Strukton Systems has developed a standalone Track-N-Trace unit that can track the location of rolling stock, equipment, and other objects without external power or connections. The unit uses GPS and cellular networks to determine its location and transmit the coordinates to owners upon request. It has a built-in battery that allows for at least one year of use without maintenance. The Track-N-Trace unit provides a logistics tool to easily monitor equipment locations in real-time.
