2. Shots
Medium Shot
The medium shot is where we can see the knees to the top of
the head all in one shot. This allows the audience to pick up the
characters movements and body language
Low Angle Shot
The low angle shot has been taken from a low angle. This shot
makes the character look powerful and established dominance
to the audience
Close Up Shot
The close up shot allows the audience to see the characters
facial expression clearly and stay more connected and this shot
makes the character the main focus
Medium Close Up Shot
The medium close up shot is similar to the medium shot
however it is as shot from the waist up to the head and is still a
shot closer up to the artist all together. This shot is good
because as well as it allowing the audience to pick up the
characters movements and gestures it also allows the audience
to pick up facial expressions

10. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
SD Card full Delete previous footage that is on the card or I
don’t need or use another SD card which isn’t
full.
Camera battery dies have a couple of spare camera battery's
already charged up so that if the current one
dies then you have spare ones to use.
Camera isn’t working Use a spare camera and make sure it works
before you go out and film the music video.
Microphone doesn’t pick up audio Try and change the microphone battery and if
the microphone still doesn't’t work then use
another microphone or just stick with the
camera microphone.
Loose the footage Make sure that you back the footage up in
multiple ways i.e. on a usb stick, online storage
etc.
SD Card is corrupt try not to damage the sd card and don’t use a
cheap sd card
11. Health and Safety
Potential Issue How will the issue be
avoided?
Might bump into objects/people whilst
holding camera.
Be aware of your surroundings and don’t get
distracted.
Falling objects and equipment Make sure all items are secured and that there's
no loose items so that none of the equipment
falls on anyone
Fall into the Artist Make sure that the camera is stable and that
the artist is combatable
Might trip over objects Before filming walk around where your going
to shoot the video and make sure that nothing
is on the floor that can get in your way and
cause an accident
Climbing on equipment at the park make sure that it’s stable and before filming
make sure your balanced so that your not going
to fall over
Weather Conditions Check the weather and make sure your
prepared for it i.e if its going to be sunny make
sure you have sun cream, if its going to be cold
make sure you bring appropriate clothing
