Mars Colony Essay For many years, people have envisaged a colony on Mars. Though the task
may be daunting to some, the ideas and resources needed to sustain a colony on Mars is very
important. The similarities and differences between the ideas presented will be analyzed so that

The Hellas Planitia colony chose to bring livestock embryos and seeds. The livestock embryos
could be fertilized and the animal would be born. This would be effective because the livestock
embryos would weigh less, than the animal itself. Something else that made the Mars X colony
stand by itself was its all organic way. Unlike other colonies, that brought GMO foods or frozen
food, the Mars X colony didn t do that. The goal was to give fresh food so that the people on
Mars will have a healthy diet. Since GMO foods have chemicals, the Mars X colony didn t want
