5. PLAN FOR DAY OF SHOOTING
■ This is going to be our first time filming the scene in the park and that is partially
due to the constant change in weather, hence when picking a day to film we had
to constantly check the weather forecast. We are planning on filming in the park
after straight after school when it is still daylight. We then plan on finishing at
approximately 5/5:30pm as we know that afterwards it becomes dark and that
will interfere with the lighting of our shots. Additionally we do not want our actors
to be acting in cold conditions by which they may not be able to perform to their
full potential. As the director I will speak with my group and actors prior to the
time we were going to film to ensure everyone understand what we are going to
film first, what they need to wear and whether the actors are sure on their roles.
6. THE OUTCOME/ AFTER FILMING
■ Shortly after filming we realised that we had to film this scene as quickly as possible
and as frequently as the weather was constantly changing. After filming we
gathering a lot of footage for the beginning part of the scene between the two
actors playing basketball. However we did have to re-film a few times due to the
actors failing to keep the basketball in the frame. However eventually we had a
lot of footage.
■ In the future we will be sure to film for longer and at n earlier to time in order to
avoid darkness.
