A 35-year-old female presented with a progressively enlarging neck mass over 15 months. Ultrasound revealed an aneurysm of the left external jugular vein. The aneurysm was surgically excised through a supraclavicular incision. Venous aneurysms of the neck can involve the internal or external jugular veins and can lead to complications like pulmonary embolism if not treated. Ultrasound is a useful non-invasive tool to evaluate such aneurysms.
