
the green leaves of these ancient pagoda tree brings a trace of coolness after the breeze passing by. I
walk on the earth, the green grass is so delicate, like the famous artist Spring try to make more people
understand that spring is coming; with her most precious color rendering of this vast expanse of
grassland, emerges a thriving scene.
Chirps in the peaceful forest, who is whistling? I guessed right, is the robin who fly around the bright
blue sky; probably beside it is the lady robin he like. Beautiful rhymes, like spring water flow out. At
this sweet moment, I think the chirps is better than all the music in our world. Apart from the bird call,
these agile squirrels and rabbits passing the branches cheerfully; the beauty butterflies play in between
the flowers and the bees are busy gathering nectar for the delicious honey. I sat on the grass, greedily
breath in the mellow soil, and at this point, my mind emerged the night last winter when I was passing
this forest on the way home......
It was two days before the Christmas, I carried the DSLR camera to capture the

Social Exchange Theory
Theories Of Relationship Theories Of Relationship [Document Title] [Document Title] Elizabeth
Wiwoloku Elizabeth Wiwoloku Introduction There are two main theories applied to relationships,
Social Exchange Theory and Equity Theory underpin commonly used behavioural therapies such as
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Integrative Cognitive
Behavioural Therapy. More recent studies in neuroscience and behavior and the importance of
language have led to the development of Relational Frame Theory and Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy as an alternative approach. In this essay I will outline the relationship models comparing and

Simpson et al. found that participants in existing relationships rated people of the opposite sex as less
attractive than participants not in relationships. This suggests that people judge prospects of new
alternative relationships as less profitable if they are already in a committed relationship. The CLA
may provide an explanation as to why many women choose to stay in abusive relationships. If
investments in the relationship are high (e.g. children, financial security) amp; alternative prospects
are bleak (e.g. poverty, homelessness), then a woman may see staying in the abusive relationship to be
more profitable than leaving it. Blau (1977) argued that interactions are expensive , as they take time,
energy and commitment and may involve unpleasant emotions and experiences. Therefore what we
get out of a relationship must exceed what goes in. Rusbult found that costs and rewards from a
relationship were weighed up in comparison to possible alternative relationships when deciding
whether they should be maintained which supports that social exchange models idea that people assess
rewards by making comparisons. Walster et al believed that social interactions involve an exchange of
rewards, like affection, information, status. The degree of attraction or liking reflects how people
evaluate the rewards they receive in relative to those given. Costs of being in a relationship may be
effort, money spent, time spent, or low self esteem, whilst the rewards may be pleasure,

Once Upon A Time Research Paper
Once Upon a Review Fairy tales, princes, princesses, witches, dwarves, ogres and a savior all in the
same story. These words describe a few of the characters in the show Once Upon a Time. Once Upon
a Time is on ABC and it is my favorite TV show! I am currently watching the fifth season of it. There
are many ways that make this show my favorite. If you are a person who likes fairy tales, especially
when you were little, you will enjoy it because it is the same stories but with a twist and with more
drama that teenagers will enjoy. This is why I like Once Upon a Time because I loved watching and
reading about these fairy tales when I was younger and now, with Once Upon a Time, I find these
stories even more exciting and with a lot more drama. It is also filled with action, romance and humor.
I love Once Upon a Time because of its characters, setting and plot. The first reason I enjoy this show
is because of the characters. There are a lot of characters in this show. These characters can also get
hard to keep track of because many of them will be brought back in a later season. Almost all of the
characters have two names because there are two worlds that they can be in and keeping track of it is
hard at times. If people pay attention to the show really well, then they will ... Show more content on

Once Upon a Time has great scenes and they have a lot of scenes, too. The main place where the
action takes place is in this town called Storybrooke. It is located in Main. The title of the town is just
a coincidence because it is like storybook and with fairy tales, and I love how they connected that. It is
really clever. Storybrooke is where all of the main characters were trapped because of a curse. The
place where they filmed was in Steveston BC, Canada. All of those characters used to be in the
Enchanted Forest. The Enchanted forest is where all of the characters are from. It is basically the
storybook where all of the stories are

Concealed Weapons On Campus
The decision for college and university campuses to allow their students to carry concealed weapons
on campus is a risky debate that one should disagree with. A numerous amount of unfortunate events
that have a chance of happening would result as a train thought if the decision was made. Various
public schools below college level have been publicized throughout the years to have been involved
with shootings, threats, or suicide with arms that were sneaked onto campus discretely, or exposed
through a rageful manner fired at random innocent individuals. College level, there is already a
majority of students that are above the age of eighteen or twenty one, both ages having the legal
privilege to purchase a weapon. This would increase a caution

impressive masterpieces from the beginning of human documented time to today s world. This free
exhibit offers an exciting, enjoyable experience to those of all ages and those of all backgrounds. From
the interactive futuristic portions of the building, to the delicate works of the past, there is something
at this museum to please each person s artistic mindset. As you arrive into the reception area of the
Cleveland Museum of Art, you are greeted with silence. The clomping of shoes and whispers of
fellow museum goers about what the true meaning behind the piece is fills the air. The first floor of
the museum is dedicated to historical artifacts and artwork dating in the time period called Before
Common Era (B.C.E.). Each piece is accompanied by a placard on the wall courtesy of the museum.
The pieces are approximately dated, described, and an explanation of how each piece was used is
given in the short paragraph. The second floor of the museum is filled with paintings and works from
the Common Era. These pieces originate all over the world and span centuries. It includes pottery and
figurines from first century Asia, suits of armor from the Medieval Era in Europe, to contemporary
paintings and sculptures in the Americas. This is where the majority of well known artwork is located.

Managing Information Security Risk Of A Cyber Attack
Next, AAE will use the NIST SP 800 39: Managing Information Security Risk to generate a response
for each risk.
Note that three of the risks are global risks; the data breach, terrorist, and rising fuel prices risks all
stem from AAE s global marketplace activities. According to the SP 800 39, AAE could utilize one of
five strategies to respond to risk. It could choose to: 1) accept risks, 2) avoid risks, 3) transfer/share
the risks, 4) mitigate the risks, or 5) avoid the risks. Following are the responses and strategies
generated by the register:
Risk 1 Cyber Attack (Global_1):
Mitigate C3J recommends AAE to use the defense in depth approach to security to mitigate the risk of
a cyber attack. Essentially, defense in depth involves employing multiple security systems to protect
company data. The concept works on the premise that if one system fails, another will be in place to
protect the data. Examples of defense in depth safeguards include using encryption to protect data
confidentiality, implementing solutions to detect an attack, implementing solutions to backup and
recover data, managing log files, and implementing a strong security awareness program. If a breach
occurs the Director of IT will notify the Executive Director and any affected parties before activating
the AAE incident response plan (IRP).
Risk 2 Rising aeronautical fuel prices (Global):
Transfer/share Crude oil is the source of jet fuel; therefore, jet fuel prices are directly correlated to oil

