The Noise
General Idea
location
- The location shall be a student house outside of the
university campus. We have sourced it through friends at
university who are in second year.
- It is good for production due to the fact it suits the look of
a house the characters would have, whilst being close and
practical for transporting equipment.
Casting
We have put up a post on Staryou for a male and female around the
age of thirty, but have not received replies just yet.
However we have sourced two actors from the University as back
up’s.
Symbolism – the reason behind
- The greater meaning of the film is that the noise represents a
bomb or a clock counting down till the end.
- This bomb ticking will coincide with the downfall of the
relationship until it ‘explodes’ or time just runs out for them as a
couple and their love is up.
- We believe this to be relatable to an audience.
Target Audience
 Anyone who can relate to the theme of relationships, therefore
teens to adults. A couple arguing would not be appealing to a
child.
 No target demographic as the thematic is very universal in
society.
Costume
 Male lead – Grey pajama bottoms and a white t-shirt.
 Female lead – Navy Blue pajama shorts and a black tank top.
 The dark colours are used to relate to the saddening break
down of the relationship and the depressing nature of the film.
Plot line (structural elements)
Style of drama
 The style shall be realistic and gritty.
 The couple’s argument over the noise may seem farfetched,
but what is brought up about the relationship in the dialogue is
quite hard hitting

Pitch for time bomb

  • 3. location - The location shall be a student house outside of the university campus. We have sourced it through friends at university who are in second year. - It is good for production due to the fact it suits the look of a house the characters would have, whilst being close and practical for transporting equipment.
  • 4. Casting We have put up a post on Staryou for a male and female around the age of thirty, but have not received replies just yet. However we have sourced two actors from the University as back up’s.
  • 5. Symbolism – the reason behind - The greater meaning of the film is that the noise represents a bomb or a clock counting down till the end. - This bomb ticking will coincide with the downfall of the relationship until it ‘explodes’ or time just runs out for them as a couple and their love is up. - We believe this to be relatable to an audience.
  • 6. Target Audience  Anyone who can relate to the theme of relationships, therefore teens to adults. A couple arguing would not be appealing to a child.  No target demographic as the thematic is very universal in society.
  • 7. Costume  Male lead – Grey pajama bottoms and a white t-shirt.  Female lead – Navy Blue pajama shorts and a black tank top.  The dark colours are used to relate to the saddening break down of the relationship and the depressing nature of the film.
  • 9. Style of drama  The style shall be realistic and gritty.  The couple’s argument over the noise may seem farfetched, but what is brought up about the relationship in the dialogue is quite hard hitting
