The document contains the reflections of a student named Giacomo Pisa on primary research conducted through questionnaires for a school project on designing a hip hop magazine. The research covered topics like the target demographics, preferred content, pricing, and design elements. Key findings included that the target audience is primarily males ages 15-19, the magazine should be priced at £3 and released monthly, and feature artists like Drake, Kanye West, and Eminem. Free festival tickets emerged as the most popular potential prize promotion.
This is an analysis of my questionnaire, it shows the results of 94 people's answers and I have applied this to the content and information in my magazine.
A Strategic Approach: GenAI in EducationPeter Windle
Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies such as Generative AI, Image Generators and Large Language Models have had a dramatic impact on teaching, learning and assessment over the past 18 months. The most immediate threat AI posed was to Academic Integrity with Higher Education Institutes (HEIs) focusing their efforts on combating the use of GenAI in assessment. Guidelines were developed for staff and students, policies put in place too. Innovative educators have forged paths in the use of Generative AI for teaching, learning and assessments leading to pockets of transformation springing up across HEIs, often with little or no top-down guidance, support or direction.
This Gasta posits a strategic approach to integrating AI into HEIs to prepare staff, students and the curriculum for an evolving world and workplace. We will highlight the advantages of working with these technologies beyond the realm of teaching, learning and assessment by considering prompt engineering skills, industry impact, curriculum changes, and the need for staff upskilling. In contrast, not engaging strategically with Generative AI poses risks, including falling behind peers, missed opportunities and failing to ensure our graduates remain employable. The rapid evolution of AI technologies necessitates a proactive and strategic approach if we are to remain relevant.

The Roman Empire A Historical Colossus.pdfkaushalkr1407
The Roman Empire, a vast and enduring power, stands as one of history's most remarkable civilizations, leaving an indelible imprint on the world. It emerged from the Roman Republic, transitioning into an imperial powerhouse under the leadership of Augustus Caesar in 27 BCE. This transformation marked the beginning of an era defined by unprecedented territorial expansion, architectural marvels, and profound cultural influence.
The empire's roots lie in the city of Rome, founded, according to legend, by Romulus in 753 BCE. Over centuries, Rome evolved from a small settlement to a formidable republic, characterized by a complex political system with elected officials and checks on power. However, internal strife, class conflicts, and military ambitions paved the way for the end of the Republic. Julius Caesar’s dictatorship and subsequent assassination in 44 BCE created a power vacuum, leading to a civil war. Octavian, later Augustus, emerged victorious, heralding the Roman Empire’s birth.
Under Augustus, the empire experienced the Pax Romana, a 200-year period of relative peace and stability. Augustus reformed the military, established efficient administrative systems, and initiated grand construction projects. The empire's borders expanded, encompassing territories from Britain to Egypt and from Spain to the Euphrates. Roman legions, renowned for their discipline and engineering prowess, secured and maintained these vast territories, building roads, fortifications, and cities that facilitated control and integration.
The Roman Empire’s society was hierarchical, with a rigid class system. At the top were the patricians, wealthy elites who held significant political power. Below them were the plebeians, free citizens with limited political influence, and the vast numbers of slaves who formed the backbone of the economy. The family unit was central, governed by the paterfamilias, the male head who held absolute authority.
Culturally, the Romans were eclectic, absorbing and adapting elements from the civilizations they encountered, particularly the Greeks. Roman art, literature, and philosophy reflected this synthesis, creating a rich cultural tapestry. Latin, the Roman language, became the lingua franca of the Western world, influencing numerous modern languages.
Roman architecture and engineering achievements were monumental. They perfected the arch, vault, and dome, constructing enduring structures like the Colosseum, Pantheon, and aqueducts. These engineering marvels not only showcased Roman ingenuity but also served practical purposes, from public entertainment to water supply.

Macroeconomics- Movie Location
This will be used as part of your Personal Professional Portfolio once graded.
Objective:
Prepare a presentation or a paper using research, basic comparative analysis, data organization and application of economic information. You will make an informed assessment of an economic climate outside of the United States to accomplish an entertainment industry objective.
2. The first question highlights
how there was a variety of
age ranges answering my
questionnaire which is useful
in collecting different data
from different age ranges
and then analyzing it for the
best effect on my magazine.
From the chart it shows how
over half of the people who
answered it were teenagers
and this is useful as
teenagers are my main
target audience but it also
useful to get opinions from
those into their twenties and
early thirties as these ages
are also in my target
audience.
Question 1
3. Question 2
The second question was
asking where each person
would place themselves
according to the socio-
economic ladder and as from
the first question there was
a variety of different classes
that answered my
questionnaire. However the
majority of people who
answered the questionnaire
are from the ‘D’ category
which is the working class of
people. Therefore using this
data I should try to make my
magazine priced at a cheap
value so that these people
are able to buy the magazine
and therefore I will be able
to sell the most copies.