a Stage 1 organization the operation is considered as a necessary evil . The other functions, if they
have anything to say at all about operations, regard it as holding them back from competing
effectively. The operations function, they would say, is inward looking and at best reactive. It certainly
has very little positive to contribute towards competitive success. It is unlikely even to have developed
its resources so as to be appropriate for the company s competitive position. The best that the function
can hope for is to be ignored. At least when operations are being ignored it is not holding the company
back in any way. Certainly the rest of the organization would not look to operations as the source of
any originality, flair or competitive drive. In effect the operations function is aspiring only to reach the
minimum acceptable standards implied by the rest of the organization. It is trying to be internally
neutral , a position it attempts to achieve not by anything positive but by avoiding the bigger mistakes.
Certainly even when good organizations are let down by their operations function the resulting
publicity can be damaging.

Pros And Cons Of Japan Government
The 1955 system, time known as the one in which Japanese government was under the control of a
one party dominated and conservative structure that lasted over nearly forty years, the Liberal
Democratic Party (LDP) coming from the union of two conservatives parties: the Japan Democratic
Party and Liberal Party, was a functional structure that showed a relative stability and consistency
within the state against its opposition counterpart, the Japan Socialist Party (JSP). The system s
notable elements mainly consisted in anti labor and pro business policies that protected the home
market from outside influence with low levels of social welfare spending, making Japan pass through
a growth period though, at the same time, such system presented cases of Diet s unconstitutionalism,
corruption scandals, and a lack of organization in more than one aspect. ... Show more content on

while not being able to revise the Constitution, much more of a support for US presence and relying in

Spring Break
Spring break is supposed to be a great time from the second it begins, until the second it ends. Now
there is always that boring time it takes to get to wherever you may be going no matter how far that
may be it is always the least fun of the entire vacation. My last spring break s car ride happened to be
the least fun by far of any trip I have taken up to this point in my life. It all started out not so good
before I had even left to pick up my buddies who were riding with me for the trip. My good friend
Josh had came to stay with me the night before we left for Panama City Beach, Florida. We both
figured this would save us some time the next day since I already had to pick up another guy on the
way to Florida. That night, after Josh got ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
There were points where we were only going 20 mph on the interstate. We braved the storm and did
not stop once. Our minds were too set on the hopes and dreams of spring break. After making it
through two states worth of driving 20 mph in a snow storm we were a bit behind schedule in meeting
our friend at his place in Florida. However, we were still much ahead of the rest of our group who had
just left Indiana. As we entered the sunshine state we called Jake to see where we needed to go from
there. He gave us some directions as he took shots in a bar which made us skeptical as to how accurate
his directions were in the first place. Although we were unsure of the accuracy of the directions given
to us by our drunken friend we took the roads we were told to take. Unfortunately, our fears came to
life when we wound up 2 hours in the complete opposite direction of where we needed to be. At this
point, it was 4 a.m. Jake was sure he had told us to go the other way of what he had told us. Even to
this day he swears he told us the right way we just turned the opposite direction. Our only option was
to turn around and drive back 4 hours the way we came to get to his house to get some shut eye. We
made great time getting back on track and arriving in Jakes town. It was now around 7 am in Florida
and Jake had stopped answering his phone an hour ago. We had no idea where to go now that we were
actually in the right town. All we could think about was

Danger Of Mount Everest Essay
Dangers of Mount Everest
Climbing Mount Everest is a very dangerous extreme sport because it can not only be dangerous to
yourself, but also to others. Mount Everest has a lot of dangers killing and injuring people every year.
Other climbers on the mountain can also be a danger to yourself and other climbers. If a climber ahead
of you happens to slip or fall then he could fall on you hurting the both of you. People on Everest are
tired, sick, and sore which gives them an even bigger chance of something dangerous happening.
When climbing Mount Everest there is a spot on the mountain called the death zone. The death zone is

On Mount Everest there are many crevasses opening up and closing. A crevasse is usually found under
a new snow bridge which is made of snow from previous years. They are sometimes very hard to see
and are very lethal. When you can see them and have to cross them then you have to use a ladder and
must be very careful crossing because the spikes on your shoes are slippery against the metal ladder,
and you must also use a rope for assistance.
Weather on Everest is also a big danger to consider. On the mountain wind can reach up to 100 mph or
even more. If the weather is bad on the mountain you shouldn t go out and climb again, you should
wait for safe days. The temperature on Everest can range from 10 to 25 celsius. The weather is
probably the worst physical danger o n Everest. Whenever you can you need to check what the
weather is going to be like before going back out and climbing.
Another very common danger is frostbite. Frostbite occurs when different body parts aren t warm
enough. It normally happens to hands and feet. Frostbite makes the affected area blackish blue. If the
affected body part goes too long without treatment then it might have to be

History Of Italian Eateries In The United States
Of the many sorts of ethnic eateries in the United States, Italian eateries, including pizza chains, brag

visionaries and the likelihood of concocting an idea change. Italian eateries owe their causes to a great
extent to poor foreigners from southern Italy, business visionaries who began little markets, bars, and
eateries in Italian neighborhoods in the Northeast. The eateries started serving their ethnic neighbors
heartily seasoned, recognizable sustenances in substantial segments at low costs.
The nourishments depended on home cooking, including pasta, a glue or batter thing made of wheat
flour and water (in addition to eggs in northern Italy). Spaghetti, from the word spago, which means
string, is a common pasta. Macaroni, another pasta, is tubular in shape. In the north of Italy, ravioli

meat. Pastas take different shapes, each with its own name. Pizza is local to Naples, and it was there

Company Evaluation
Free Cash Flow Estimation
The first part of the company evaluation was focused on the historical performance of the company
for the last 5 years and projection of its free cash flow in the future. As presented in Appendix 1, in
those years the Allianz Group faced fluctuations in its total income but managed to keep its business
profitable, with total expenses averaging around 93% of its Total Income. In terms of growth, the
company is expected to grow at a slower pace, 2,4% in 2012 due to the variety of cataclysms faced
throughout the year. In coming years however, the strong Real GDP growth of 5,5% in the emerging
markets (representing close to 50% of company s clients), a steady growth of 3,22% is to be expected.
The growing revenues however do not seem to have large impact on the total expenses: the third
quarter interim report for 2012 shows lowering expenses, totaling to 91% for 2012. In the coming
years however, the rising number of cataclysms and the stagnating economic environment in Europe
will most probably increase slightly those numbers and a 93%, a number in line with the incremental
changes for the past years. (Appendix 4)

