DESCRIPTION:
To practice of drawing studio has divided in two parts. 1. technical drawing, 2. Building construction, both studio has different aim like technical drawing is about basic learning of drawing like type
of lines, pencil shades, type of bricks, and other basic knowledge about architectural drawing like isometric view, .
Building construction is about architectural knowledge and drawings about construction buildings.

STUDIO WORK 3 : MEGA TOWNSHIP PROJECT- PARAGPUR, PUNJAB & PROPOSAL FOR DHARAVI SLUM,
MUMBAI.
AIM: “To develop a township in the village of Paragpur, covering an area of 163 acres as per the Mega Project Guidelines..”
DESCRIPTION: To develop a township to cater to the problem of urbanization and to accommodate the inflow of people. The new
township would boast of some of the high-end facilities and infrastructure to suffice the needs of the people. Prior to the process of
township development, a study was conducted, which focused upon the site selection parameters; namely:-
 Site and Situation analysis
 Climate responsive design
 Material considerations
 Distance to various amenities
 Based on the above stated parameters a site named Paragpur was chosen amongst three sites.
 Accordingly, a conceptual plan, housing unit design and various road sections were prepared for the township.
 Hence, a township was developed with primary focus on the elements of sustainability.

AIM: “To rejuvenate the pushkar talab and creating religious site for social interaction and livelihood”
DESCRIPTION: To prepare a rejuvenation plan for the pushkar talab Varanasi and development of fatehmaan area , with an in-
depth study of the area. Thus, a eight days survey study was conducted for the same, the outcomes of which were based on two parts;
namely:-

For development of Fatehmaan area and rejuvenation of Pushkar Talab Social Economic Survey and Physical/Social
Infrastructure of Talab and Demographic study, Administrative setup, Land use, Housing and slums.
Analysis has been done according survey after analysis survey has done and proposal has been given according to requirements
and issues.
Survey has been adopted surrounding area of Pushkar Talab and Fatehmaan area and Survey of Ghats for the development area
within 8 days.

AIM: “is to make: LAP Model Town as livable town with quality infrastructure facilities and services in socially, environmentally and
economically sustainable manner..”

DESCRIPTION: A local area plan was prepared for the MODEL TOWN,JALANDHAR, lying within the Local Planning Area of
Jalandhar and the plan was further developed by conducting various studies and surveys regarding the same; namely:-
 Land-use survey, Physiographic survey, Historical evolution, Socio-economic survey
Based on the above mentioned studies, several issues were listed and hence appropriate proposals were formulated to tackle them.
Also to upgrade social and economic condition of study area proposed slum development strategies and slum development plan.
Thus designs pertaining upcoming slum development plan, with a combined area of thirty Hectare were formulated, with individual
proposals on:-
 Utility Layout
 Housing unit Design.
 Physical model of Local Area Planning.

AIM: “To regain the essence of Culture and Heritage of Walled city, Amritsar & Aims of slum study in Ludhiana, to understand the
underlying problems in the slum and propose measures and interventions to improve the living conditions.
DESCRIPTION: To prepare a heritage revitalization plan for the Amritsar walled city, with an in-depth study of area. Thus, a seven
day survey study was conducted for the same, the outcomes of which were based on two parts; namely:-

As the Master plan is a comprehensive document for the planners, to study the various studies and surveys were conducted for
its formulation; namely:-

Infrastructure study, Industry, Trade and commerce, Heritage and conservation, Tourism, Legal Framework,
Economic activities, Existing Land use, Environment, Disaster management, Rural development .
It covers the various important aspects, namely, projection of population, land suitability analysis, requirement of various
aspects, conceptual of final plan, issues identified and suggestive proposals.
 as aim of regional plan is culture and nature based development so major focus was on tourism and heritage survey and
analysis, GIS is major tool for analysis which has used for study.

- Based on the above stated studies, suggestive proposals were made to tackle the existing issues
AIM: To prepare a traffic and transportation plan for city of Jalandhar
DESCRIPTION: To prepare a traffic and transportation plan with appropriate considerations and standards as stated under the
IRC.
To develop the plan various studies and surveys were conducted in the city of Jalandhar; namely:-
-- Traffic-Volume Survey -- Origin destination Survey
-- Intersection Survey -- Encroachment Survey
-- Congestion -- Lack of traffic management system
-- Bottlenecks -- Encroachments
The proposals were thus formulated concerning:-

-- Roundabouts -- Public Transport System in the city; namely:-
Hence, suggestive proposals were formulated concerning these issues based on the studies conducted.

