Inquiry Learning Experience
This inquiry learning experience is designed to give students the opportunity to explore the
metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly (see appendix). Through this experience, children will
practice the skills of observing, communicating, classifying and inferring. These skills are integrated
in the lessons and allow children to construct knowledge about how caterpillar will change into a
butterfly following certain developmental growth sequence. Children need to collect information
about the life cycle of a butterfly using their science journals to record observations and questions and
assess their understanding. The learning strategies vary from individual to a whole group activity and
small group activity and ensure that teachers are giving individual attention and encouragement for
students to express ideas and thoughts and practice writing in their journals. In this experience,
children will be giving the opportunity to observe the transformation process in their class as part of
real life experience while observing real caterpillar transforming into a butterfly. More activities such
as songs, sequence cards game, charts, drawing, stories and audio visual videos (See appendix) are
there to reinforce the understanding of the concept. A fieldtrip to a place where they rear butterflies
will be very beneficial as well if such a place does exist. It would be an amazing educational
experience for students and teachers to visit and witness this amazing natural

How Breaking Bad Is Created By Vince Gilligan Essay
In this essay, I will analyse the TV show, Breaking Bad which is created by Vince Gilligan, in relation
to the theory of narrative. I will be basing this essay on the first episode of Breaking Bad and also the
TV show as a whole. We will learn to what extent Breaking Bad reflects conventional narrative
structure. First the essay will identify what conventional narrative structure is. I will then analyse how
Breaking Bad reflects the different parts that make up narrative structure, including, the three act
structure and character roles. I will then determine what is different about Breaking Bad and what
parts of it do not conform to conventional narrative structure. I will be discovering how the use of
conventional narrative structure effects how the audience views the text.
Narrative structure is about both the content of a story, and how the story is told by using plot. There
are different things that made up the narrative structure of a text. These include, the three act structure
and the roles of the characters. The three act structure is a model that is used in screenwriting to divide
a narrative into different parts (Cod.edu, 2015). The first act of a three act structure is called setup.
This is where setting, character, and their situations are introduced to the audience. The second act is
when something big happens so that there are major changes in the characters life. Act three is when
the problems and changes in the characters life are resolved (Writerswrite.com,

Analysis Of Vladimir Nabokov s Short Stories
Abstract
Vladimir Nabokov s short stories featured are Signs and Symbols, Bachmann and Terra Incognita.
Signs and Symbols focuses on a young boy institutionalized with a morbid paranoia of the outside
world and the impact this has on his elderly parents. Bachmann is about a genius composer whose
only source of affection is of Madame Perov, whose infatuation is seen in her constant attendance of
his piano recitals. Terra Incognito s main character Valliére and his companions are losing their minds
and lives to strange hallucigenic fever in a remote country in the fictional country of Zonraki. Strong
aspects of all three short stories focus on the alienation of each of the protagonists and the cause of
this, either due to madness, great creativity or delusion. This link is forged between the three, which
would have not been as obvious. To attempt to show this association, the following question arose,
which is:
The alienated person is out of touch with himself as he is out of touch with any person. (Erich Fromm,
1955) How does Nabokov convey alienation of characters well in the short stories Signs and Symbols,
Bachmann and Terra Incognita?
The three short stories, Signs and Symbols, Bachmann and Terra Incognita are going to be examined.
Nabokov is interested in people who are forcefully marginalized by society due to their imaginations.
He depicts them using a number of writer s tools such as the conflict between characters, the opinions
of secondary characters,

Sheet Music s Passion For Singing
The pile of things carried shows her passion and personality. Sheet music tells of her passion for
singing. Singing allows her to express through an artistic form. A person can release pent up feelings
without explicitly putting them into words. Music can convey a creativity unique to anything else. Her
earbuds give her the option to isolate her from reality. Music can take you to a new world away from
the mundane in the bag. The sheet music is neatly organized and showcased. The papers are in a see
through folder that indicates their importance. This contrasts all the loose papers filling the rest of the
bag. The disarray of papers is of a lower priority to the cherished, practiced sheet music. There is an
abundance of German paraphernalia

The Eolian Harp Synthesis Essay
The Romantic Period was an explosion of artistic energy from 1790 1820, which began in Germany
and quickly spread to the United States, almost all of Europe, and Latin America. It was a period full
of emotion, intuition, intense feelings, and the revolt against any authority or order. Those in this time
idealized nature and embraced the uncivilized, and imagination was a key component to their writing
and way of thinking. Steven Kreis, author for The History Guide writes, ...one power possessed by the
Romantic...was imagination... (Kreis 1). The era was centered on the rejection of the Enlightenment,
the acceptance of individuality and self expression, criticism, and social injustices. One big player in
the Romantic Era, and considered to ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Joseph McQueen, a professor at Ohio State University, writes of the mixed elements, Coleridge of the
poem spends the first 12 lines savoring the natural pleasures around him...from here, the poem turns
toward the supernatural...In this world, all things are animated by spiritual power, by what the poem
calls the one life within us and abroad (26) (McQueen 3 4). When the music from the harp begins to
play Coleridge s imagination is propelled forward and the poem is turned into a Fairy Land (Coleridge
440), where he paints a picture of the nature the music makes him see. He then says he doesn t know
how someone couldn t love the world that is so filled with beauty and wonder; the world that God
created and filled with beautiful things. He begins to question if like the breeze that played the harp, is
God playing human s in the same way. And what if all animated nature/ Be but organic harps diversely
framed, / That tremble into thought, as o er them sweeps/ Plastic and vast, one intellectual breeze, / At
once the soul of each, and God of All (Coleridge 441). He questions if God controls them and can
make them do amazing things like the breeze can so easily make the harp play music. Sara, his wife,
then chastises him for his questioning God and he prides her in her strong faith. He then asks God to
redeem him and mold his mind into one of Christ. Coleridge praises God and thanks him for all he has
been given despite the fact that he is a sinful man and has many flaws. Coleridge questioning God and
wavering in his faith is similar to that of the Ancient Mariner in The Rime of the Ancient Mariner .
Like the Mariner, Coleridge had a moment of doubt, while not as extreme as the Mariner s and it did
not result in eternal suffering, the idea of questioning God and being unsure regarding one s faith is

Hezbollah Strategy
Over the last several years Hezbollah and its patrons in Iran have greatly expanded their operations in
Latin America to the detriment of inter American security and US strategic interests. Today, Hezbollah
is using the Western Hemisphere as a staging ground, fundraising center, and operational base to wage
asymmetric warfare against the United States. Venezuela s Hugo Chávez and other anti American
governments in the region have facilitated this expansion by rolling out the welcome mats for
Hezbollah and Iran. US policymakers must increase their attention to this problem, expand their assets
in the region, and develop a comprehensive strategy to combat this threat in a sustained and
meaningful way.