Banks have been at the forefront of the financial system for as long as they have existed and have

At face value one would conclude that JPM officials did so because they had gains from such inaction.
It was discovered that the current Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Jamie Dimon and twelve other
current and former executives and directors knew about the Bernard Madoff ponzi scheme but failed
to disclose this information. As Board of Directors and Executives it was within their primary job
description to maximize the profits of the company thereby reaping higher returns for their
shareholders. So one might assume their inaction was for the benefit of shareholders and much to the
detriment of the unfortunate Madoff victims.
To combat this assumption it turns out large amounts of money of the value of $300million was
invested in Bernard Madoff accounts in the form of pension funds. Some officials knew that the
unscathed performance of Madoff securities were too good to be true as their prices consistently
climbed up in spite the financial crisis. However, still they pawned its own shareholders funds with the
hopes of jumping on the same band wagon as Madoff and reaping further profits. Another angle at
probing the case was that the CEO, directors as well as executives were only looking out for
themselves. Evidently they had direct benefits in the form of handsome compensation packages for
retaining high profile clients such as Madoff and Wise which

Cultural Eutrophication
Eutrophication, the enrichment of aquatic environments with excess nutrients, is a naturally occurring
phenomenon characterized by excessive plant and algae growth. Eutrophication initially increases
productivity and limits light penetration, and subsequently results in reduced growth, depleted
inorganic carbon, and anoxic dead zones (Chislock, Doster, Zitomer, Wilson, 2013). Historically,
primary productivity has been considered limited by an individual nutrient (Gooddy et al., 2016).
Schindler (1974) established the highly influential paradigm that phosphorus (P) is generally
considered limiting in freshwater environments. However, this has been subject to debate by evidence
of freshwater nitrogen (N) limitation, N/P co limitation, and the role of spatial and temporal variation
(Xu, Paerl, Qin, Zhu, Gao, 2010; Hundey, Moser, Longstaffe, Michelutti, Hladyniuk, 2014) Cultural
eutrophication, resulting from anthropogenic nutrient pollution, and has increased in both frequency
and intensity over the past century due to intensification of agriculture, industry and sewage disposal
(Schindler, 1974). The causes and consequences of eutrophication are important to study because of
the resulting direct and indirect effects on ecosystems alongside societal impacts (Chrislock et al.,
2013). Further, the importance of this research should be emphasized in the context of climate change,
human population growth and the associated environmental consequences of the 21st century.

How Is George Patton Successful
General George Smith Patton {Good} Old Blood and Guts
The great General George Smith Patton said that A good solution applied with vigor now is better than

George Smith Patton always had a lifelong interest in the military and war. Patton was born on the

The Financial Sector Is A Crucial Part Of Society s...
The financial sector is a crucial part of society s critical infrastructure. Commerce drives our daily
functions in acquiring necessities as well as desires. The debate for what is a necessity versus desire is
not my point, but the reliance we have on the financial sector in order to function is. Since the days of
bartering have been replaced with a monetary system in addition to technological advances, we have
become as dependent upon the financial system as we are on oxygen. Accumulation of wealth has
always been a driving factor since the financial system s inception. In the past, bank robberies were
the major concern as such notorious robbers as Jessie James along with Bonnie and Clyde were
infamous for their robbing sprees. However, today s bank robberies are less likely to be done in the
physical nature with advances in technology. Malware plus Spyware are now the threat to financial
security in personal and commercial capacities.
The financial sector has experienced enormous change over the past few decades. Evaluating the
changes that have transpired over the last 40 years is amazing. Transformation of the industry began in
the 1970 s when the Federal Reserve announced the U.S. dollar was moving away from the gold
standard and has culminated today with the latest technological applications. Henceforth, the ways
financial transactions take place have forever changed (López, Setola, Wolthusen, 2012, p. 300 302).
Justifiably, the financial

Abilities Measured by Psychometric Tests
Abilities measured by psychometric tests Verbal comprehension is an essential component of many
occupations, such as being employed as an entry level writer or editor for a publication. One
psychometric test used to measure verbal comprehension and logic is the Miller Analogies Test

employees verbal abilities. It is a high level test of analytical ability that requires the solution of
problems stated as analogies. The MAT consists of 120 partial analogies that are to be completed in 60
minutes. The test measures your ability to recognize relationships between ideas, your fluency in the
English language, and your general knowledge of the humanities, natural sciences, mathematics, and

Poetic Devices In The Raven
The poem I decided to explicate was The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. The reason I chose this poem is
because I love Edgar Allen Poe s writings. I have always loved reading his dark and twisted poems,
even when I was younger in middle school his poems always got my attention the most. I had never
read The Raven until now, but I am familiar with some of his others like The Tell Tale Heart. I did
really enjoy reading The Raven , the actual raven was a little creepy, but I also like to read poems with
elements like that. In the first stanza there are two types of poetic devices used, one of them is the use
of alliteration which is found very prominent throughout the entire poem. Some uses of alliteration
that are found in the first stanza are while I pondered, weak and weary or while I nodded, nearly
napping, suddenly there came a tapping,/ as of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door.
The whole first stanza is pretty much an example alliteration because of how every word starts with
the same letter or sounds closely alike. Then the second type of poetic device used was the use of
foreshadowing. Poe uses foreshadowing when says there is a visitor tapping on his door as if
something bad is going to happen. In the second stanza Poe still uses alliteration, though not as
strongly as in the first stanza. Some examples of alliteration used in the second stanza were found in
the lines, Eagerly I wished the morrow; vainly I had sought to borrow from my books

Questions On Parliamentary Sovereignty Of The Uk...
Module: Law

The development of the EU has slowly eroded the sovereignty of the UK Parliament
Student Number: 1546031
Word Count:
Parliamentary Sovereignty is the concept that Parliament is the supreme legal authority in the United
Kingdom. Kellerman, M. G. (2011) argues that since the United Kingdom unlike most other countries
does not have a codified constitution to restrict the powers of the Parliament, the main check on power
of the British Parliament is the sovereignty of the future parliaments. The European Union has been
growing since its establishment and its growth has been considered a threat to the Parliamentary
Sovereignty of the UK, since their joining of the EU in 1973. This essay will showcase the treaties,
institutions, cases, and acts that have eroded the sovereignty of the UK Parliament and will conclude
that the development of the EU will only further reduce the power of Parliamentary Sovereignty as
long as the United Kingdom stays a member of the EU.
Britain has sacrificed power to treaties since the end of World War 2 in order for better relations with
foreign countries, these treaties and others developed into what is now known as the European Union.
Perhaps the most significant of these treaties is the Treaty of Rome (1957). The UK conceded to this
treaty in 1972 and for the first time European Law was given power in the UK through an act of the

