The author asked an audience for feedback on a movie poster to identify strengths and weaknesses. The audience responded positively to the strong colors that stood out and contrasted well, making the poster eye-catching, as well as the conventional horror genre image. Weaknesses included a lack of reviews to engage audiences and an ineffective billing block. Based on this feedback, the author added a review to make the poster more appealing.

1. Poster
I asked the audience what they thought about my
poster to see if they found it effective and was
interested in the poster. I asked them what was
good and bad about the poster to see what I
could change and improve but also to see what
went well.
Strengths
The audience felt that the colours was very strong
element within the poster. The colours all stood
out and contrasted well with each other. This
made the poster very eye-catching. The audience
felt that the image was very conventional and
fitted in with the horror genre. The use of editing
within the eye and the hand element was well
received. The poster represented and promoted
the film.

2. Weaknesses
The improvements for my poster was to add a
review as this would engage the audience. I
therefore added in the review to make it as
appealing as possible. The audience also felt that
the billing block could be clearer and more
effective.
