INTRODUCTION
 An energy crises may be refer to as electricity shortage and
electricity crises. An alternative energy source is required which
is cheap no natural input source is required to generate
electricity
 In this project a mechanism to generate electricity by converting
the potential energy which is generating by vehicles and man
walking on the street
 A vehicle weighing 1000 kg going on such a speed breakers
produce approximately 0.98 kilowatt power
 The number of vehicles on the road increasing rapidly and if we
convert some of the potential energy of these vehicles pass on
such speed breakers in a busy road where about 100 vehicles
pass every minute about 1 kilowatt of electricity can be produce
every single minute
 When a person walk he lose energy to the road this energy can
be tapped and converted in the usable form such as an
electrical form

PIEZO KNOCK SENSOR
A knock sensor is a sensor which produces a voltage in
response to some type of physical stress such as a knock or
vibration. This is why it's called a knock sensor; it detects
knocks.
This sensor can be useful when you want a circuit to be able
to respond to knocks that a user makes against them to turn
on or off some load.
For example, in the circuit we will build in this project, an
LED will light when a knock or vibration is detected.

FSRs are two-wire devices with a resistance that depends on
applied force.

WORKING OF PIEZO SENSOR
On footstep we are using Piezo sensor. For example, in
the circuit we will build in this project, an LED will light
when a knock or vibration is detected. Specifically, for
this circuit, we will connect the knock sensor and an LED
to the arduino microcontroller. When the sensor detects
a knock, the microcontroller will then turn on an LED for
5 seconds, then shut it off. Piezo sensor is placed on
garden The Piezo sensor has 2 leads, a positive lead and
a negative lead. It is a polarized electronic component, so
polarity must be observed in order for the sensor to
work correctly in a circuit. The red lead is the positive
lead and the black lead is the negative lead. The red lead
connects to analog pin A0 on the arduino board and the
black lead connects to the GND terminal on the arduino.
Positive leg of LED is connected to the 13 on the arduino
and negative leg of LED is connected to the ground and
resistance. While tapping on Piezo sensor LED will glow
which means Piezo detect vibrations and generate
electricity.
WORKING OF FORCE SENSOR
FSRs are two-wire devices with a resistance that depends
on applied force. FSR's are basically a resistor that
changes its resistive value (in ohms Ω) depending on how
much its pressed. Force sensor is placed on the road.
Connect the legs to the two vertical channels on the
breadboard. Right leg of FSR attach 10kohm resistor that
connect to another vertical channel. The other leg of the
resistance should is connect to the ground. In the Right
leg FSR channel, also attached a wire that connects A0
on the arduino. The other lead of force sensor is
connected by another jumper which is taking out from
the one side of the resistance. 5V is applying on the
breadboard from arduino. And also ground it from
arduino port. Another resistance (270 ohm) is connected
to the +ve leg of the LED. Ground the –ve leg of LED. Take
out one jumper from 12 port of arduino and is connected
to the resistance which is connected with LED. While
Appling force on Force sensor FSR LED will glow which
means sensor is detecting and generating electricity.

FUTURE
Future work would consist of a redesign of this
model to see exactly how much data we may be
missing with the assumption that we made with
low price, weight and capacity. Despite all the
assumptions, we still have realized that this
product can be very marketable and that the
demand is extremely large which means this is a
viable design that will yield a high return on an
investment
CONCLUSION
Energy is important part to retain the industrial
production rate and the progress of any country.
The conventional sources are reducing day by day
and by the turn of century, we have to depend
upon the non-conventional sources of energy such
as solar energy, wind energy, biogas etc. We can
also increase the growth of country by installing
speed breaker in heavy traffic roads and toll plaza.
The crises of electricity can be reducing by
applying these two techniques

  • 2. INTRODUCTION  An energy crises may be refer to as electricity shortage and electricity crises. An alternative energy source is required which is cheap no natural input source is required to generate electricity  In this project a mechanism to generate electricity by converting the potential energy which is generating by vehicles and man walking on the street  A vehicle weighing 1000 kg going on such a speed breakers produce approximately 0.98 kilowatt power  The number of vehicles on the road increasing rapidly and if we convert some of the potential energy of these vehicles pass on such speed breakers in a busy road where about 100 vehicles pass every minute about 1 kilowatt of electricity can be produce every single minute  When a person walk he lose energy to the road this energy can be tapped and converted in the usable form such as an electrical form