Essay On Richard Jury
Richard Jury is the fictional lead in the Richard Jury series of novels by bestselling American mystery
thriller writer Martha Grimes. Grimes wrote the first novel featuring the lead character Jury titled The

Richard Jury the chief protagonist is a Scotland Yard detective who starts out in the rank of chief

though hypochondriacal servant, and a British aristocrat named Melrose Plant who has relinquished
his titles to work on a range of investigative mysteries. In addition to several recurring characters,

frequent appearances.
The Man with a Load of Mischief, the first novel in the series opens to the body of a man discovered

Sects Vs Cults
There are different types of groups that you can branch off of your religion, there are sects and cults. A
sect is a group of people with some different religious beliefs from the group larger to where they
actually belong, like a Church. A Cult is usually a small group of people who have religious beliefs
and practices observed by others as bizarre. A cult is founded by a powerful leader also known as a
charismatic. Sects have a high degree of pressure with the surrounding society unlike churches.
Sect determines from the Latin word secta which is characterized as school of thought . It too comes
from the English dialect from the Old French secte which is alluded to as a particular framework of
convictions. While a cult is a completely different interpretation. Cult comes from a Latin word cultus
which implies labor, adore, veneration, or culture . It too entered the English dialect through the
French word culte which is characterized as specific form of worship . At that point later on in the
English dialect it came to mean devotion to an individual or thing . ... Show more content on

Operation Oluja Essay
Effects and Results of Oluja
Operation Oluja is the largest military operation in Croatian history, as well as a decisive turning point
in the overall conflict on the territory of former Yugoslavia. With Operation Oluja around 14 % of the
total territory of the Republic of Croatia was liberated. Its ending and results marked the collapse of
the Greater Serbia idea of uniting all Serbian countries in former Yugoslavia and the creation of
Greater Serbia. It changed the strategic force ratio in the region, which directly influenced the bringing
of the Serbs to the negotiating table. It took the change of the strategic situation, which had been
brought about by Croatian military successes, to create the conditions for the implementation of US
led peacekeeping initiatives of USA, Germany, France, Great Britain and Russia , as well as for the
signing of the Dayton Agreement and a complete cessation of military operations in Croatia and BiH.
Operation Oluja inflicted a total defeat on the SVK, while the VRS was de facto on the verge of
collapse. By unblocking the Bihać enclave in western Bosnia, Oluja relieved the forces of the 5th
Corps of ARBiH from the complete encirclement and facilitated its engagement on other territories in

back then. In it she spoke about the trees and little but pleasant breezes until November . (Mary

pleasures that Shepardson got from nature is are rare to find now. Poway is no longer a quaint little

Latin American Imperialism
During the late nineteenth century, liberals hoped to establish Latin America on a global scale by
modeling Europe and the United States. As a result, certain Latin American countries were able to
modernize itself. They had metropolises, telephones, and railroads. Urbanization granted Latin
America the ability to export tons of sugar, coffee, rubber, bananas, tobacco, and other goods. Latin
America s massive export in goods during the 1880s led to what was known as the Great Export
Boom. This was the first time Latin America entered the global market; although this was a great
achievement, Latin American citizens were being exploited for their labor. As a result, exploitation of
Latin America established a new era referred as Neocolonialism. Today, it no longer had the
momentum to achieve economic prosperity as it once did before World War II; in addition, Latin
American countries are now classified as developing countries due to social and political conflict
deeply rooted in its society. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Derivative Is A Complex Subject Of Calculus
Derivative is a complex subject of calculus. In calculus, derivative is a key term developed by both
Newton and Leibniz. With function f (t), the first derivative is defined asf^ (t)= df/dt= lim┬(h→0)⁡
〖(f(t) f(t h))/h〗. There is also a second derivative known as second order derivative. The second
order derivative is defined: f^ (t)= (d^2 f)/(dt^2 )= lim┬(h→0)⁡
〖(f^ (t) f^ (t h))/h〗

However, early mathematicians solved these questions with what later became known as derivative.
Derivative has developed or created the ideas of extrema, tangent, and limit (Anderson, Katz, and
Wilson, 2004). Derivative contributed towards the mathematical world from an early stage to the
development of other rules. Derivative was mentioned early in the 1660 s to develop new methods and
rules. Many of the methods known today and that have been developed over the years all derived
because of the use of derivative. Derivative supports the evidence of many proofs such as extreme,
tangent, and limit. Newton and Leibniz both saw derivative in a different way. Newton and Leibniz
both created calculus separately, as in Newton and Leibniz were not working together for the creation
of calculus. They both created or invented calculus by the development of derivative. For example, in
the first step of creating calculus, Newton and Leibniz took the idea and concepts of derivative and
integral. The general concepts of derivative and integral came from the methods for finding tangents,
extrema, and area. The general concept of derivative and integral came from the methods of finding
other solutions. Another invention they came across while inventing calculus was the notation to solve
the concepts of derivative and

Advantages And Disadvantages Of Dispute Resolution
CHAPTER II
ARBITRATION OF INTERNATIONAL COMMERCIAL DISPUTES
2.1 Introduction
?The realisation, in the words of Lord Simon of Glaisdale, that litigation, while certainly preferable to
personal violence is not in itself an intrinsically desirable activity, has encouraged the search for other
methods of dispute resolution each of which has attracted it adherents and enthusiasts. One of the
oldest and best established of these systems is that of arbitration.?[footnoteRef:1] [1: Galway City
Council v Samuel Kingston Construction Ltd [2010] 3 IR 95. O?Donnell J]
There has been a wide range of debate to create a more expeditious dispute resolution method for
settling commercial disputes amongst businessmen and lawyers who are involved with international
trade across national borders.[footnoteRef:2] Until recently, commercial courts were congested due to
the number of commercial disputes pending before them. There was a need for other dispute
resolution methods to bridge this gap, expedite matters and to promote business transactions.
Arbitration, mediation and conciliation were adopted by states to supplement the normal court system.
However, we are yet to reach that point where one can boldly say that, the alternative dispute
resolution methods to the courts are expedient. [2: Herbert Buston, ?Arbitration of International

DISCUSSION
The objective of this study is to examine the differences between the vegan and omnivore diet and to
study the relationship of these diets to body composition, blood lipids, and the serum hormones
vitamin D and parathyroid hormone. As seen previously, those eating an omnivore diet consumed
significantly more dietary protein than those consuming a vegan diet (2; 3). The values we observed
for dietary protein in both the vegan and the omnivore groups were similar to those seen by Hadded et
al. (3) and Janelle and Barr (2). The women in our study eating an omnivore diet exceeded the RDA
for protein. In contrast to other studies of vegetarians and vegans, our ... Show more content on