Uber Insurance Case
This industry has already started expanding their business more than just ride sharing application they
have gone into electric driving. One of the CEOs Travis Kalanick of this business said it will be
intense, but it is only for expanding the company on making more profit (Felton). In Ryan Felton

driverless car. I believe that if Uber budgets their money right and avoid lawsuits they can expand one
part of the company at a time. Furthermore, adding in electric cars and self driving vehicles this will
make the drive probably faster. Uber will see a decrease in the number of lawsuits that come in every

Uber website states that they provide liability insurance that covers any accident that occurs from
when the trip starts to the finish. Even if it was the other car fault and they do not have proper
insurance Uber covers everyone in the ridesharing vehicle. But the drivers are required to still have
auto insurance because of what that is what every state requires. In my academic journal Jennie Davis
expresses on the other hand, drivers are uncertain if Uber will cover them. Also, that in certain cities
they treat their policies differently and may not cover. But they feel the customers are fully covered in
any circumstance. Davis argues that this is really a concerning factor, because drivers are riding
around on their cell phones constantly. I agree this is a big risk when it comes to keeping your eyes on
the road. But Uber clearly states in their policy that they cover both the passenger and the driver. It is
the Uber company job to make it more clear to their employees on the policy so they will not be
driving around wondering if Uber going to cover. Despite this big concern Uber business model still
states that they cover everyone in the car so drivers not overact and just read their policy on this

Orchestra Essay
Even though the times have changed, many characteristics from the past still impact the world of art
today. Characteristics from the Baroque period, Classical period, and Romantic period have had their
share of impact on today s society. In order to fully develop an overall understanding of how defining
each of these eras are, one must expose themselves to the vastly varying eras music, and other art
forms including paintings. First in chronological order of these three eras, is the Baroque Era. The
Baroque Era began roughly around the year 1600 and ended during the late 18th century. Baroque is
generally characterized as an era with eccentric redundancy and also an abundance of details. Many
art forms throughout this period resembled ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Following the Baroque era was the Classical Era. Classical music often times represented complex
emotional feelings in the music. The classical era brought forth a few new styles of music
composition. One is known as symphony. Symphonies are normally multi movement works(10)
containing four movements therefore resulting in dramatically longer pieces than the preceding era.
Symphony orchestras contained the string instruments. To the strings were added wind instruments,
usually the oboe and bassoon and fairly frequently the flute. The clarinet was introduced and gradually
became a regular member of the orchestra. However, the brass section(11) was not yet introduced. The
only brass instrument that was normally included was the French horn. Trumpets, along with the
timpani or kettle drums, were used only for reinforcing volume or rhythm. Another form that
developed from this era was sonata form(12) which was structured through binary form(13). The
classical suite(14) also was derived from this era. Variety of melodies, rhythms and dynamics using
crescendo, diminuendo and sforzando(15) were more commonplace in the Classical period than they
had been in the Baroque.

Grapes Of Wrath By John Steinbeck
Have you ever realized that John Steinbeck talked about Religion in his book Grapes of Wrath? Well,
if your answer is NO, let me inform you that Steinbeck did talk about Religion in his book. There are
many similarities in John Steinbeck s Grapes of Wrath and Christ s story. In The Grapes of Wrath,
Steinbeck presents religion in different ways ranging from Jim Casy s similarities to Christ, the use of
Christian theology, and the symbolism of some characters as pastors. Throughout his book, Steinbeck
recounts the great depression era and its effects on proletariats. The major theme throughout this book
is the role of Christianity in the society. Marxism is a better theoretical lens to utilize for this paper
because the book itself contains several Marxist key terms. By applying the Marxist theory on
Steinbeck s book Grapes of Wrath, we can better understand how he uses Christian theology to
advance his critiques of capitalism.
Marxism is a literary theory that was developed by Karl Marx and his colleague Friedrich Engels.
According to Karl Marx, human history is made of physical things as well as a variety of struggles
between social classes: the lower class (oppressed) and the middle class (oppressing). There are two
most common and important key terms used in the Marxist theory: bourgeoisie, which often refers to
the middle class; those who own business or have a better life and proletariat, which refers to lower or
working class; those who have to work for others in

The Mystery Date
It all began with a simple phone call one night after dinner, Joe, my father hollered up the stairs, it s
for you. It s Jackie, and she sounds upset. As I came downstairs to pick up the phone, I was not happy.
I was tired and had looked forward to a nice quiet evening at home, not another stupid adventure with
Jackie. Thirty minutes later, however, Jackie s silver Mustang convertible swung into our driveway,
and Jackie was leaning on the horn before the car came to a full stop. Grabbing my coat from the
couch, I walk out my front door with all the enthusiasm of a man going to stand before a firing squad.
We head off down the road, I fretted, Where are we going? To a mystery movie and then a mansion
with a bunch of people we don t know, she replied. Ten minutes later, we were in the theater to watch
this movie. The movie was about a mysterious man who hosted a dinner party at his mansion. He had
invited a bunch of people who lived in the city. These people were from his high school and were the
ones who had bullied and hurt him. When his party began, he was not at his own party, but instead
was hiding in his elaborately built mansion so that he could hide almost anywhere without being seen
or heard. The mystery host intended to kill all of his guests for revenge. He murdered all, but one
person who was a private detective. The host was caught while he was trying to kill the P.I. and was
later sentenced to death for killing many people. When the movie was

Consequences Of Winning The Lottery
Imagine winning the lottery right now, smiling while holding a big check for five hundred million
dollars. Now imagine all of the things you could do with that money like buy a giraffe or a
lamborghini. You could even open up an orphanage for kids. Now think of all the bad that could come
out like becoming broke from lack of responsibility (financially) or losing all of your friends. When
people win the lottery, people like to focus on the positive elements, but no one chooses to look at the
negative elements. Although there are many risks involved in winning the lottery, I would still love to
win. Because I would have many more opportunities,I could help many people in need, and I would

