Change management provides a structured approach to supporting employees through organizational changes. It guides how to prepare, equip and support individuals to successfully adopt changes needed to drive organizational success. While projects may require process, role, structure or technology changes, it is ultimately employees who must change how they work. Change management aims to help employees transition from their current ways of working to new future states.

Agility as a movement started with software developers uncovering better ways of doing what they do. Today that movement is driving even business leaders to rethink how they lead their organizations. What does it mean to "be" agile? How can agility be applied to leading organizations? Where do successful agile leaders start? Three stories, three secrets and three tips to apply agility to your life and work.
Agile Transformations, the Good, the Bad and the UglyRally Software
The good, the bad and the ugly side of real life agile transformations. Wanda will share with you common challenges experienced by organisations during their agile journeys and provide you with key learnings that you can adopt within your own company.
in 2018, Dr Cherry Vu (T.S. Vũ Anh Đào) and Rob England started travelling from New Zealand to Vietnam, to teach, coach, and consult to senior executives and owners on business agility, calling themselves Teal Unicorn. Their dozens of clients range from twenty to twenty thousand employees, in industries such as food, real estate, wholesale, retail, manufacturing, logistics, and banking. When COVID hit, they pivoted to serving Vietnam online from Wellington (and from their caravan travelling around the country).
The results their clients get are so good that they have difficulty overcoming the justifiable scepticism of anything written by a consultancy about themselves. In Vietnamese, Cherry has tens of thousands of followers, is a best selling author, and is overloaded with work. In English, not so much. They've written two books that both get 5-star ratings but aren't widely known. Even an article in the BAI's quarterly Journal Emergence has been met largely with silence.
In this presentation, they share those fantastic results and answer your questions. They want you to know that business agility really works.

Power corrupts. It's rude to point. Combine the two - power, point - and the results can be downright disastrous. It doesn't have to be that way.
The Pedagogy of PowerPoint shows you what to do (and what not to do) in your next presentation. You'll learn:

* Why it's important to rev up your presentation prowess.
* How to utilize screen real estate and physical space for maximum impact.
* And much more.

39. Things You Need to Know About Bullet Points
• This is a Bullet Point
• It is boring
• And linear and hierarchical which some people might need (or think
they need).
• Very often bullet points are way too long and are written in
passive voice and complete sentences. Also, speakers tend to
read each and every word on the slide.
• Reading (300 WPM) is usually faster than talking (120 WPM to
200 WPM)
• That’s why you’re already here
• I’m probably not

40. Things You Need to Know About Bullet Points (cont’d)
• In a lecture by Dr. Chris Atherton, she detailed why bullet
points are ineffective.
• Switching between reading and listening and processing is
called Task Switching
• Task switching is cognitively exhausting
• I am quite tired right now, actually.
• So the takeaway here is to limit the extraneous load of your
presentation (citation: https://blog.slideshare.net/2015/08/31/the-
scientific-reason-why-bullets-are-bad-for-presentations)

49. Why “OCM”?
• When your organization undertakes projects or initiatives, they often require
changes; changes to processes, job roles, organizational structures and types and
uses of technology.
• However, it is actually the employees of your organization who have to ultimately
change how they do their jobs.
• Change management is the discipline that guides how we prepare, equip and
support individuals to successfully adopt change in order to drive organizational
success and outcomes.
• Change management provides a structured approach for supporting the
individuals in your organization to move from their own current states to their own
future states.

83. Yawning, and smearing my eyes with my fingers, I walked bleary eyed into the kitchen
and grabbed the kettle, unhooking it from the cord. I turned the tap and drew fresh
water, checking with my hands to make sure it was cold enough (the best tea comes
from the coldest water!). I filled the kettle as I glanced outside for a minute across the
city mist. I could almost taste the grey. The kettle was half full, so I switched the tap off
and returned it to its socket. I flicked the power switch on and sifted through the
cupboards, looking for biscuits. Anything above loose crumbs would do.Thankfully I
found some fusty digestives. For some reason, biscuits are nicer always nicer when
they're they've gone a bit dry and stale. I reached over and opened the fridge,
retrieving the milk. I poured a little into a mug at the same time as grabbing the mug
from the cupboard and placing it on the surface. This is a technique I made that
doesn't really save any time, but makes me feel clever. The kettle began grumbling
fiercely so I took it from the cord, threw a teabag into my cup and poured boiling
water onto it. I watched brown swirls rise up and through the muted white of milky
water. A few minutes passed. I removed and squeezed the teabag, then flicked it into
the bin. I picked up my mug and left the kitchen with a nice, hot cup of strong tea.

91. Classified in the division Magnoliophyta, class Magnoliopsida, order Sapindales,
family Rutaceaenative. Native to China and Indochina. Its physical characteristics
(especially the rich citric acid and vitamin content) and history of cultivation are
similar to those of the other types of citrus fruits. Among the commercially important
species are C. sinensis, which furnishes most of the varieties for commercial growing,
including the Baiá; the C. aurantium, which is grown in the United States chiefly as
understock on which to bud sweet varieties; the C. reticulata or nobilis, or the "kid
glove," group. They hybridize freely. Flowers and fruits in all stages of development
are on the tree throughout the year, although a large portion of the fruits ripen at one
time. It is attacked by many insects and fungus diseases and is quite sensitive to frost.
If the fruits are picked when still "green" (though fully mature), they must undergo a
bleaching or degreening process to bring out the color in their rinds. Some are
artificially colored and waxed before marketing. Some varieties yield essential oils
used in perfume. The flower is a favorite for bridal decoration. The yellow wood,
which is hard and close-grained, is manufactured into small articles.
