This 135-hour English course at CEFR B1 level aims to develop communication skills. Students will speak to improve fluency and accuracy, learn grammar, read texts, listen to audio, and write for various purposes. The course uses the textbook "English File Intermediate" and requires students to read and submit a report on at least one additional book. Students will be continuously assessed with in-class work, assignments, and oral tasks. Exams include a mock exam in February and a certification exam in May or June testing reading, listening, writing, oral interaction, and mediation skills. An average of 60% is needed to pass. The course is taught Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:30-4

4.  Develop communication in many situations.
 Speak and improve fluency and accuracy.
 Learn grammar (tenses, modal verbs, gerunds and infinitives,
conditionals, prepositions, types of sentences (result, reason,
purpose, etc.), adverbs, articles, adjectives (comparatives and
superlatives), etc., and vocabulary for everyday use.
 Read texts (books, internet (press, websites, etc.)
 Listen (interviews, YouTube, radio, news, TV, documentary
extracts)
 Write (emails, descriptions, stories, letters of complaint,
book/film review, pros and cons, CV and covering letter).

14.  PRUEBA DE CERTIFICACIÓN will test each of the
following four skills: An average of 60% is needed to pass
the course.
 If all of them are passed in May (or June), the course is
passed.
 If in a maximum of three skills a minimum of 5 is obtained,
the course is also passed if the average is 60% or above.
 In June, only the skills that haven’t been passed in May
must be retaken.

 Until mid October: “permuta”, look for another student who
