loud and unnecessary amps that almost sounded like they were going all the way to 11 instead of 10. It
seemed that Rock and Roll was dying out or becoming oversaturated as a musical genre. It is in this
environment that the movie This is Spinal Tap bases itself in.
This is Spinal Tap is a 1984 mock documentary or mockumentary about a fictitious band named
Spinal Tap. The movie is told from the interviewing perspective of director Rob Reiner as he
interviews and follows the British band for their United States concert tour for their new album, Smell
My Glove . Throughout the film and tour, almost everything seems to be going wrong for the band.
From drops in concert attendance, issues releasing their album cover due to controversial imagery,
sudden changes in management, and the general childish behaviour of the band holding them back.
The film pokes fun at the many real life rock stars and bands that existed at the time; including Yes,

The Masters Of Social Work Program
Going into the Masters of Social Work program, I thought I had an idea of what I was going to do and
how to do it. Now that I am almost finished with my Spring semester, I was completely wrong.

Personality disorders have a sex prevalence rate and there has been some suggestion that those rates
reflect gender bias. The bias concerns derived from the conceptualization of personality disorders, the

The memorable novel Romeo and Juliet, authored by the brilliancy of William Shakespeare clashes
with the theatrical film West Side Story, written by Arthur Laurents . When the two films compare it s
evident that both share a variety of similarities. To the extent of storylines, characters and importantly
themes. The main themes that interacts between the two worlds are Love and Conflict which is
illustrated amongst that characters as they mature along the story. To roughly summarise both story
plots, there are two equally match gangs in constant war displayed in the public s eye, as both gangs
start to make things heated, police intervene and trying to stop the compiling complaints they decide
to throw a party to cool down the controversy. Both gangs end up dancing on the de same dance floor,
accepting the fact just to leave each other alone and enjoy the dance. But by faith these cross star
lovers cross paths and fall in love. But by the bad history between their gangs conflict rises and tries to
conquer their love. So essentially the focus is how both themes Love and Conflict converge within the

This book on 7 Habits of Highly Effective People was written in 1989, is still a great book today.
Stephen R. Covey talked about great habits that we need to encrypt in our daily living to be effective
at work, home and as a person. He explained how the habits is based on developing our independence.
The first habit he talked about was being proactive in our lives. To be proactive we need to have self
awareness of our actions. We need to take responsibility for the choices we make and take responsible
for those choices.
Second habit is to begin with the end in mind. This is where you develop a vision of what you want to
become and our conscience will decide what values will guide you and everything that you do should
have an end.
Third habit is to put first things first. This is where we need to have discipline to our day so we make
sure that we focus on what is the most important to the least important. This is where our will power
will come into effect so we don t act on our desires or impulses.
Habit four is the win win thought process. To be successful you need to look at the problem between
you and the other party and approach it with a mutual solution. To do this it requires understanding
and being understood. This way everyone can be satisfied with the outcome of the solution.
The fifth habit was, seek first to understand them to understood. One important skill that we need to

Boot Camp Days Finally, it has come, the final paper! Although I will miss all the great things we
learn about in class every week, I will not miss having to think of information to type in these papers.
This week the topics I have chosen to discuss are; life events and stress, stressors and frustration. The
best way I can relate to these topics is by talking about my personal experiences at Navy Boot Camp.
The worst eight and a half weeks of my life.
The Good Beginning
My journey began, I was leaving the Tampa airport and heading to Chicago, destination Great Lakes,
to become a sailor. At the airport, I was full of many different thoughts and emotions, being excited,
but scared of what was to come.
Arriving at the Chicago O Hare airport we were met by a group of Petty Officers who were a lot nicer
than I thought they would be. Before we left the airport, we had to throw out anything we were not
supposed to have, lip balm, lotions, soaps, we couldn t even keep our toothbrushes. That was fine, at
least I wasn t getting yelled at. Then we loaded up onto a bus and headed to the base.
The Start of the Worst Arriving on base, we pulled up to a building and quickly loaded off the bus and
filed in one by one. There were three different people all yelling different directions. Sadly, the Petty
Officers who picked us up from the airport, were not Recruit Division Commanders (RDC). My hope
of everything continuing to go well was shot down very quickly. Just being there five
