Poverty remains a global problem, depriving many of basic needs like food, water, shelter, and education. Over 800 million people face hunger each night and nearly 50,000 people die daily due to poverty-related causes. Poverty also contributes to issues like terrorism, human trafficking, child labor, and disease outbreaks. Long term solutions are needed that teach skills and self-sufficiency rather than just temporary aid. Governments and individuals can help by prioritizing anti-poverty programs, raising awareness, and donating time and resources to address local poverty-related problems.

3. Numbers speak louder than words! One third of deaths - some 18 million people a year or 50,000 per day - are due to poverty-related causes. Every year nearly 11 million children living in poverty die before their fifth birthday. There are over 100 million street children worldwide. 800 million people go to bed hungry every night.

4. Effects of Poverty Terrorism Human Trafficking - $32 billion market Child labor - 218 million children aged 5 to 17 are in child labor worldwide. Burglary Drug abuse Road Accidents - 100 million street children worldwide. Floods - Bad drainage system accumulates water. Diseases - AIDS, malaria, tuberculosis, etc.