We found no significant difference between the two diet groups in the serum vitamin D levels. A study
of vegan women in Finland found vegans to be deficient in vitamin D intake without supplements or
adequate sunlight exposure through vacations in sunny locations (12). The vegan women in our study
had adequate serum vitamin D levels, which may be the result of 1) incorporating enough vitamin D
in their diets possibly using fortified foods and supplements; 2) they were exposed to adequate
sunlight or 3) a combination of both.
Although reviews of the vegetarian diet (5; 13) warn that deficiencies in several micronutrients are
possible, the only marginal nutrient we found in the vegan group is calcium intake. There are several
possible reasons for this difference. Vegans may be more health conscious, physically more active,
and have a greater understanding of the role of nutrition in general health. As a result, they may also
consume more supplements. Another contributing factor may be the recent increase in commercially
available foods fortified with a wide variety of vitamins and minerals that may lead to higher levels of
intake when whole diets are examined. These results may be somewhat biased compared to the
general population because we studied young adult college women primarily. Another possible
confounding factor is the

Euthyphro Paradox Essay
Jeremy Jones
Professor Edwards
Philosophy 102
4 December 2015
The Euthyphro Paradox
Socrates is said to be one of the wisest man who ever lived. Even in the book, The Trial and Death of
Socrates, the Oracle of Delphi even said that no man is wiser than Socrates. Although that statement in
itself can be dissected and analyzed, the main focus at hand is that of line 10a of the Euthyphro. In this
passage, Socrates presents to Euthyphro what is known even to this day as the Euthyphro Paradox .
For someone unfamiliar with the current situation in the Euthyphro, it is probably best to summarize
and explained this particular passage. Not only will explaining the dialogue shed light to the passage
but it will also help explain the Euthyphro Paradox. To begin with, Euthyphro and Socrates both meet
each other in Athens in front of the court house. They ended up starting a conversation. They come to
learn why the other is there. Euthyphro is there because he is convicting his father for murdering one
of his servants. Socrates is there because Meletus is convicting him for being impious and corrupting
the youth. Socrates begins by questioning ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Socrates than decides to ask Euthyphro if he knows what being pious means. Euthyphro answers by
saying that piety is his actions. This means in a sense that by convicting his father of murder he is
being pious. However Socrates is not satisfied with Euthyphro s answer because this is an example of
being pious and not the definition. To Socrates, Euthyphro seems to understand the difference between
being pious and impious because he knows that murder is wrong. So he then asks, Is the pious being
loved by the gods because it is pious, or is it pious because it is being loved by the gods (Grube 11)?
Essentially another way of saying this would be, God loves something because it is good or

Poverty And The Effects Of Poverty
As a community guided by God, the Catholic Church is continually challenging its members and other
global communities to unite through charity, justice and subsidiarity to improve the livelihood of those
supressed by poverty. By definition, such poverty is detrimental to human rights outlined in the
Catholic Social Teachings (CSTs), and consequently, the Church has sought immediate aid for these
people. Due to the cyclical nature of poverty, actions of justice are also being encouraged to sustain its
reversal. Ideologies of benefactor supremacy aim to be inhibited through humility and the
implementation of citizen led strategies to eradicate poverty. However, the human nature presents
recurrent barriers, deterring the success of social ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
These three principles decide the approach of the Church in the goal of poverty eradication.
Social justice begins with charity. Charity or the love [of] God above all things for his own sake, and
our neighbour as ourselves for the love of God (CCC 1822) calls Catholics to prioritise the needs of
the poor over those of the able to preserve dignity and protect life. Hence, charity is an enactment of
social justice. The invincibility of poverty stems from its ability to self propagate (Townsend 1979).
As a result, charity makes a worthy opponent as love grows through love (DCE 18) mimicking this
source of power. In addition, charity embraces truth (CIV 1) which supports education, the central
aspect of poverty reduction (Awan et.al. 2011; Cleveland 2014). From an academic perspective, above
all, the economic plight of the poor must be addressed to prevent human suffering. Maslow s
hierarchy of needs indicates that opportunity is debilitated (and poverty is induced) primarily when
physiological needs are withdrawn (Maslow 1943), justifying economic poverty to be the single most
urgent ... claim on the conscience (EJFA 86). Such warrants the inaction of financial relief (i.e.
mainstream charity) which the church has been involved in as the largest charitable organisation
(Regnerus 1998), contributing approximately six billion dollars annually (Paton 2017). Since God is

Tutor: Lynley McLay
Lab Time: Tuesday 3.10 5pm, 404A
Abstract
This investigation aimed to determine whether or not primary psychopathy and diminished cognitive
empathy, and secondary psychopathy and diminished cognitive empathy are correlated. A correlational
design, in which 452 participants from the PSYC121 class were administered Levenson, Kiehl
Fitzpatrick s (1995) Self Report Psychopathy Scale (LSRP) and Baron Cohen, Wheelwright, Jolliffe s
(1997) Reading the Mind in the Eyes Test (RMET), was employed. Results indicated a significant
negative correlation between primary psychopathy and diminished cognitive empathy, however
secondary psychopathy and diminished cognitive empathy were not significantly correlated. It was
concluded that there is a significant difference between primary and secondary psychopathy.
An Investigation of the Correlation Between Psychopathy Subtypes and Cognitive Empathy Several
studies have investigated psychopathy subtypes and cognitive empathy (Levenson, Kiehl Fitzpatrick,
1995; Ali Chamorro Premuzic, 2010; Richell et al., 2003). Psychopathy can be split into two subtypes,
primary and secondary. Both are associated with hostility, impulsivity, and aggression, however the

ties into the film because each of the three of the personas start off with the smile but is soon stripped
from them for whatever reason.
The cycle first starts off with the persona of Maria. In the beginning of the film she is shown walking
down the street casually talking to the fruit seller, also known as the fiancé, René. As Maria is taking

When she says she is scared, she is seen in a spaghetti strap black dress wearing a crucifix around her
neck. The black dress could be a reference to the fact that her innocence has died along with her
personality and identity. As Jim leaves he gives Maria money in exchange for her crucifix, now she
has not only lost the last piece of her personality and but the last ounce of innocence she had. One
reason that Maria would be scared is due to the fact that she has two personalities, one of which is
kept on the down low. The personality kept under locks is the one that is referred to as Betty the club
worker, possibly prostitute. The choice of the name Betty as Maria s stage name probably wasn t at
random. In the late 1920 s into the 1930 s Betty Boop was created to represent flapper girls. Flappers
were young girls who had yet to enter womanhood. They embraced their free spirit and had many
uncontrolled acts of fun with treating sex as something casual. After Maria and Jim have sex and after
she is caught by her fiancé she just lays there totally emotionless. The emotionless face she give could
be a sign of the fact the sex didn t mean anything.