The Media And Its Influence On The Public
In Berger s views the invention of the camera brought some freedom to art, but did it really? There is
always a power struggle over the public s perception over themselves and others. The picture, which
comes hand in hand with the camera, is a mass producer in the influence over the public s perception.
The public has access to this technology, but is the public viewing what the public publishes? Most of
the time we are viewing the popular, which is usually a small group of people. This small group of
people wins over our perception by persuasion in that the perception they are portraying is the norm.
People now need the media news, information for different reasons, on one hand it can be used to
socialize and on the other to make reports for the news The media and its influence on the public, has
grown in this Century with the grown of technology. First there was the newspaper, magazines, radio,
television and now, cell phones, the internet and the new social media etc. There are positive and
negative influences of media, which we have to understand. The public depends on the information

A Rhetorical Analysis Of Love Song Lyrics
Romance song lyrics are the most popular subject matter for songwriters because they are easily
relatable and bring up nostalgic memories. Often, love song lyrics are written from experience about
lost or unrequited love and trigger sentimental feelings that make listeners want to put them on replay.
The common written genre I am analyzing is song lyrics for love songs. It is important to pay attention
to this genre because a significant number of people listen to music every day but most likely do not
know the true message of the songs. They are often simple enough for the audience, often teenagers or
young adults who can relate more to these lyrics, to know every word even middle schoolers can
understand the lyrics. Love song lyrics give a personal opinion on the composer s love life: Sam Smith
reveals his confession and unrequited love in Leave Your Lover and Adele examines the acceptance
stage of a breakup in Someone Like You . By analyzing Adele s and Sam Smith s choices of words,
tone, and expression in their songs Someone Like You and Leave Your Lover, I will discuss the
specific topics, structure, and diction of song lyrics in romance songs, and then use Adele s and Smith
s lyrics to talk about the rhetorical situations to show how people employ these pieces of writing. ...

The 1920s was a very eventful time period for the US crime scene. With the emergences of major
crime bosses like Al Capone, Meyer Lansky, Charles Luciano, and others there was much to be done
in the crime world. Charles Lucky Luciano (born as Salvatore Lucania) would become a key player in
the reshaping and modernization of the mafia and the crime world. Young Luciano would show signs
of pursuing a criminal career. His parents and family however disapproved of their son s action and
career path and essentially exiled him, respecting his family s wishes he would later change his name
from Salvatore Lucania to Charles Luciano. He also by the age of 10 he involved extortion, and
thievery. Upon his arrest for the distribution of drugs in 1915, the police would offered to release him
if he would tell them what he knew about the mob, Luciano however refused to talk due to the Sicilian

Pros And Cons Of Safe Injection Sites
John P. Walters, who is opposed to safe injection sites, wrote in a USA Today article:

Walters believes that the heroin epidemic is a serious issue that must be addressed, but his solution is

Federal, State, And Local Roles Of Emergency Management
Federal, State, and Local Roles in Emergency Management
Introduction
Government at all levels plays an important role during disaster management. Actions and roles of
each government agencies are spelled out in the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and
the National Response Framework (NRF). But before we go into details on the roles of governments,
let me first of all explain what constitute emergency and emergency management, just to give clearer
understanding some of these terms. Then I will examine the roles of governments at all level including
first responder actions, mutual support, lead and support roles.
An emergency is a severe, sudden and sometimes risky circumstances requiring urgent action (Salman
Sawalha, 2014). Escalation of an emergency situation can lead to disaster; which is an unusual event
that can cause lost of life and property (Salman Sawalha, 2014). International Federation of Red Cross
and Red Crescent Societies (IFRRCS) define disaster as unexpected devastating events that disrupts
the operations of a population or public which leads to huge losses and overwhelmed the affected
community s ability to respond to the situation with the resources they have at hand . There are two
main types of disaster that can lead to emergency situations; these include natural and man made
disasters.
Natural disasters are the catastrophes cause by Mother Nature , which is often difficult to forecast or

The Effects of Depth on Algal Growth in the Biscayne Bay.
Introduction
Biscayne Bay is located in South Florida and is home to many terrestrial and aquatic organisms. Over
the years, humans have populated the land around Biscayne Bay, which has greatly altered the water
quality. In a study done in 2011, anthropogenic affects in the bay were measured by testing for an
overabundance of nutrients in the water (Carey et al, 2011). This is just one of the many studies that
shows how and why the Biscayne Bay is affected by human activities. A major concern with the
increase in nutrient to the water is that it leads to an accumulation of algae, which ultimately causes a
surge in algal bloom (Levinton, 2013).
Many studies around the world show the detrimental affects of harmful algal blooms, or HAB for
short, and directly link the runoff of nutrients into the water as the key contributor to its frequency. An
example of a study done in estuaries around New York showed that an increase in macro green algae,
which is also found in Biscayne Bay, increases the growth of several other forms of harmful algae
(Tang, 2011). In a more recent study conducted in 2013, Biscayne Bay was shown to have an increase
in green macro algal blooms that are also linked to nutrient runoff in the bay and smother the sea grass
habitats (Vides et al, 2013). Biscayne Bay is said to hold nutrient rich sediment (Carnehan et al.,
2009).
Algal blooms are responsible

classes (Hallam Ireson, 2003; Hallam Ireson, 2005; Kutnick, Blatchford, Clark, MacIntyre, Baines,
2005). The government guidance acknowledges that setting doesn t guarantee full homogeneity within
the groups and therefore differentiation is still necessary in lessons, as they need to be tailored
specifically to their profile and allow the implementation of strategies that able pupils to be stretched
in their different capacities (DfES, 2006). Nevertheless, intelligent use of group setting would allow
teachers to plan with more confidence, allocate resources like teaching assistants to more demanding
groups (DfES, 2006), and differentiate their approach to different groups. The main argument in favor
of setting pupils by ability tends to be that more able pupils need some form of separate grouping and
an environment where they can freely be stretched to the maximum of their potential without feeling
inhibited by their peers (Hallam Ireson, 2003; Hallam Ireson, 2005; Hallam, Rogers, Ireson, 2008).
Most research supports this argument and there is an overall agreement amongst teachers in the