4. Question 3
Analyzing this result it
highlights how 80% of
people answering my
questionnaire were males.
Therefore I will try to
ensure that the content of
my magazine is male related
and more aimed at men, for
example more interviews
with male artists, more
male based adverts within
the magazine, for example
male clothing rather than
perfume.
5. Question 4
The evidence from this
question follows on from
the previous question which
is proving that the majority
of people believe Hip Hop
magazines are read by
males so therefore I will
ensure that I will ensure as I
stated in the previous slide
that I will primarily include
male artists content within
the magazine, especially on
the front cover. In addition
to this having more male
related adverts on the
pages. However I will not
make the magazine entirely
gender specific as I want to
maximise sales and
therefore I still need some
females to purchase the
magazine.
6. Question 5
I will be taking on board the
responses from this question because
they all state similar points about
what props they expect to be used on
the cover of my magazine. Most
answers point out how they would
like to see hoodies and jeans on the
cover of the magazine with lots of
“bling” jewellery as this is a typical
stereotype associated with the Hip
Hop genre. Therefore I will be taking
these answers on board and as
presented in other research
documents that I have completed my
model on the front will be wearing a
hoodie and have chains and tattoos to
convey a artist who looks like a Hip
Hop artist.
7. Question 6
Analysing question 6, over half of
answers said how they would expect a
new issue of a Hip Hop magazine to be
issue which is useful in telling me how
often I should issue a new magazine
because I should definitely not issue
one longer than every 2 months
because nobody opted for this option. I
could possibly explore the option of
releasing one every week or two weeks
as these options did collect a few votes.
However the overriding answer was
every month so therefore I will take
this information on board and issue a
new magazine every month. This is
especially aiding me in my decision as
prior to the survey I was debating
whether to issue a new one every two
weeks or every month but now after
the survey I know to release one every
month as this is the expectations of the
audience.
8. Question 7
This question helps me in deciding
what my magazine will be priced at
because exactly half of the people
who answered think that the
magazine should cost £3. Prior to
the surveys being carried out I was
going to price my magazine at
either £3.50 or £4 but now I have
been informed that this pricing
may be too much and people
would be discouraged form buying
a copy, therefore I will have to
follow the most popular demand
and price it at £3. I will definitely
not be pricing it at £1.50 or £2 like
a couple of people suggested
because it would mean I would not
be able to have enough good
content in the magazine for people
to continuously buy it. Moreover
this low price would not generate a
high enough profit for me because
my magazine is a monthly issue so
needs to be a bit pricier.
9. Question 8
Clearly from the responses
from this question the most
popular colour scheme for
me to use in my magazine is
Black and Red. However for
this particular part of the
magazine I will be sticking to
my magazine of inspiration
which has a red and white
colour scheme whilst the
background has a green and
pink background with one
colour on either side of the
main image. I chose this
magazine of inspiration
specifically because the
colours look good so
therefore I will not be using
the colour scheme that the
majority of people suggested
on the survey.
10. Question 9
The penultimate question on the
survey asked about what sort of
artists people would expect to see
in my magazine. Evidently there
was a range of different answers
but the most popular by twice as
many as the next most popular
was Drake. Therefore I will include
content about Drake in my
magazine as he is the most in
demand artist and therefore if I
include him in the magazine,
more people will be likely to buy
it. The next most popular were
Kanye West and Eminem so
therefore I will also be including
content relevant to these two
artists and the third most popular
choice was Kendrick Lamar so I
will add some content relevant to
him but not as much as the other
artists as he is not as in demand
by the target audience.
11. Question 10
This was the last question of the survey
and the answers I was given have aided me
in making up my mind on what sort of
promotion to include on the magazine.
Previously I was unsure whether the
promotion should be festival tickets or a
Spotify gift card but now analysing the
survey half of the people answering opted
for festival tickets as their favoured
promotion meaning I will be giving away
festival tickets as my puff promotion for
my magazine. The next most popular
choices were concert tickets and a Spotify
gift card and with this information possibly
in future issues of the magazine I will use
these as my puff promotion and with only
one vote for a free year apple music I will
not be using it in my magazine as it is not
the unique selling point that free festival
tickets as these are a much more
attractive prospect of a prize meaning that
more people are likely to buy the magazine
if my puff promotion is free festival tickets.
12. What is your gender?
Male
Female
Question 1
From the questionnaires that I gave out to various people this chart connotes how
the vast majority of people who answered my questionnaire were males which is
similar to the survey monkey result and using this I will try to make the content in the
magazine male related in the content that I include such as male artist interviews,
male related adverts and male related promotions to encourage more males to read
the magazine to ensure that the magazine is appropriate to my target audience which
is primarily males and moreover to generate as much profit as possible.
