  • 19. STAGE OF INQUIRY STUDENT’S ROLE PARENT’S ROLE TUNING IN Reflect on topics of your interest. Research for general information. Give suggestions. Share your own interests FINDING OUT Find information in a variety of sources. Conduct interviews, surveys, visit factories, companies, organizations… Keep a record and document the process. Reference all your sources. Give suggestions. Help get in contact. If possible, take them to places they need to visit. GENERALIZING Review the documenattion of your inquiry. Reach logical conclusions, justified with your investigations. Suggest and encourage. Give direction so that they may reach answers and conclusions on their own. TAKING ACTION Take your conclusions to practice: create a product, a petition, a model…, write a letter for an important person… Help out with materials and transport. EXHIBITION – OPEN DAY Prepare a presentation with the audiovisual materials needed to communicate the process and product you created and your learning. Help out with materials and preparation.