On War Vs Vietnam War
War is not an independent phenomenon, but the continuation of politics by other mean
Writing about war nearly two centuries ago, Clausewitz did not attempt to derive a prescriptive theory
of warfare. He sought to identify universal truths about the phenomenon of war even as he emphasized
its dynamic and unpredictable nature. He understood that even as war s character and conduct
continues to evolve, the nature of war does not. Considered the chief military theorist of the western
world, his theories have withstood the test of time and are still adequate for explaining warfare in the
modern era.
His most famous premise is that war is merely the continuation of policy by other means . Clausewitz
s reference to war as an expression of politics ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Once identified, all energies are to be directed against it. He uses COG to enable the employment of
force and understanding of the enemy s conduct in war. Destroying the enemy s COG would render
the enemy powerless. Clausewitz believed that the first task in planning a campaign was to identify
the enemy s center of gravity (COG). He warns his readers that the failure to identify the COG
correctly could lead to faulty assumptions leading to wasted time /resources and an increase in risk.
We can relate this directly to what we know as operational art today and balancing ends, ways, and

Anne Frank Generalized Anxiety Disorder
Parents can only give good advice or put them on the right paths, but the final forming of a person s
character lies in their own hands , Anne Frank. Much like Jacqueline s parents, they guide her to a
certain point and then observe the person she grows into. Jackie was a bubbly baby girl and then she
grew into a playful toddler and now she is a teenager looking to make a difference. Jackie built her
personality based on how she was raised. Her parents notice this and tried their hardest to understand
her and raise her into an intelligent, altruistic person. Through the journey of becoming an
independent adult, Jackie acquires characteristics such as compassionate altruism, tenacity, and
anxiety. Jackie has engaged in many moral defining ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Jackie s parents did not have the prior knowledge of the behavior and often saw it as a form of acting
out. Eventually, her parents are informed that it is Generalized Anxiety Disorder by a white coat, and
the website of the ADAA (Anxiety Depression Association of America) informs that when their
anxiety level is mild, people with GAD can function socially... Although they may avoid some
situations because they have the disorder, some people can have difficulty carrying out the simplest
daily activities when their anxiety is severe . Jackie showed that she is strong and capable of handling
the disorder. Jackie s tendencies of waking up multiple times in the night to make sure the doors are
locked, lights are off, and the A/C is on an exact temperature are considered normal at home. Jackie
has learned to control and calm herself down when she is subjected to a panic attack and practices her
breathing exercises daily. Her mother usually ignores the anxious behavior and treats her normally
instead of having every little thing said to her sugarcoated. This drastically helped Jackie with
handling stressful situations outside of her home, but still faces awful occurrences. There is still hope
Jackie will be able to change and the shackles of worry will release her before she leaves to build her

Hitler s Rise To Power Essay
Hitler s Rise To Power
The Antichrist is...a man with white skin, in everyday clothes, dangerously contemporary, and a
mighty demagogue...The great Russian philosopher Soloviev described him. The Antichrist does not
look like he is, and therein precisely lies the danger. He is a young man with a strong personality and
seductive power of speech and writing...He will win fame first by book...then, in Berlin, he will be
come ruler of the United States of Europe; he will conquer Asia; America will submit to him
voluntarily. He is an absolute genius, and he may, says Soloviev, wear a small mustache.1
Adolf Hitler was a failed artist who rose to rule Germany as a dictator from 1933 1945. Due to his
racial hatred, approximately eleven million ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In September of 1907, Hitler went to Vienna, with hopes of attending art school. Upon learning that
his mother was dying of cancer, he went back home. When she died on December 20, 1907, Hitler
went back to Vienna to return to his dream of becoming an artist. However, twice the art school
rejected him, which is something that he would never forget. In his misery Adolf Hitler began to learn
things other than art. He learned to hate. 4 He became curious about Jews and began to read about
them. He started to believe some of the anti semetic ideas he was reading about. He began to believe
that the Aryans were superior and the Jews were responsible for his failure as an artist. He vowed that
they would pay for his humiliation. From age nineteen to twenty four, Hitler lived as a vagrant on the
streets of Vienna, and refused regular work. He began to hate all of humanity. In 1913 he moved to
Munich, where he still refused regular work, but was hardly broke. In fact, he had the income of a
provincial lawyer from odd jobs and from selling paintings.5
How did such a maladjusted individual rise to power in the German government? Hitler hated the
treaty of Versailles. He thought it made his government vulnerable to revolts allowing an army of only
100,000 men. He wanted to punish the makers of the treaty and decided to become involved with
politics. He joined the

Rent Control
Governments set price controls in an attempt to solve social problems such as income inequality
leading to housing issues. Rent control is a law placing a maximum price, or a rent ceiling, on what
landlords can charge their tenants for renting out their properties (Block, 2008). The maximum price is
set so that there is affordable housing for lower income groups, meaning they are not priced out of the
market. In addition, this control would attempt to correct market inefficiencies. Tenants could be
pressured by landlords to accept rent increases as it is difficult and expensive to move, or because they
have complained, for example (Cruz, 2009). Without the price ceiling policy, the market would be in
equilibrium at price Pe and quantity Qe, as ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This can be used to portray the differences between short and long run quantity supplied in relation to
rent controls. As the price falls from p1 to p3, there is only a small change in the number of rental
houses supplied, from q1 to q3. This is due to the fact that in the short run there are fixed factors, such
as capital, that limit the ability to change. Whereas in the long run, these factors are flexible and
therefore there is a greater reduction of rental housing from q1 to q2, even with a smaller price
reduction from p1 to p2. As seen in Figure 1, and mentioned earlier, as a result of the price ceiling,
there is a less efficient allocation of scarce resources and an even higher demand for these resources
than before, creating a shortage of rental housing. This shortage brings several issues. Firstly, by
setting a price ceiling, the market cannot be in equilibrium in the short run as demand cannot equal
supply. In terms of welfare, less people would be provided with housing they demand at the given
price, compared to everyone receiving housing who demands it at the given price in a natural