13. How old are you?
10-14 years
15-19 years
20-24 years
25-29 years
30+ years
Question 2
This question highlights how most of those who answered my questionnaire were
between the ages of 15-19 which the main target audience for my magazine
however it also targets those in their twenties up to early thirties. I received a lot
of feedback from 15-19 year olds and some from 20-24 year olds however none
over the age of 25 and these are still in my target audience so for my magazine I
will have to be innovative and create content I think is suitable for over 25 year
olds as well as taking on board the feedback I got from 15-19 and 20-24 year olds.
14. What gender would you primarily
associate with a Hip Hop magazine?
Male
Female
Question 3
The next question asked about who would people primarily associate
with reading Hip Hop magazine and the answers proved how
everyone who answered the survey thought it was males who read
Hip Hop magazine. Therefore I will definitely make sure my content is
suited to males by making sure as I said previously the content is male
related to make my magazine appeal to primarily males.
15. Would a puff promotion play a factor in
you purchasing a magazine?
Yes
No
Question 4
The fourth question on the questionnaire asked if a puff promotion would
play a factor in the person purchasing a magazine and evidently from the
chart the answer was yes for nearly everybody answering. Therefore using
this information I will include a puff promotion that is very appealing such
as free festival tickets to be won for someone who purchases a copy. As a
result this will entice more people to buy a copy of the magazine which will
generate a higher profit.
16. What sort of puff promotion would you
expect on the front of a Hip Hop
magazine?
Free concert
tickets
Spotify gift card
Free Apple music
membership
Free festival
tickets
Question 5
The following question that people answered in my research was what sort of puff promotion
would people expect to see on the front cover of a Hip Hop magazine and half the people,
making it the most popular choice was free concert tickets. There were no votes for free festival
tickets which from my survey monkey was the most favoured promotion people would like to
see. Therefore I may have to reconsider having free festival tickets as my puff promotion
because if people don’t expect to see it, there is not much point in having it, therefore it could
be a better idea to have free convert tickets as my puff promotion as this is what people expect
to see on the front cover of a Hip Hop magazine.
17. How often would you expect a new Hip
Hop magazine to be released?
Every week
Every 2 weeks
Every month
Every 2 months
Every 3 months
Every 6 months
Every year
Question 6
The next question in the survey questioned how often people would expect a new Hip
Hop magazine to be released with the most popular choice being every two weeks. This
differs from the analysis from my survey monkey where most people expected a new
magazine to be issued every month. However there were still a number of votes for
every month in the questionnaire as well as most of the votes in the survey monkey.
Therefore I am going to go with this information and release an issue every month
because I feel every two weeks is too frequent and after a while it will be hard to find
content.
18. How much would you expect to pay for a
Hip Hop magazine?
£1.50
£2
£2.50
£3
£3.50
£4
£4.50
£5 or more
Question 7
The information I gathered from this question was that most people
expected to pay £3 for a magazine which is the same as the survey
monkey analysis. However I feel that £3 is too cheap considering my
magazine of inspiration is £4.50 and it is only a monthly magazine so
therefore I am going to price my magazine at £3.50 to generate more
profit as I am able to include the best content possible ensuring more
people will buy the magazine.
19. What sort of artists would you expect to
feature in a Hip Hop magazine?
J Cole
Kanye West
Drake
Kendrick Lamar
Question 8
This question asked what sort of artists people would expect to see on a
feature in a Hip Hop magazine and evidently, as seen from the chart there
was a diverse response. This is useful because it means I can include a
number of different artists in the magazine because this means that I will
generate more star appeal and as a result more people will buy my
magazine and therefore it will generate more profit.
20. What is the most important feature to a
front cover?
Masthead
Strapline
Main Image
Cover Lines
Puff Promotion
Question 9
The penultimate question from the questionnaire asks what the most
important feature is of a front cover and I am in complete agreement with the
questionnaire. Virtually everyone stated the most important feature to a front
cover is the main image making it an absolute necessity to include a main
image that is large and stands out and is very good quality. To do this I will
need to use Photoshop and specifically the magic wand tool for sharp edges
and a good finish.
21. What would you suggest as a colour
scheme for a Hip Hop magazine?
Black and Red
Black and White
Blue and Black
Blue and White
Question 10
The most popular choicer or colour scheme for a Hip Hop
magazine is Black and Red and therefore these are primarily the
colours that I will be using for my magazine. This was also the
most popular choice from the survey monkey and is also the
colour scheme from my magazine of inspiration. However my
magazine of inspiration also has a green and pink background
which I will be replicating in my magazine front cover.