The Stono Rebellion And The Salem Witch Trials
Rebellions have played a pivotal role throughout the creation of civilization, impacting the eventual
outcomes of cultures. While analyzing significant rebellions within the American colonies, one aspect
persists throughout: one culture s assumption that it is superior to another, prompting an attempt to
impose that group s culture and way of life over the other. In Metacom s War, the Stono Rebellion, and
the Salem Witch Trials, that common theme is evident and corresponds to Bailyn s quote, It was the
intermingling of [barbarity] and developing civilization that is the central characteristic of the world
that was emerging in America. However, the question remains: who are the barbarians and who are the
civilized? In each of the rebellions there is a clear historical tendency to label groups; indeed, it must
be noted that viewpoint is of utmost importance when evaluating such events, if one is to truly
understand the plight of the barbarian and the civilized. That said, by dissecting the quote, and
analyzing these three events, it is clear that each rebellion was the result of cultural ignorance and, as a
consequence, a sort of death occurred in each culture for Metacom s war, culture and tradition, for
Stono, African freedom, and for Salem, the Puritan utopia.
In order to fully comprehend the historical implications, it is necessary to first discuss the language
which the quote uses and analyze how it applies to each of the three rebellions more specifically, the

Essay on There Is a Fine Line Between Reality and Illusion
There is a fine line between reality and illusion
How can we distinguish between reality and illusion? Is reality an illusion, or is an illusion simply
reality? Albert Einstein once stated that reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one . The
statement suggests that what we interpret to be real may well be an illusion and this is evidenced
mainly through dreams and aspirations. For example if someone has dreamt of one day being a doctor
their reality, which is described as the state of things that actually exist, shifts or changes in order for
that idea to become real. Reality is tangible while illusion is a faculty or activity of imagination. What
may be reality for one person may be an illusion for another and this ... Show more content on

she has lost the love of her life to suicide, no longer remains a teacher and does not own any assets as

and manipulates it with lies, makeup and lighting in order to hide from the truth. I don t want realism I

Jeanne Louise Dumont Farrenc.
Jeanne Louise Dumont Farrenc; born May 31st, 1804 in Paris, was a virtuosa pianist, teacher, and
French composer who started out during the early romantic era but remained unknown to the world.
She comes from a very large dynasty of famous sculptors; such as her brother, Augustin Alexandre
Dumont, her father, Jacques Edme Dumont, her grandfather, Edme Dumont, her great grandfather,
François Dumont, and her great great grandfather, Pierre Dumont.
She began her piano studies at an early age along with Cecile Soria, who was a former student of
Muzio Clementi. When her abilities in the world of professional pianists became quite clear, she was
given the chance to learn from several masters, such as Ignaz Moscheles and Johann Nepomuk
Hummel. In 1819, at 15 years of age, she managed to study with Anton Reicha, the composition
teacher at the Conservatoire; due to the talents she showed as a composer. Although, during this time,
composition classes were open only to men; and not women.
Louise Farrenc; just like many others, managed to fall through the cracks because throughout the 19th

composers were not able to obtain any sort of reputation, whether good or bad, without first achieving

Examples Of Evil In Animal Farm By George Orwell
You need to do something! Do not think somebody else will do something about it, take matters into
your own hands. If something is not going the way you want it to then you need to stand up and you
need to make a change. Evil is all around and to keep evil from controlling the world we need to do
something to about it. In the novel Animal Farm by George Orwell we see multiple examples about
how if we do nothing evil will always win. For example at the Manor farm the animals want more
freedom and to have a better life where they are not overworked, so they decide to rebel against the
evil Mr jones and take over farm. When this happens the humans decide they need to do something
about it and the chose to fight back against the animals. Finally, when the animals do not fight back it
results in their good friend boxer being taken to the slaughter house, if they had fought back they
could have helped save their friend.

Wiesenthal tells Bolek of what he experienced in the dying SS man s room, Bolek says he describes it

Therefore every year, on November 4th, everyone, regardless of status, social class, gender, or age,
comes together to honor the meaningful history and show the pride they have for their country. A very
long time ago the strife between Russia and Poland began with conflict in the areas of religion,
territory, and historical disputes. This morphed into a larger conflict over various generations. The
foundation of the struggle all began with the union of the Polish Lithuanian Kingdom which, at the
time, was growing in power. Meanwhile, the Mongolian population was on the decline. This joint
kingdom was brought about by the marriage of the Lithuanian ruler Jogila and the Polish queen
Jadwiga in 1386. This resulted in a very powerful union between Poland and Lithuania. Before this
agreement, both Lithuania and Poland supported Catholicism. As a result, when they joined together,
there was no religious conflict. Together, they conquered land from Ukraine and Western Russia.
Before being called Russia, Muscovy was the name of the country because of the Mongols that

Essay On Madame Defarge
The French common people were squashed by the wealthy leading to an unjust social system. As the
common Frenchmen s oppression continued, their anger festered eventually leading to the great revolt
known as the French Revolution. The book Tale of Two Cities written by Charles Dickens, is about
the poverty stricken French peasants as they rise up to fight against the rich and haughty nobleman.
The peasants had grown irritated by the haughty regime of the noblemen. While the nobleman made
up only two percent of the French population, they controlled the majority of the wealth in France.
This caused the common people to obtain minimal amounts of money throughout their lives. The
scarce amount of currency lead the Third Estate to a world of hunger and death, however, the wealthy
were oblivious to their pain.
After decades of suffering, the peasants grew uneasy and eventually protested their unfair treatment,
and they thought they were spreading justice as they were truly contaminating France with retribution.

The Cost Of Making All Public Higher Education
Free Public Higher Education
To determine the cost of making all public higher education free in America, we first need to look at
how much we are currently spending. In 2008 9, there were 6.4 million full time equivalent
undergraduate students enrolled in public universities and 4.3 million enrolled in community
colleges.1 The following year, the average cost of tuition, room, and board for undergraduates at
public four year institutions was $14,870; at two year public colleges, it was $7,629.2 If we multiply
the number of students in each segment of public higher education by the average total cost, we

Rather than directly funding public higher education institutions, state and federal governments have
often relied on tax deductions and credits to support individual students. The tax code has been used to
fund higher education because it is easier for Congress to pass a tax break than it is to get funding for
a particular program, but what this system has achieved is a tremendous subsidy for upper middle
class and wealthy families, while lower income students are forced to take out huge loans to pay for
their education. According to a recent study: From 1999 to 2009, the govern
ment spent $70 billion on
tax breaks aimed at subsidizing higher educa

that total went to families making more than $100,000 a year. At the same time, only 11 per

$25,000 and $99,999 received the lion s share of the aid, taking in slightly more than three quarters of
the benefits. 5
Later the report indicates that more of the funding now goes to the wealthiest Americans: Nearly 83