  • 2. Analysis Of The Poem The Golden Sunshine In a bright morning, the sun shone through the window in my bedroom, quietly. The golden sunshine, brings me a sense of freshness, comfort and happiness. After half day of paper work, in the afternoon I slowly came to the woods that situated not far away from home. Perhaps because the noon drizzle, the air became fresh and sweet, filled with a touch of grass and the fragrance of wild flowers. In the wood, the green leaves of these ancient pagoda tree brings a trace of coolness after the breeze passing by. I walk on the earth, the green grass is so delicate, like the famous artist Spring try to make more people understand that spring is coming; with her most precious color rendering of this vast expanse of grassland, emerges a thriving scene. Chirps in the peaceful forest, who is whistling? I guessed right, is the robin who fly around the bright blue sky; probably beside it is the lady robin he like. Beautiful rhymes, like spring water flow out. At this sweet moment, I think the chirps is better than all the music in our world. Apart from the bird call, these agile squirrels and rabbits passing the branches cheerfully; the beauty butterflies play in between the flowers and the bees are busy gathering nectar for the delicious honey. I sat on the grass, greedily breath in the mellow soil, and at this point, my mind emerged the night last winter when I was passing this forest on the way home...... Social Exchange Theory Theories Of Relationship Theories Of Relationship [Document Title] [Document Title] Elizabeth Wiwoloku Elizabeth Wiwoloku Introduction There are two main theories applied to relationships, Social Exchange Theory and Equity Theory underpin commonly used behavioural therapies such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, Enhanced Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Integrative Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. More recent studies in neuroscience and behavior and the importance of language have led to the development of Relational Frame Theory and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as an alternative approach. In this essay I will outline the relationship models comparing and contrasting them Social exchange theory Social exchange theory analyses ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Simpson et al. found that participants in existing relationships rated people of the opposite sex as less attractive than participants not in relationships. This suggests that people judge prospects of new alternative relationships as less profitable if they are already in a committed relationship. The CLA may provide an explanation as to why many women choose to stay in abusive relationships. If investments in the relationship are high (e.g. children, financial security) amp; alternative prospects are bleak (e.g. poverty, homelessness), then a woman may see staying in the abusive relationship to be more profitable than leaving it. Blau (1977) argued that interactions are expensive , as they take time, energy and commitment and may involve unpleasant emotions and experiences. Therefore what we get out of a relationship must exceed what goes in. Rusbult found that costs and rewards from a relationship were weighed up in comparison to possible alternative relationships when deciding whether they should be maintained which supports that social exchange models idea that people assess rewards by making comparisons. Walster et al believed that social interactions involve an exchange of rewards, like affection, information, status. The degree of attraction or liking reflects how people evaluate the rewards they receive in relative to those given. Costs of being in a relationship may be effort, money spent, time spent, or low self esteem, whilst the rewards may be pleasure, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

These words describe a few of the characters in the show Once Upon a Time. Once Upon a Time is on ABC and it is my favorite TV show! I am currently watching the fifth season of it. There are many ways that make this show my favorite. If you are a person who likes fairy tales, especially when you were little, you will enjoy it because it is the same stories but with a twist and with more drama that teenagers will enjoy. This is why I like Once Upon a Time because I loved watching and reading about these fairy tales when I was younger and now, with Once Upon a Time, I find these stories even more exciting and with a lot more drama. It is also filled with action, romance and humor. I love Once Upon a Time because of its characters, setting and plot. The first reason I enjoy this show is because of the characters. There are a lot of characters in this show. These characters can also get hard to keep track of because many of them will be brought back in a later season. Almost all of the characters have two names because there are two worlds that they can be in and keeping track of it is hard at times. • 7. Managing Information Security Risk Of A Cyber Attack Next, AAE will use the NIST SP 800 39: Managing Information Security Risk to generate a response for each risk. Note that three of the risks are global risks; the data breach, terrorist, and rising fuel prices risks all stem from AAE s global marketplace activities. According to the SP 800 39, AAE could utilize one of five strategies to respond to risk. It could choose to: 1) accept risks, 2) avoid risks, 3) transfer/share the risks, 4) mitigate the risks, or 5) avoid the risks. Following are the responses and strategies generated by the register: Risk 1 Cyber Attack (Global_1): Mitigate C3J recommends AAE to use the defense in depth approach to security to mitigate the risk of a cyber attack. Essentially, defense in depth involves employing multiple security systems to protect company data. The concept works on the premise that if one system fails, another will be in place to protect the data. Examples of defense in depth safeguards include using encryption to protect data confidentiality, implementing solutions to detect an attack, implementing solutions to backup and recover data, managing log files, and implementing a strong security awareness program. If a breach occurs the Director of IT will notify the Executive Director and any affected parties before activating the AAE incident response plan (IRP). After making it through two states worth of driving 20 mph in a snow storm we were a bit behind schedule in meeting our friend at his place in Florida. However, we were still much ahead of the rest of our group who had just left Indiana. As we entered the sunshine state we called Jake to see where we needed to go from there. He gave us some directions as he took shots in a bar which made us skeptical as to how accurate his directions were in the first place. Although we were unsure of the accuracy of the directions given to us by our drunken friend we took the roads we were told to take. Unfortunately, our fears came to life when we wound up 2 hours in the complete opposite direction of where we needed to be. At this point, it was 4 a.m. Jake was sure he had told us to go the other way of what he had told us. Even to this day he swears he told us the right way we just turned the opposite direction. Our only option was to turn around and drive back 4 hours the way we came to get to his house to get some shut eye. We made great time getting back on track and arriving in Jakes town. As Board of Directors and Executives it was within their primary job description to maximize the profits of the company thereby reaping higher returns for their shareholders. Some officials knew that the unscathed performance of Madoff securities were too good to be true as their prices consistently climbed up in spite the financial crisis. Eutrophication initially increases productivity and limits light penetration, and subsequently results in reduced growth, depleted inorganic carbon, and anoxic dead zones (Chislock, Doster, Zitomer, Wilson, 2013). Historically, primary productivity has been considered limited by an individual nutrient (Gooddy et al., 2016). Schindler (1974) established the highly influential paradigm that phosphorus (P) is generally considered limiting in freshwater environments. However, this has been subject to debate by evidence of freshwater nitrogen (N) limitation, N/P co limitation, and the role of spatial and temporal variation (Xu, Paerl, Qin, Zhu, Gao, 2010; Hundey, Moser, Longstaffe, Michelutti, Hladyniuk, 2014) Cultural eutrophication, resulting from anthropogenic nutrient pollution, and has increased in both frequency and intensity over the past century due to intensification of agriculture, industry and sewage disposal (Schindler, 1974). The causes and consequences of eutrophication are important to study because of the resulting direct and indirect effects on ecosystems alongside societal impacts (Chrislock et al., 2013). Commerce drives our daily functions in acquiring necessities as well as desires. The debate for what is a necessity versus desire is not my point, but the reliance we have on the financial sector in order to function is. Since the days of bartering have been replaced with a monetary system in addition to technological advances, we have become as dependent upon the financial system as we are on oxygen. Accumulation of wealth has always been a driving factor since the financial system s inception. • 25. Poetic Devices In The Raven The poem I decided to explicate was The Raven by Edgar Allen Poe. The reason I chose this poem is because I love Edgar Allen Poe s writings. I have always loved reading his dark and twisted poems, even when I was younger in middle school his poems always got my attention the most. I had never read The Raven until now, but I am familiar with some of his others like The Tell Tale Heart. I did really enjoy reading The Raven , the actual raven was a little creepy, but I also like to read poems with elements like that. In the first stanza there are two types of poetic devices used, one of them is the use of alliteration which is found very prominent throughout the entire poem. Some uses of alliteration that are found in the first stanza are while I pondered, weak and weary or while I nodded, nearly napping, suddenly there came a tapping,/ as of some one gently rapping, rapping at my chamber door. The whole first stanza is pretty much an example alliteration because of how every word starts with the same letter or sounds closely alike. Then the second type of poetic device used was the use of foreshadowing. Poe uses foreshadowing when says there is a visitor tapping on his door as if something bad is going to happen. In the second stanza Poe still uses alliteration, though not as strongly as in the first stanza. Some examples of alliteration used in the second stanza were found in the lines, Eagerly I wished the morrow; vainly I had sought to borrow from my books ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 26. Questions On Parliamentary Sovereignty Of The Uk... Module: Law Component: assignment 2 Percentage of final module grade: 20% The development of the EU has slowly eroded the sovereignty of the UK Parliament Student Number: 1546031 Word Count: Parliamentary Sovereignty is the concept that Parliament is the supreme legal authority in the United Kingdom. Kellerman, M. G. (2011) argues that since the United Kingdom unlike most other countries does not have a codified constitution to restrict the powers of the Parliament, the main check on power of the British Parliament is the sovereignty of the future parliaments. The European Union has been growing since its establishment and its growth has been considered a threat to the Parliamentary Sovereignty of the UK, since their joining of the EU in 1973. This essay will showcase the treaties, institutions, cases, and acts that have eroded the sovereignty of the UK Parliament and will conclude that the development of the EU will only further reduce the power of Parliamentary Sovereignty as long as the United Kingdom stays a member of the EU. Britain has sacrificed power to treaties since the end of World War 2 in order for better relations with foreign countries, these treaties and others developed into what is now known as the European Union. Perhaps the most significant of these treaties is the Treaty of Rome (1957). The UK conceded to this treaty in 1972 and for the first time European Law was given power in the UK through an act of the UK ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

