This paper introduces a novel design for a multi-band printed planar internal antenna (PIFA) tailored for cellular applications, emphasizing its compact structure suitable for mobile devices. The designed antenna operates at tri-band frequencies—900 MHz, 1800 MHz, and 2.45 GHz—with a satisfactory return loss and low specific absorption rate (SAR), making it safe for user proximity. The results demonstrate the antenna's efficient performance and improved SAR values compared to previous antenna designs.