The second disadvantage was that Sumer was a small region, and so the protection of the village was
hard. The third and final disadvantage was that the natural resources of Sumer were extremely limited.
Creating Solutions Over time, the people of Sumer created solutions to deal with the
problems/disadvantages. To provide water, they dug irrigation ditches that carried river water to the
fields, and allowed them to provide a surplus of crops. To defend the city/village, they built city walls
with mud bricks. Then they traded with the people of the mountains and the desert for the products
they lacked. They would trade their grain, cloth, and crafted tools for the stone, wood, and metal they
needed to make tools and buildings. It took many people working together, like for the large irrigation

The reason the Teatro Olimpico was so innovative was because there was no blueprint for Palladio to
follow. Palladio had to rely on his own intellect and ingenuity to complete this theater rather than fail
like the countless people before him. After the project was completed it was deemed successful
because the audience felt connected to the actors and had very good sound quality. The theatre was
most effective when it was full because the dialogue carries well because of the small volume, flat
ceiling, and direct sight and hearing lines to the seats from the stage. The Teatro Olimpico is still
considered one of the greatest architectural achievements of the sixteenth

Deep Sea Sounding On Challenger
11. Deep sea sounding on Challenger HMS Challenger sounding logs show that by September 1873,
the Baillie was used to conduct most of Challenger s deep sea sounding work. Unlike a wire sounder
tested and rejected earlier in the voyage, the Baillie sounder was able to move within the ship s
existing system of instrumentation and materials. As with HMS Sylvia, sounding was conducted from
the mainyard, and a steam engine on the deck helped to retrieve the sounder from the ocean floor.
Similar to the Hydra, officers timed and calculated the Baillie s rate of decent. When the sounder
slowed, the ocean s depth was ascertained by the length of the sounding line. 12. Other instruments It
is often overlooked that the Baillie sounder worked as a system with other instruments. In addition to
the sounder, several thermometers, a water collection bottle and a pressure gauge were often attached
to the hemp sounding line. In this manner, the Baillie sounder worked in concert with several other
instruments collecting information about the ocean floor. The ability of the Baillie sounder to transport
sea floor materials to the surface was useful for the laying of telegraph cables, but also essential for
scientific analysis. Samples of the ocean bottom provided key evidence for developing theories about
life in the deep ocean, and how species evolved over time. For example, in 1865 zoologist Thomas
Huxley claimed Bathybius haecklii was a type of primordial ooze that lived on the deep

Vegetarian Vs Omnivore
Whether it be because of religion, culture, or personal choice, millions of people worldwide do not eat
meat, and the majority of the population, the omnivores, often ridicule these people, the vegetarians,
for their choices. This has sadly created a divide between thousands of people, however the cause of
this separation is simple. One side, whether it be the omnivores or the vegetarians, feels the need to
impose its choices onto the other side. Both sides are at fault here, as the omnivores tell the
vegetarians that they cannot get proper nutrients from a plant based diet, and the vegetarians try to tell
the omnivores that they are torturing animals by killing them for food. The omnivores are wrong
because, while it does require careful planning, vegetarians can easily get the nutrients they need, and
the vegetarians are hypocritical because, as the article will show, farming kills thousands of creatures.
The author of Even Small Scale Vegetable Farming Requires Hunting Animals, Tovar Cerulli, is a
vegan writer and speaker. He begins the article by telling a story about how he found cucumber
beetles on his squash plants, and rather than using a pesticide on the plants, he went into his garden
before work and squished the bugs he could find. He also talks about the effects of industrial ... Show

The author is correct in his assumptions, and it would be incredibly difficult, if not impossible, to
refute the article. The article is a good source of information on the topic because it comes from a
vegan, who often argue that vegetarians do not harm animals, and because most of Cerulli s facts are
supported with personal experience, and those that aren t are supported can be easily verified or are
supported with a source or another

Nontraditional Casting
Nontraditional Casting
Nontraditional casting is also known as colour blind casting and integrated casting. Non traditional
casting is defined as the casting of ethnic minority and female actors in roles where race, ethnicity, or
sex is not considered. Watching Hollywood movies, there is much diversity in a movie depending on
what the genre is. Hollywood looks for actors that fit the physical and talent description directors are
looking for. Hollywood work with what they only have, not based on color. Hollywood actually takes
advantage of the multicultural world. If they need an African American, American Asian, Indian,
Mexican actor they ll scout out for the ones they desire. It s true that majority of movies and TV
shows are Caucasian ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Not only are those actors being discriminated but directors are also denying their talents as
performers. The Non Traditional Casting Project recognized and stated that Deaf culture is an
important part of our national heritage and cultural legacy that should be reflected accurately on our
stages and screens and shared with a broad spectrum of the American public.
This book focuses on diversity that links between many people in American society. Adalberto
Aguirre, Jr., specializes in race critical theory, race and ethnic relations, and equity issues in higher
education for women and minority faculty. His published works include American Ethnicity: The
Dynamics and Consequences of Discrimination, Women and Minority Faculty in the Academic
Workplace. In this book, Adalberto has separated each chapter with different nations. For example,
Chapter 1 Early America, Chapter 2 The Spanish Exploration in North America, Chapter 3 The
European Immigrants in North America...etc. Adalberto pretty much provided a comparative analysis
of the major racial and ethnic populations that shaped diversity in early American society and into the
21st century. It s interesting to read how each culture suffers from different things during the same

Racial Disparities And Gender Disparities
When it comes to healthcare racial disparities continue to be an ongoing issue. In fact racial disparities
have been a topic of discussion since desegregation. The US Department of Health and Human
Services, in 1984 published a report that called attention to the healthcare disparities. The report was
called Heath, United States 1983(Dougher, 2015). Within the context of the report there lies a passage
that describes the major disparities that are within the burden of illness and death that is experienced
by African Americans and other minorities, despite significant progress in the overall health of the
nation (Dougher, 2015). It was evident that there was a serious lack of health care minorities. Low
income neighborhoods are still witnessing a rising gap in healthcare coverage. For example, patients
with diabetes are more likely to undergo limb amputation than those in higher income areas (Pearl,
2015). Also, research has shown the Caucasians women have and overall incidence of breast cancer
that is higher than that of African American women (Williams, Mohammed, Leavell, Collins, 2010).
On the contrary there is a higher death rate of breast cancer in African American women than in
Caucasians women.
African American women are diagnosed with breast cancer at a rate of one in ten. Caucasian women
see a rate of 1 in 8 however, 1 in 31 African American women are found die from their illness where 1

