3. Style Sheet
• I want my title to stand so I will use one of the 3D fonts for my title. I am
particularly fond of the Wedgie font because it looks like a guitar pedal so I
will probably use the Wedgie font to advertise the guitar pedal article
and Sakuwak font for the title. I will use the Go Soul and Chicago Eskimo
because they very similar but slightly different so I may swap them for each
half of the blob in the article. Both of these fonts are music relented, the Go
Soul for looks like it would be used on a 60s album cover and the Chicago
Eskimo looks like the font a hip-hop album would use. Using both of these
fonts will put emphasises on the variation of different genres of music the dio
making at the moment. For the cover I will have a picture of the musicians and
behind them I will place the repeating line pattern behind them or the sheet
music pattern. My magazine is aimed at a younger modern audience so many
of the articles will be about music that is made using electronic equipment.
Keeping this in mind I may use the font Technology in green in some sections
because it looks like calculator or code font. Depending on the amount of time
I have to complete the task I may have an advert for a metal album or tour for
which I will use Paul's 3D Tribal font. Will use orange and blue for the article
but a similar alternative colour would be yellow and blue because they are
also colours on opposite sides of the colour wheel and are stronger
colours.
