Course Description
 This is an elective course chosen by
students interested in the introductory
level of Spanish. At this level,
students will study pronunciation,
grammar, and vocabulary to develop
the ability to understand, read, and
write simple Spanish. It is structured
to develop a solid foundation of the
four basic skills with major emphasis
on the oral and written communitive
skills and understanding of Hispanic
culture.
 Location: CLASSROOM
 Lectures: Mon-Wed-Fri at 10:00 am
 Labs: Tues-Thurs at 10:00 am
 Office Hours: After Class/By
Appointment.
 Prerequisites: NONE
 Credits: 3

Attendance Policy
“Be on time and show up.”
 The primary attendance policy will go along with the hand book; however,
your attendance will be part of your grade as a whole.
 NO TARDIES, NO ABSENCES = 10pts added to final exam or project
 ONLY EXCUSED TARDIES & ABSENCES = 5pts added
 EXCEED # OF TARDIES & ABSENCES ALLOWED = 1pt. Taken off per tardy
or absence exceeded.