SWOT ANALYSIS • Pollution free power generation • Low budget electricity production • It gives low electricity output. • Maintainanen ce costly. • We have to check mechanism from time to time. • By doing proper arrangement we may generate high power electricity. • Source of great profit • Lack of resources • Low quality material • It can rust in rainy season

PRICE • It aims at reducing the cost of generation of power by consuming cheap resources so that power is made available at low economic prices to the country through these technologies. PLACE • We can spread this product in different countries. The page of our product on fb provides an easy access for concerned with us to get connected with us and discuss about any related projects. PROMOTION • Promotion has always been the most important determinant.. We can promote our product by making effective advertisement by applying different ideas. We can also implement new innovative ideas in our product by publishing it on different pages. 4 P’S

  • 7. COMPONENTS • SENSOR (Piezo Knock senor, Force sensor FSR 402) • Arduino UNO • Breadboard • Resistance (270 ohm, 10Kohm) • Wires • LED’S
  • 8. PIEZO KNOCK SENSOR A knock sensor is a sensor which produces a voltage in response to some type of physical stress such as a knock or vibration. This is why it's called a knock sensor; it detects knocks. This sensor can be useful when you want a circuit to be able to respond to knocks that a user makes against them to turn on or off some load. For example, in the circuit we will build in this project, an LED will light when a knock or vibration is detected.

  • 14. WORKING OF PIEZO SENSOR On footstep we are using Piezo sensor. For example, in the circuit we will build in this project, an LED will light when a knock or vibration is detected. Specifically, for this circuit, we will connect the knock sensor and an LED to the arduino microcontroller. When the sensor detects a knock, the microcontroller will then turn on an LED for 5 seconds, then shut it off. Piezo sensor is placed on garden The Piezo sensor has 2 leads, a positive lead and a negative lead. It is a polarized electronic component, so polarity must be observed in order for the sensor to work correctly in a circuit. The red lead is the positive lead and the black lead is the negative lead. The red lead connects to analog pin A0 on the arduino board and the black lead connects to the GND terminal on the arduino. Positive leg of LED is connected to the 13 on the arduino and negative leg of LED is connected to the ground and resistance. While tapping on Piezo sensor LED will glow which means Piezo detect vibrations and generate electricity.
  • 15. WORKING OF FORCE SENSOR FSRs are two-wire devices with a resistance that depends on applied force. FSR's are basically a resistor that changes its resistive value (in ohms Ω) depending on how much its pressed. Force sensor is placed on the road. Connect the legs to the two vertical channels on the breadboard. Right leg of FSR attach 10kohm resistor that connect to another vertical channel. The other leg of the resistance should is connect to the ground. In the Right leg FSR channel, also attached a wire that connects A0 on the arduino. The other lead of force sensor is connected by another jumper which is taking out from the one side of the resistance. 5V is applying on the breadboard from arduino. And also ground it from arduino port. Another resistance (270 ohm) is connected to the +ve leg of the LED. Ground the –ve leg of LED. Take out one jumper from 12 port of arduino and is connected to the resistance which is connected with LED. While Appling force on Force sensor FSR LED will glow which means sensor is detecting and generating electricity.

  • 22. FUTURE Future work would consist of a redesign of this model to see exactly how much data we may be missing with the assumption that we made with low price, weight and capacity. Despite all the assumptions, we still have realized that this product can be very marketable and that the demand is extremely large which means this is a viable design that will yield a high return on an investment
  • 23. CONCLUSION Energy is important part to retain the industrial production rate and the progress of any country. The conventional sources are reducing day by day and by the turn of century, we have to depend upon the non-conventional sources of energy such as solar energy, wind energy, biogas etc. We can also increase the growth of country by installing speed breaker in heavy traffic roads and toll plaza. The crises of electricity can be reducing by applying these two techniques
