The Rotter Incomplete Sentences Blank is a projective psychological test developed by Julian B. Rotter. It comes in three forms (for different age groups) and comprises 40 incomplete sentences usually only 1–2 words long, such as "I regret ..." and "Mostly girls ...".
The Rotter Incomplete Sentences Blank (RISB) is the most frequently used sentence completion test of personality and socioemotional functioning. A performance-based test, the RISB is used to screen for adjustment problems, to facilitate case conceptualization and diagnosis, and to monitor treatment. The Rorschach Inkblot Test, the TAT, the RISB, and the C-TCB are all forms of projective tests.
The Rotter Incomplete Sentences Blank is an attempt to standardize the sentence completion method for the use at college level. Forty items are completed by the subject. These completions are then scored by comparing them against typical items in empirically derived scoring manuals for men and women and by assigning to each response a scale value from 0 to 6. The total score is an index of maladjustment.
The sentence completion method of studying personality is a semi structured projective technique in which the subject is asked to finish a sentence for which the first word or words are supplied. As in other projective devices, it is assumed that the subject reflects his own wishes, desires, fears and attitudes in the sentences he makes. Historically, the incomplete sentence method is related most closely to the word association test. In some test incomplete sentences tests only a single word or brief response is called for; the major differences appears to be in the length of the stimulus. In the sentence completion tests, tendencies to block and to twist the meaning of the stimulus words appear and the responses may be categorized in a somewhat similar fashion to the word association method.
The Incomplete Sentences Blank can be used, of course, for general interpretation with a variety of subjects in much the same manner that a clinician trained in dynamic psychology uses any projective material. However, a feature of ISB is that one can derive a single over-all adjustment score. This over-all adjustment score is of particular value for screening purposes with college students and in experimental studies. The ISB has also been used in a vocational guidance center to select students requiring broader counseling than was usually given, in experimental studies of the effect of psychotherapy and in investigations of the relationship of adjustment to a variety of variables.

Judicial Islamization in Pakistan : Development of Jurisprudence and Implemen...Omer Akif
Since gaining independence from Colonial India, Pakistan came about as most historians believe as a result of an attempt to seek a separate homeland for Muslims of the subcontinent to protect their religious and other communal interests. It then adopted a quasi-theocratic model of state based on Islamic principles. The adoption of the Objectives Resolution and declaration of Islam as the religion of the state in the Constitution reinforced the centrality of the Islamic faith in governing the many structures and branches of the state. This subsequently led to the creation of various institutions such as the Federal Shariat Court, The Council of Islamic Ideology alongside Shariat Benches in the four provincial high courts and a Shariat Appellate Bench in the Supreme Court. These were essentially established to bring the law of the land in conformity with injunctions of the Holy Qur’an and Sunnah and to declare any laws repugnant to them as void and unconstitutional. The present essay explores the development and scope of two of these institutions, namely, the Federal Shariat Court and the Shariat Appellate Bench in terms of the extent of their jurisdiction, their expanding role in different legal domains and briefly highlighting the nature of their power and methodological tools they employ to reach the conclusions that they do.

India maintains a common law legal system inherited from the colonial era and
various legislations first introduced by the British are still in effect in modified
forms today. During the drafting of the Indian Constitution, Indian laws also
adhere to the United Nations guidelines on human rights law and the
environmental law. Certain international trade laws, such as those on intellectual property, are also enforced in India. Indian personal law is fairly complex, with each religion adhering to its own specific laws. In most states, registering of
marriages and divorces is not compulsory. Separate laws govern Hindus, Muslims, Christians, and followers of other religions.

The Art Pastor's Guide to Sabbath | Steve ThomasonSteve Thomason
What is the purpose of the Sabbath Law in the Torah. It is interesting to compare how the context of the law shifts from Exodus to Deuteronomy. Who gets to rest, and why?
We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

The French Revolution, which began in 1789, was a period of radical social and political upheaval in France. It marked the decline of absolute monarchies, the rise of secular and democratic republics, and the eventual rise of Napoleon Bonaparte. This revolutionary period is crucial in understanding the transition from feudalism to modernity in Europe.

2. Pakistan Penel code:
• The Pakistan Penal Code (Urdu: پاکستان تعزیرات مجموعہ
; Majmū'ah-
yi ta'zīrāt-i Pākistān), abbreviated as PPC, is a penal code for
all offences charged in Pakistan. It was originally prepared by
Lord Macaulay with a great consultation in 1860 on the behalf of
the Government of India as the Indian Penal Code. After the
independence in 1947, Pakistan inherited the same code and
subsequently after several amendments by different
governments, in Pakistan it is now a mixture of Islamic and
English Law. Presently, the Pakistan Penal Code is still in effect
and can be amended by the Parliament of Pakistan.[1]
3. Man and law:
Rule of man[a] (where "man" is used in a genderless manner[6])
is a type of personal rule in an unaccountable rebounded
society where rules change from ruler to ruler
4. Rape:
Section 375
Section 375 of the Pakistan Penal
Code (PPC), as amended by the
Criminal Law (Amendment)
Ordinance, 2020, now includes
within the definition of the offence
object rape, penetration of and
through body parts other than
genitalia.
5. Shariah:
• Sharia is Islam's legal system.
• It is derived from the Quran, Islam's holy book, as well as the Sunnah and Hadith - the
deeds and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad.Where an answer cannot be derived
directly from these, religious scholars may give rulings as guidance on a particular topic or
question.
• Sharia can inform every aspect of daily life for a Muslim.
• For example, a Muslim wondering what to do if their colleagues invite them to the pub
after work may turn to a Sharia scholar for advice to ensure they act within the legal
framework of their religion.
• Other areas of daily life where Muslims may turn to Sharia for guidance include family law,
finance and business.
6. Sexual harassment:
Section 509
Section 509 of the Penal Code
(amended in February 2010)
gives a definition of sexual
harassment. It also extends the
definition not only to the
workplace, but also to private
spaces such as homes, and to
public spaces, such as streets,
buses, markets and parks.