A sect is a group of people with some different religious beliefs from the group larger to where they actually belong, like a Church. Operation Oluja Essay Effects and Results of Oluja Operation Oluja is the largest military operation in Croatian history, as well as a decisive turning point in the overall conflict on the territory of former Yugoslavia. With Operation Oluja around 14 % of the total territory of the Republic of Croatia was liberated. Its ending and results marked the collapse of the Greater Serbia idea of uniting all Serbian countries in former Yugoslavia and the creation of Greater Serbia. It changed the strategic force ratio in the region, which directly influenced the bringing of the Serbs to the negotiating table. It took the change of the strategic situation, which had been brought about by Croatian military successes, to create the conditions for the implementation of US led peacekeeping initiatives of USA, Germany, France, Great Britain and Russia , as well as for the signing of the Dayton Agreement and a complete cessation of military operations in Croatia and BiH. Operation Oluja inflicted a total defeat on the SVK, while the VRS was de facto on the verge of collapse. Latin America s massive export in goods during the 1880s led to what was known as the Great Export Boom. This was the first time Latin America entered the global market; although this was a great achievement, Latin American citizens were being exploited for their labor. As a result, exploitation of Latin America established a new era referred as Neocolonialism. Many of the methods known today and that have been developed over the years all derived because of the use of derivative. Derivative supports the evidence of many proofs such as extreme, tangent, and limit. Newton and Leibniz both saw derivative in a different way. Newton and Leibniz both created calculus separately, as in Newton and Leibniz were not working together for the creation of calculus. They both created or invented calculus by the development of derivative. For example, in the first step of creating calculus, Newton and Leibniz took the idea and concepts of derivative and integral. One of the oldest and best established of these systems is that of arbitration.?[footnoteRef:1] [1: Galway City Council v Samuel Kingston Construction Ltd [2010] 3 IR 95. There was a need for other dispute resolution methods to bridge this gap, expedite matters and to promote business transactions. Arbitration, mediation and conciliation were adopted by states to supplement the normal court system. However, we are yet to reach that point where one can boldly say that, the alternative dispute resolution methods to the courts are expedient. A study of vegan women in Finland found vegans to be deficient in vitamin D intake without supplements or adequate sunlight exposure through vacations in sunny locations (12). Although reviews of the vegetarian diet (5; 13) warn that deficiencies in several micronutrients are possible, the only marginal nutrient we found in the vegan group is calcium intake. There are several possible reasons for this difference. Vegans may be more health conscious, physically more active, and have a greater understanding of the role of nutrition in general health. As a result, they may also consume more supplements. Another contributing factor may be the recent increase in commercially available foods fortified with a wide variety of vitamins and minerals that may lead to higher levels of intake when whole diets are examined. Even in the book, The Trial and Death of Socrates, the Oracle of Delphi even said that no man is wiser than Socrates. Although that statement in itself can be dissected and analyzed, the main focus at hand is that of line 10a of the Euthyphro. In this passage, Socrates presents to Euthyphro what is known even to this day as the Euthyphro Paradox . For someone unfamiliar with the current situation in the Euthyphro, it is probably best to summarize and explained this particular passage. Not only will explaining the dialogue shed light to the passage but it will also help explain the Euthyphro Paradox. To begin with, Euthyphro and Socrates both meet each other in Athens in front of the court house. They ended up starting a conversation. They come to learn why the other is there. To Socrates, Euthyphro seems to understand the difference between being pious and impious because he knows that murder is wrong. So he then asks, Is the pious being loved by the gods because it is pious, or is it pious because it is being loved by the gods (Grube 11)? These three principles decide the approach of the Church in the goal of poverty eradication. Social justice begins with charity. Charity or the love [of] God above all things for his own sake, and our neighbour as ourselves for the love of God (CCC 1822) calls Catholics to prioritise the needs of the poor over those of the able to preserve dignity and protect life. Hence, charity is an enactment of social justice. The invincibility of poverty stems from its ability to self propagate (Townsend 1979). As a result, charity makes a worthy opponent as love grows through love (DCE 18) mimicking this source of power. In addition, charity embraces truth (CIV 1) which supports education, the central aspect of poverty reduction (Awan et.al. 2011; Cleveland 2014). From an academic perspective, above all, the economic plight of the poor must be addressed to prevent human suffering. Maslow s hierarchy of needs indicates that opportunity is debilitated (and poverty is induced) primarily when physiological needs are withdrawn (Maslow 1943), justifying economic poverty to be the single most urgent ... claim on the conscience (EJFA 86).