STUDIO WORK 8 : ECO-FRIENDLY RIVERFRONT DEVELOPMENT OF RIVER GANGA,CASE OF KANPUR
AIM: “To envision capitalization of cultural and natural base and evolve a framework for riverfront and development of tourism to increase the value of Holy river
Ganga.”
VISION: Eco Riverfront Plan defined in terms of ensuring “ continuous flow and unpolluted flow” with recreation and cultural development of Ganga with
sustainable development.
OBJECTIVES
To identify the impact of river polluting causes
To plan a riverfront development which is compatible with its natural environment.”
To rejuvenate the polluted and neglected riverside area by adopting conservation strategies & recreational facilities
To integrate the riverfront areas with the National mission for clean Ganga under ministry of water resources, river development & Ganga rejuvenation
LIMITATIONS
DESIGN LIMITATION: Excluding structure design, architecture features and engineering specifications and detail of various parks and garden, herbal garden, bird
garden, theme park, view point garden etc.
SCOPE:
•Layout plan covers the land distribution in the different components of riverfront recreation, facility kit and achievement of specific planning and design
considerations.
•Circulation pattern covers the movement pattern by cross section of roads, parking design.
•Utility network which covers water supply, sewerage network.
Landscape plan covers the design of park in between the blocks, trees along the roads, parking, boundary, park and other elements of landscape i.e. railing, hedges.
•Development strategies cover the phasing of the project, the cost of the project, organizations involved in the planning, development and maintenance of river front
recreation.
GOVERNMENT INITIATIVES
Government initiatives for the same project as National mission for clean Ganga under ministry of water resources, river development & Ganga rejuvenation, GoI with assistance of
Japan International Agency and World Bank.
DISCRIPTIONS
Eco-Friendly riverfront is located on upper stream of River Ganga in Kanpur, basis of selection of case study is issues in river and surroundings. And government also
taking interest in issues not only in Kanpur as well as for whole stream of Ganga.

According to analysis which is showing in methodology, generate requirements and assumption and proposal has been given on four map, are Concept Plan, Layout Plan, Circulation Plan,
Landscape Plan..Eco friendly components has proposed for night stay like Hut, trees has been proposed according to physical and climate condition to reduce pollution. Ganga has self purifying
capacity more than other river in the world so if direct flow of waste will reduce than River Ganga will purify automatically.

STUDIO WORK 1 : BUILDING MATERIALS CONSTRUCTION AND TECHNICAL DRAWING & STUDY AND DETAILED REPORT ON FATEHPUR SIKRI AIM: “Study of Different types of Building Materials, their uses and Technical drawing of the site/Buildings” DESCRIPTION: To practice of drawing studio has divided in two parts. 1. technical drawing, 2. Building construction, both studio has different aim like technical drawing is about basic learning of drawing like type of lines, pencil shades, type of bricks, and other basic knowledge about architectural drawing like isometric view, . Building construction is about architectural knowledge and drawings about construction buildings. TYPES OF BRICKS DRAFTING OF WALLS DRAFTING OF FOUNDATION OBJECTIVES“To understand the different uses of various building material, benefits and drawbacks of that material such as the types of bricks (Half bat brick, Quarter bat brick etc.)” LEARNINGS • For basic learning of construction to work in AutoCAD. • Scale of buildings and view of building in drafting. • Types and method of components of construction of buildings. • basic knowledge about 3D structure. •Drafting of building in many views like plan, section, elevation. • drafting of buildings with shadow and different angle.

STUDIO WORK 2 : NEIGHBOURHOOD PLANNING, CITY PLANNING OF THE WALLED CITY AND BRTS OF JAIPUR. & RURAL PLANNING AIM: “ To prepare layout plan and to understand the physical, social and economic characteristics of village Kalan, Punjab, study of walled city jaipur DESCRIPTION: study of sector planning, rural planning, study of Jaipur old study and Ahmadabad BRTS in study tour. study of neighborhood planning Thus, a seven day survey study was conducted for the Jaipur walled city, survey of village the outcomes of which were based on these topic:-  Study of area For study of Rural Planning and walled city Jaipur Demographic study, Housing and slums, Socio-economic study, Physical/Social Infrastructure study, Industry, Trade and commerce, These survey gave data for various type of analysis according to analysis generated requirements and proposal has been given according to requirements. Physical model of walled city Jaipur give realistic analysis of study area and study of BRTS Ahmadabad was important to give lesson for public transportation.   • 5. STUDIO WORK 3 : MEGA TOWNSHIP PROJECT- PARAGPUR, PUNJAB & PROPOSAL FOR DHARAVI SLUM, MUMBAI. AIM: “To develop a township in the village of Paragpur, covering an area of 163 acres as per the Mega Project Guidelines..” DESCRIPTION: To develop a township to cater to the problem of urbanization and to accommodate the inflow of people. The new township would boast of some of the high-end facilities and infrastructure to suffice the needs of the people. Prior to the process of township development, a study was conducted, which focused upon the site selection parameters; namely:-  Site and Situation analysis  Climate responsive design  Material considerations  Distance to various amenities  Based on the above stated parameters a site named Paragpur was chosen amongst three sites.  Accordingly, a conceptual plan, housing unit design and various road sections were prepared for the township.  Hence, a township was developed with primary focus on the elements of sustainability. PHYSICAL MODEL HOUSING AND INFRASTRUTURE ANALYSIS OF SLUM DHARAVI SLUM SHEETS LAYOUT PLAN DHARAVI SLUM STUDY LEARNINGS • Importance of guidelines and how to follow guidelines for development. • Guidelines and rule for township development. • How to take any site for development and what is important of site locations. •Land Use pattern of township and importance of land use pattern. • Learning about dharavi slum and government proposal of dharavi slum. • How to do develop strategy for slum development. • How to deal with economic development of slums.