Anti Vietnam War Song Woodstock Essay
The song Anti Vietnam War Song Woodstock tells how America needs more soldiers to fight a war
that s nowhere near American soil for a reason that is not well known to the american soldier. Country
Joe is basically saying that the soldiers do not know what they are fighting for and frankly don t give a
damn, all they know is that they have been drafted for a war they do not approve of. Many people of
this time made protest songs against the war and some of the songs leave more to the imagination than
other songs such as the Anti Vietnam War song.
The largest Anti Vietnam conference was held on November 15, 1969, and was hosted by the Vietnam
Moratorium. This convention is believed to be the biggest anti war conference ever in american

war was that he recommended going to war because no one stopped the rise of Hitler and Mussolini
causing a tragic future. The containment of communism is needed now rather than letting it spread
further, making it harder to get rid of in the future.
The song Handsome Johnny , written by Richie Havens, shows the evolution of war in his song. Each
war the weapon that Handsome Johnny used got more sophisticated and more efficient at killing. This
is a powerful song because people will fight for what they believe in and will even fight for what they
do not know. Handsome Johnny are the soldiers of America, fighting from the civil war, all the way up
to the korean war.
During the 1960 s was when the Anti War movements were most common. There were over hundred

  • 2. Inquiry Learning Experience This inquiry learning experience is designed to give students the opportunity to explore the metamorphosis of a caterpillar into a butterfly (see appendix). Through this experience, children will practice the skills of observing, communicating, classifying and inferring. These skills are integrated in the lessons and allow children to construct knowledge about how caterpillar will change into a butterfly following certain developmental growth sequence. Children need to collect information about the life cycle of a butterfly using their science journals to record observations and questions and assess their understanding. The learning strategies vary from individual to a whole group activity and small group activity and ensure that teachers are giving individual attention and encouragement for students to express ideas and thoughts and practice writing in their journals. In this experience, children will be giving the opportunity to observe the transformation process in their class as part of real life experience while observing real caterpillar transforming into a butterfly. More activities such as songs, sequence cards game, charts, drawing, stories and audio visual videos (See appendix) are there to reinforce the understanding of the concept. A fieldtrip to a place where they rear butterflies will be very beneficial as well if such a place does exist. It would be an amazing educational experience for students and teachers to visit and witness this amazing natural ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 3. How Breaking Bad Is Created By Vince Gilligan Essay In this essay, I will analyse the TV show, Breaking Bad which is created by Vince Gilligan, in relation to the theory of narrative. I will be basing this essay on the first episode of Breaking Bad and also the TV show as a whole. We will learn to what extent Breaking Bad reflects conventional narrative structure. First the essay will identify what conventional narrative structure is. I will then analyse how Breaking Bad reflects the different parts that make up narrative structure, including, the three act structure and character roles. I will then determine what is different about Breaking Bad and what parts of it do not conform to conventional narrative structure. I will be discovering how the use of conventional narrative structure effects how the audience views the text. Narrative structure is about both the content of a story, and how the story is told by using plot. There are different things that made up the narrative structure of a text. These include, the three act structure and the roles of the characters. The three act structure is a model that is used in screenwriting to divide a narrative into different parts (Cod.edu, 2015). The first act of a three act structure is called setup. This is where setting, character, and their situations are introduced to the audience. The second act is when something big happens so that there are major changes in the characters life. Act three is when the problems and changes in the characters life are resolved (Writerswrite.com, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. Analysis Of Vladimir Nabokov s Short Stories Abstract Vladimir Nabokov s short stories featured are Signs and Symbols, Bachmann and Terra Incognita. Signs and Symbols focuses on a young boy institutionalized with a morbid paranoia of the outside world and the impact this has on his elderly parents. Bachmann is about a genius composer whose only source of affection is of Madame Perov, whose infatuation is seen in her constant attendance of his piano recitals. Terra Incognito s main character Valliére and his companions are losing their minds and lives to strange hallucigenic fever in a remote country in the fictional country of Zonraki. Strong aspects of all three short stories focus on the alienation of each of the protagonists and the cause of this, either due to madness, great creativity or delusion. This link is forged between the three, which would have not been as obvious. To attempt to show this association, the following question arose, which is: The alienated person is out of touch with himself as he is out of touch with any person. (Erich Fromm, 1955) How does Nabokov convey alienation of characters well in the short stories Signs and Symbols, Bachmann and Terra Incognita? The three short stories, Signs and Symbols, Bachmann and Terra Incognita are going to be examined. Nabokov is interested in people who are forcefully marginalized by society due to their imaginations. He depicts them using a number of writer s tools such as the conflict between characters, the opinions of secondary characters, ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

