For eight hours, I got to step into the shoes of over 48 million Americans who live with a hearing
loss. I had the opportunity to experience what it means to have an invisible impairment in a world
made for those who have good hearing. The bright orange earplug served as my ticket to one of the
most humbling adventures I have ever undertaken. I would have never imagined that a 32dB
unilateral hearingloss would cause so much frustration. With frustration, however, came

a welding student at Arizona Automotive Institute (AAI). The history behind it has always grasped
my attention for some time now. I always wanted to know more about underwater welding such as

Konstantin Khrenov was a Soviet Engineer, who would later make history by inventing underwater

mathematics. He had also taught and did research at ETU until 1925.
Underwater welding was not a thing people attempted during the 20th century, because shooting

gas bubbles which would cause major porosity or build up in the welds. During this time, he and
others did research and testing to create a waterproof coating for the electrodes for stable power.

movie, it is not completely historically accurate. I personally really liked this movie. Mainly
because it tells a very interesting story and really catches your attention and keeps it through the

Polar Ice Caps Cause And Effects
The polar ice caps that we see today have taken centuries to form and they ve been melting from
time to time in order to form lakes and rivers that are essential not only for animal and plant life,

that melt gets replaced by fresh snow that is later on over time converted to ice. Thus it is safe to