STUDIO WORK 4 : RIVERFRONT REJUVENATION PLAN OF PUSHKAR TALAB, VARANASI AIM: “To rejuvenate the pushkar talab and creating religious site for social interaction and livelihood” DESCRIPTION: To prepare a rejuvenation plan for the pushkar talab Varanasi and development of fatehmaan area , with an in- depth study of the area. Thus, a eight days survey study was conducted for the same, the outcomes of which were based on two parts; namely:-  Study of AREA For development of Fatehmaan area and rejuvenation of Pushkar Talab Social Economic Survey and Physical/Social Infrastructure of Talab and Demographic study, Administrative setup, Land use, Housing and slums. Analysis has been done according survey after analysis survey has done and proposal has been given according to requirements and issues. Survey has been adopted surrounding area of Pushkar Talab and Fatehmaan area and Survey of Ghats for the development area within 8 days. PHYSICAL MODEL OF VARANASI 3D VIEW OF PUSHKAR TALAB FATEHMAN MASQ AND SLUM PROPOSAL FATEHMAAN MASQ AREAPROPOSAL LEARNINGS • Analysis of area by 3D physical model of area. • Proposal at 3D model like in sketch-up. • Importance of culture and how to rejuvenate these type of religious and cultural Ghats and ponds. • Development of underdeveloped economic area by development of Religious development. • Importance of Riverfront development in terms of Indian context. • After study of Fatehmaan Masque and slum area, learned how to deal with economic development of religious and slum area. • Importance of Heritage development and Nature based development.

STUDIO WORK 5 : LOCAL AREA PLAN- MODEL TOWN, JALANDHAR PUNJAB & GIS MAPPING AND ANALYSIS OF LOVELY PROFESSIONAL UNIVERSITY AIM: “is to make: LAP Model Town as livable town with quality infrastructure facilities and services in socially, environmentally and economically sustainable manner..” GIS MAP, LPU ANALYSIS AND PROPOSAL OF STUDY AREA PHYSICAL MODEL DESCRIPTION: A local area plan was prepared for the MODEL TOWN,JALANDHAR, lying within the Local Planning Area of Jalandhar and the plan was further developed by conducting various studies and surveys regarding the same; namely:-  Land-use survey, Physiographic survey, Historical evolution, Socio-economic survey Based on the above mentioned studies, several issues were listed and hence appropriate proposals were formulated to tackle them. Also to upgrade social and economic condition of study area proposed slum development strategies and slum development plan. Thus designs pertaining upcoming slum development plan, with a combined area of thirty Hectare were formulated, with individual proposals on:-  Utility Layout  Housing unit Design.  Physical model of Local Area Planning. LEARNINGS • Development of area with their existing characteristics. • Development of area by solving the issues of the area. • Development of special characteristics of local area. • 3D model making • Digitization in GIS and analysis like buffer analysis, contour analysis etc.

STUDIO WORK 6 : HERITAGE REVITALIZATION CASE OF AMRITSAR & SLUM STUDY IN LUDHIANA AIM: “To regain the essence of Culture and Heritage of Walled city, Amritsar & Aims of slum study in Ludhiana, to understand the underlying problems in the slum and propose measures and interventions to improve the living conditions. DESCRIPTION: To prepare a heritage revitalization plan for the Amritsar walled city, with an in-depth study of area. OBJECTIVES To identify the impact of river polluting causes To plan a riverfront development which is compatible with its natural environment.” To rejuvenate the polluted and neglected riverside area by adopting conservation strategies & recreational facilities To integrate the riverfront areas with the National mission for clean Ganga under ministry of water resources, river development & Ganga rejuvenation LIMITATIONS DESIGN LIMITATION: Excluding structure design, architecture features and engineering specifications and detail of various parks and garden, herbal garden, bird garden, theme park, view point garden etc. SCOPE: •Layout plan covers the land distribution in the different components of riverfront recreation, facility kit and achievement of specific planning and design considerations. •Circulation pattern covers the movement pattern by cross section of roads, parking design. •Utility network which covers water supply, sewerage network.