  • 6. The Eolian Harp Synthesis Essay The Romantic Period was an explosion of artistic energy from 1790 1820, which began in Germany and quickly spread to the United States, almost all of Europe, and Latin America. It was a period full of emotion, intuition, intense feelings, and the revolt against any authority or order. Those in this time idealized nature and embraced the uncivilized, and imagination was a key component to their writing and way of thinking. Steven Kreis, author for The History Guide writes, ...one power possessed by the Romantic...was imagination... (Kreis 1). The era was centered on the rejection of the Enlightenment, the acceptance of individuality and self expression, criticism, and social injustices. When the music from the harp begins to play Coleridge s imagination is propelled forward and the poem is turned into a Fairy Land (Coleridge 440), where he paints a picture of the nature the music makes him see. He then says he doesn t know how someone couldn t love the world that is so filled with beauty and wonder; the world that God created and filled with beautiful things. He begins to question if like the breeze that played the harp, is God playing human s in the same way. And what if all animated nature/ Be but organic harps diversely framed, / That tremble into thought, as o er them sweeps/ Plastic and vast, one intellectual breeze, / At once the soul of each, and God of All (Coleridge 441). He questions if God controls them and can make them do amazing things like the breeze can so easily make the harp play music. Sara, his wife, then chastises him for his questioning God and he prides her in her strong faith. He then asks God to redeem him and mold his mind into one of Christ. Coleridge praises God and thanks him for all he has been given despite the fact that he is a sinful man and has many flaws. Coleridge questioning God and wavering in his faith is similar to that of the Ancient Mariner in The Rime of the Ancient Mariner . Like the Mariner, Coleridge had a moment of doubt, while not as extreme as the Mariner s and it did not result in eternal suffering, the idea of questioning God and being unsure regarding one s faith is ... In my academic journal Jennie Davis expresses on the other hand, drivers are uncertain if Uber will cover them. Also, that in certain cities they treat their policies differently and may not cover. But they feel the customers are fully covered in any circumstance. Davis argues that this is really a concerning factor, because drivers are riding around on their cell phones constantly. Characteristics from the Baroque period, Classical period, and Romantic period have had their share of impact on today s society. In order to fully develop an overall understanding of how defining each of these eras are, one must expose themselves to the vastly varying eras music, and other art forms including paintings. First in chronological order of these three eras, is the Baroque Era. The Baroque Era began roughly around the year 1600 and ended during the late 18th century. After the concert I headed downstairs for some muffins and brownies with my buddies except they were all gone by the time I got there! Following the Baroque era was the Classical Era. Classical music often times represented complex emotional feelings in the music. The classical era brought forth a few new styles of music composition. One is known as symphony. Symphonies are normally multi movement works(10) containing four movements therefore resulting in dramatically longer pieces than the preceding era. Symphony orchestras contained the string instruments. To the strings were added wind instruments, usually the oboe and bassoon and fairly frequently the flute. The clarinet was introduced and gradually became a regular member of the orchestra. However, the brass section(11) was not yet introduced. The only brass instrument that was normally included was the French horn. Trumpets, along with the timpani or kettle drums, were used only for reinforcing volume or rhythm. Another form that developed from this era was sonata form(12) which was structured through binary form(13). The classical suite(14) also was derived from this era. Variety of melodies, rhythms and dynamics using crescendo, diminuendo and sforzando(15) were more commonplace in the Classical period than they had been in the Baroque. • 11. Grapes Of Wrath By John Steinbeck Have you ever realized that John Steinbeck talked about Religion in his book Grapes of Wrath? Well, if your answer is NO, let me inform you that Steinbeck did talk about Religion in his book. There are many similarities in John Steinbeck s Grapes of Wrath and Christ s story. In The Grapes of Wrath, Steinbeck presents religion in different ways ranging from Jim Casy s similarities to Christ, the use of Christian theology, and the symbolism of some characters as pastors. Throughout his book, Steinbeck recounts the great depression era and its effects on proletariats. The major theme throughout this book is the role of Christianity in the society. Marxism is a better theoretical lens to utilize for this paper because the book itself contains several Marxist key terms. By applying the Marxist theory on Steinbeck s book Grapes of Wrath, we can better understand how he uses Christian theology to advance his critiques of capitalism. Marxism is a literary theory that was developed by Karl Marx and his colleague Friedrich Engels. According to Karl Marx, human history is made of physical things as well as a variety of struggles between social classes: the lower class (oppressed) and the middle class (oppressing). There are two most common and important key terms used in the Marxist theory: bourgeoisie, which often refers to the middle class; those who own business or have a better life and proletariat, which refers to lower or working class; those who have to work for others in ... • 17. A Rhetorical Analysis Of Love Song Lyrics Romance song lyrics are the most popular subject matter for songwriters because they are easily relatable and bring up nostalgic memories. Often, love song lyrics are written from experience about lost or unrequited love and trigger sentimental feelings that make listeners want to put them on replay. The common written genre I am analyzing is song lyrics for love songs. It is important to pay attention to this genre because a significant number of people listen to music every day but most likely do not know the true message of the songs. They are often simple enough for the audience, often teenagers or young adults who can relate more to these lyrics, to know every word even middle schoolers can understand the lyrics. Love song lyrics give a personal opinion on the composer s love life: Sam Smith reveals his confession and unrequited love in Leave Your Lover and Adele examines the acceptance stage of a breakup in Someone Like You . By analyzing Adele s and Sam Smith s choices of words, tone, and expression in their songs Someone Like You and Leave Your Lover, I will discuss the specific topics, structure, and diction of song lyrics in romance songs, and then use Adele s and Smith s lyrics to talk about the rhetorical situations to show how people employ these pieces of writing. ... Actions and roles of each government agencies are spelled out in the National Incident Management System (NIMS) and the National Response Framework (NRF). But before we go into details on the roles of governments, let me first of all explain what constitute emergency and emergency management, just to give clearer understanding some of these terms. Then I will examine the roles of governments at all level including first responder actions, mutual support, lead and support roles. An emergency is a severe, sudden and sometimes risky circumstances requiring urgent action (Salman Sawalha, 2014). Escalation of an emergency situation can lead to disaster; which is an unusual event that can cause lost of life and property (Salman Sawalha, 2014). International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRRCS) define disaster as unexpected devastating events that disrupts the operations of a population or public which leads to huge losses and overwhelmed the affected community s ability to respond to the situation with the resources they have at hand . • 21. Effects Of Depth On Algal Growth Lynne Miranda OCB Lab Experiment 04/17/15 The Effects of Depth on Algal Growth in the Biscayne Bay. Introduction Biscayne Bay is located in South Florida and is home to many terrestrial and aquatic organisms. Over the years, humans have populated the land around Biscayne Bay, which has greatly altered the water quality. In a study done in 2011, anthropogenic affects in the bay were measured by testing for an overabundance of nutrients in the water (Carey et al, 2011). This is just one of the many studies that shows how and why the Biscayne Bay is affected by human activities. A major concern with the increase in nutrient to the water is that it leads to an accumulation of algae, which ultimately causes a surge in algal bloom (Levinton, 2013). Many studies around the world show the detrimental affects of harmful algal blooms, or HAB for short, and directly link the runoff of nutrients into the water as the key contributor to its