The document discusses the risks assessed for filming scenes of a music video. It outlines plans to ensure the health and safety of actors, including rearranging schedules if anyone falls ill and cannot perform at their best. Logistics are also considered, such as wearing proper shoes for the walk to the outdoor location, securing equipment for transport, filming at an appropriate time of day with enough light, and dressing for cold and windy weather. Rescheduling is the backup plan if the weather changes drastically or anyone cannot make their scheduled filming day.
1. Risk Assesment.
During filming or the set of recording, there are many risks that could come about. By writing this
assessment I’m making sure that the health and safety of everyone who is a part of my music video
will be fine. I will also use this assessment to raise questions to my actors in case there is anything I
should know, or if there is anything they are against.
Scene 2: The Flash Backs
If any of my actors were to become ill we would have to rearrange for when we could film,
as an injury or accident could come about if someone were to perform when they were not
at their fullest ability. However this may result in my work falling behind in schedule, so I
would try to shoot a different scene that day – one that would not need the person in
question.
It’s quite a walk to the location that I decided to film the flashback scenes, so I again need to
make sure that both my actors would wear sensible shoes. This is especially since we would
have to walk up hill. Also because of this I must make sure that my camera and tripod would
be safe as I carried them, so I will secured them tightly in their casing before setting off.
I will make sure that the time of day would be appropriate for both the filming and for when
people had to go home. Keeping this in mind I would probably start filming just as it came to
the late afternoon, so that when we finished filming it would still be light as we walked back
and went home.
There are no props needed in these scenes of my music video so I had nothing to worry
about when it came to the performance by my actors.
For the weather I knew that it would at least be windy in the location where I wanted to film
this scene, so I made sure that my actors both dressed for cold weather whilst sticking to
the looks of their characters. This wasn’t very difficult, however, as I only needed them to
seem like a casual couple. I also checked the weather regularly on the internet for our area
as it lead up to when we were going to film. If it ever changed dramatically – for the worst –
I would rearrange the day that we would be filming.
If anyone one lets me down by not being able to turn up for a pre-arranged day of filming,
then I will again be at risk of falling behind on deadlines and work flow. Again, I will try to
rearrange things so that I could film something else at that time, something that does not
include the person that could not make it.