frequency. An example of a study done in estuaries around New York showed that an increase in macro green algae, which is also found in Biscayne Bay, increases the growth of several other forms of harmful algae (Tang, 2011). In a more recent study conducted in 2013, Biscayne Bay was shown to have an increase in green macro algal blooms that are also linked to nutrient runoff in the bay and smother the sea grass habitats (Vides et al, 2013). Biscayne Bay is said to hold nutrient rich sediment (Carnehan et al., 2009). Algal blooms are responsible ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The never ending search for strategies to attain better results lead policy makers in the UK to continue the promotion of setting pupils by ability, despite research suggesting no consistent evidence that structured ability grouping will produce positive effects on attainment on any particular group of pupils (Hallam Ireson, 2005). Research also suggests that teachers tend to feel the pressure of government guidance s and school s ethos and policies as an important force in determining their beliefs (Hallam Ireson, 2003), but their attitudes towards teaching seem to be mostly influenced by their experience in their subjects with their classes (Hallam Ireson, 2003; Hallam Ireson, 2005; Kutnick, Blatchford, Clark, MacIntyre, Baines, 2005). The government guidance acknowledges that setting doesn t guarantee full homogeneity within the groups and therefore differentiation is still necessary in lessons, as they need to be tailored specifically to their profile and allow the implementation of strategies that able pupils to be stretched in their different capacities (DfES, 2006). Nevertheless, intelligent use of group setting would allow teachers to plan with more confidence, allocate resources like teaching assistants to more demanding groups (DfES, 2006), and differentiate their approach to different groups. The main argument in favor of setting pupils by ability tends to be that more able pupils need some form of separate grouping and an environment where they can freely be stretched to the maximum of their potential without feeling inhibited by their peers (Hallam Ireson, 2003; Hallam Ireson, 2005; Hallam, Rogers, Ireson, 2008). While analyzing significant rebellions within the American colonies, one aspect persists throughout: one culture s assumption that it is superior to another, prompting an attempt to impose that group s culture and way of life over the other. In Metacom s War, the Stono Rebellion, and the Salem Witch Trials, that common theme is evident and corresponds to Bailyn s quote, It was the intermingling of [barbarity] and developing civilization that is the central characteristic of the world that was emerging in America. However, the question remains: who are the barbarians and who are the civilized? In each of the rebellions there is a clear historical tendency to label groups; indeed, it must be noted that viewpoint is of utmost importance when evaluating such events, if one is to truly understand the plight of the barbarian and the civilized. That said, by dissecting the quote, and analyzing these three events, it is clear that each rebellion was the result of cultural ignorance and, as a consequence, a sort of death occurred in each culture for Metacom s war, culture and tradition, for Stono, African freedom, and for Salem, the Puritan utopia. The Cost Of Making All Public Higher Education Free Public Higher Education To determine the cost of making all public higher education free in America, we first need to look at how much we are currently spending. In 2008 9, there were 6.4 million full time equivalent undergraduate students enrolled in public universities and 4.3 million enrolled in community colleges.1 The following year, the average cost of tuition, room, and board for undergraduates at public four year institutions was $14,870; at two year public colleges, it was $7,629.2 If we multiply the number of students in each segment of public higher education by the average total cost, we discover that the cost of making all public universities free would have been $95 billion in 2009 10, with an annual cost of $33 ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Rather than directly funding public higher education institutions, state and federal governments have often relied on tax deductions and credits to support individual students. The tax code has been used to fund higher education because it is easier for Congress to pass a tax break than it is to get funding for a particular program, but what this system has achieved is a tremendous subsidy for upper middle class and wealthy families, while lower income students are forced to take out huge loans to pay for their education. According to a recent study: From 1999 to 2009, the govern ment spent $70 billion on tax breaks aimed at subsidizing higher educa tion for families . . . about 13 percent, or $9.4 billion, of that total went to families making more than $100,000 a year. At the same time, only 11 per cent went to the neediest families, those making less than $25,000. Fami lies in the middle those making between $25,000 and $99,999 received the lion s share of the aid, taking in slightly more than three quarters of the benefits. 5 Later the report indicates that more of the funding now goes to the wealthiest Americans: Nearly 83 percent of the higher education tax benefits distributed from 1999 to 2001 went to families earning less than $75,000 per year. The second disadvantage was that Sumer was a small region, and so the protection of the village was hard. The third and final disadvantage was that the natural resources of Sumer were extremely limited. Creating Solutions Over time, the people of Sumer created solutions to deal with the problems/disadvantages. To provide water, they dug irrigation ditches that carried river water to the fields, and allowed them to provide a surplus of crops. To defend the city/village, they built city walls with mud bricks. Then they traded with the people of the mountains and the desert for the products they lacked. They would trade their grain, cloth, and crafted tools for the stone, wood, and metal they needed to make tools and buildings. It took many people working together, like for the large irrigation systems. Leaders planned the projects and supervise the digging. The projects created the need for laws to settle disputes over how land and water was distributed. This was the beginning of an organized government. No architect before had ever attempted anything like this because it was near impossible for the audience to be close to the actors and get good acoustics. The reason the Teatro Olimpico was so innovative was because there was no blueprint for Palladio to follow. Palladio had to rely on his own intellect and ingenuity to complete this theater rather than fail like the countless people before him. After the project was completed it was deemed successful because the audience felt connected to the actors and had very good sound quality. Deep sea sounding on Challenger HMS Challenger sounding logs show that by September 1873, the Baillie was used to conduct most of Challenger s deep sea sounding work. Unlike a wire sounder tested and rejected earlier in the voyage, the Baillie sounder was able to move within the ship s existing system of instrumentation and materials. As with HMS Sylvia, sounding was conducted from the mainyard, and a steam engine on the deck helped to retrieve the sounder from the ocean floor. Similar to the Hydra, officers timed and calculated the Baillie s rate of decent. When the sounder slowed, the ocean s depth was ascertained by the length of the sounding line. 12. Other instruments It is often overlooked that the Baillie sounder worked as a system with other instruments. In addition to the sounder, several thermometers, a water collection bottle and a pressure gauge were often attached to the hemp sounding line. In this manner, the Baillie sounder worked in concert with several other instruments collecting information about the ocean floor. The ability of the Baillie sounder to transport sea floor materials to the surface was useful for the laying of telegraph cables, but also essential for scientific analysis. Samples of the ocean bottom provided key evidence for developing theories about life in the deep ocean, and how species evolved over time. For example, in 1865 zoologist Thomas Huxley claimed Bathybius haecklii was a type of primordial ooze that lived on the deep ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This has sadly created a divide between thousands of people, however the cause of this separation is simple. One side, whether it be the omnivores or the vegetarians, feels the need to impose its choices onto the other side. Both sides are at fault here, as the omnivores tell the vegetarians that they cannot get proper nutrients from a plant based diet, and the vegetarians try to tell the omnivores that they are torturing animals by killing them for food. The omnivores are wrong because, while it does require careful planning, vegetarians can easily get the nutrients they need, and the vegetarians are hypocritical because, as the article will show, farming kills thousands of creatures.
