Trinity To Nazienzus Essay
The Trinity to Nazienzus is absolutely essential in his Five Theological Orations, and in them he
defines the Father is the Begetter and the Emitter; without passion of course, and without reference
to time, and not in a corporeal manner. This means that though numerically distinct there is no
severance of Essence. Christ is not subordinate to the Father, and the Holy Ghost is not subordinate
to the Father or the Son; the Godhead is Triune in unity and is of the same substance. Even though
the Holy Spirit and the Son are from [the Father], though not after Him, they still share the same
essence as Him in the Trinity. This is an important distinction, because any part of the Godhead that
has not existed for all time would not be Godby definition. Nazienzus explains this by saying that
the cause is not necessarily prior to its... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
He goes so far to say that the notion of Two Sons, one of God the Father, the other of the mother
warrants the loss of adoption into God s Kingdom. God and man have two distinct natures, just as
the body and the soul are two distinct natures, but there are not two sons or two gods in the person
of Jesus. This is valid because it adheres to scripture, and because the alternative is heresy. There
are plentiful examples of the divinity of God, one being John 8:58, where Jesus proclaims to the
dismay of the Pharisees before Abraham was, I am, which caused them to try and stone Him for
what they considered blasphemy. His humanity can be seen in Matthew 4:2 where He hungered
after fasting for 40 days and nights, and in Mark 15:37 where the human person of Jesus died on
the cross, even though his deity descended to Sheol. This shows the validity of the Trinitarian
model, which means that the Three are One and the same in Godhead, as Christ is still the fully
functioning second person of the

Essay on The Essence of Pop Culture
Talk about Pop Music, Talk about Pop MusicВ… was one of the most catchy phrases of the 1980
s. Just as in the 80 s, today we see many characteristics of pop culture effecting our lives. But, what
is pop culture?
br
br I spent some time online trying to answer my question and time after time I was led to the same
direction: pop culture is what we see, hear, speak, and are otherwise exposed to on a daily basis.
The infomercials we see late on television, the billboards we see on the side of the road, the junk
mail we receive, the links on the web pages we visit, and the radio commercials we hear all tie
together to form this idea of pop culture. These, plus many other aspects, form our minds and teach
us how to be culturally smart. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Showing how people will believe movies, maybe because they see it, but yet not believe in a
possible salvation. Not all pop culture is like that. Look at the Jerry Springer Show. It is a cultural
icon for college students everywhere. It s the allure of crazy people and wild stories that attract
people to watch it. He has become forever an American figure and will always be associated
when some one brings up a story about a fight and they then say hey you remember that Springer
Show? This show represents the corrupt side of society, which we do not see on a normal daily
basis, except for on the show. It is typical American culture just as Wrestling is now becoming.
They both offer a wild show for entertainment and also shows a darker side of the society.
br
br As a society and culture, we decide what pop culture is. Our actions and reactions are read by
the media and the rest of society to build around what we want, ultimately creating Pop Culture.
There is not a bias for these ideas considering that everything that surrounds us, including history is
pop culture in a way. People decided what the times

Definition Of Humanity In Blade Runner
The film that will be thoroughly analysed throughout this essay is Blade Runner which is based
on the novel Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep? . This film was produced by Ridley Scott,
who explores how replicants associate in human society. The creators of the desirable replicants
display a company slogan that reads More humanthan human . The concept and definition of this
will be thoroughly analysed throughout this essay and its relation to the characters will be stated.
The definition of humanity and the true meaning of being human will be furthered explored in
relation to the film. The classification of being human is complicated as replicants and humans

As the film develops it is obvious they both struggle to understand their emerging emotions.
When the character of Deckard is evaluated it is obvious he struggles to come to terms with the
coldness of retiring the Replicants. This puts him in a predicament as he faces a psychological
battle. Although he is completing the task for the wellbeing of the remaining citizens he turns
to drinking as a form of comfort, displaying signs of Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In
comparison, over the journey of the story Roy, the alleged antagonist, developed emotions. This
caused the difference between humans and robots to decrease. At the beginning of the film,
Replicants are perceived as corrupt but this stereotype is broken when Roy Batty saves the life
of Deckard. He could ve allowed Deckard to fall to his death but he was overcome with emotion
and couldn t complete the task of murder. After saving him, Roy was retired as his intended four
year life span was complete. The was audience is left to question his development and evolution
towards humanity. The author demonstrated that through Roy s actions his purpose in this world
was accomplished and he had indeed become human. Overall the difference between being
labelled as good or bad is stereotyped. Replicants were perceived as bad people due to their
characterisation, this was broken through the development of emotion.

Benjamin Franklin s Autobiography
Benjamin Franklin is an iconic figure in history, primarily for his many inventions. Franklin also
wrote an autobiography about his life, there is a difference between a biography and an
autobiography. Biographies are written by someone who is writing about another person s life. An
autobiography, on the other hand, is a person writingabout their own life. Usually in an
autobiography, the writer will talk about his or her life, including their childhood, family, and
schooling. The writer will also usually talk about their parents, and their marriage. Benjamin
Franklin s autobiography is very different, he starts off by saying dear son , which leads the
reader to believe that it is a normal autobiography. Once you read about two more paragraphs in

He also briefly talks about his childhood life, but even then he still talks about how good he was
and how his friends respected him so much. Franklin also very briefly writes how he met the
love of his life in Philadelphia, then he doesn t really write much about dating the love of his
life, which you would think being an autobiography he would talk more about her. When the
Governor of Philadelphia wanted Franklin to go to London for starting a printing business he
basically told his love to marry another (Autobiography of Benjamin Franklin). Franklin s
autobiography tells about his many great accomplishments but very little about his personal life.
When he does talk about his personal life though, he always makes sure that even when he
describes one of his family members or a childhood memory Franklin writes about how good he
was. Franklin also likes to portray himself as the icon of the American dream, for example,
Franklin emphasizes how vital it is for creditors to support fledgling entrepreneurs; and so these
stories illustrate, by implication, the importance of the reader s willingness to credit Franklin s
representations of the American experience ( Vassar

How Does Paul Fisher Symbolize In Tangerine
This realistic fiction novel Tangerine, by Edward Bloor, describes the problems and relationships
that Paul, the protagonist, discovers when unlocking the meaning of truth, no matter the obstacles
people put up to block him from it. A motif is any recurring element that has a symbolic
significance in a story, and Tangerine uses The motifof sight , to introduce Paul to the universal
statement of truth and make him aware of what the people surrounding him can and cannot see .
Paul Fisher, the main character, uses the motif of sight to have a new understanding of his friends,

African Arts Midterm
Midterm essay Lingyi Liu
After studying Arts of Africa for two weeks, I have learnt a lot of African arts. It is interesting that
most of them are used at funerals to honor the death of ancestors. People use sculptures, masks,
illustration and some other tools to memorize the dead and even people from different culture have
their unique ways to honor it. Death rituals in Africa are come from the cultural beliefs, they
believe that death and life are continuous. The dead people still alive in a spirit way. Rituals in
Africa ensures the ancestor will not be disturbed and his descendant will be protected. If they fail
to do this, the ghost will remain in the world and cause some problems. The descendant will lose
the asylum from their ancestor. So, it s really important for the African to honor the dead.
According to the images in the lecture, I found the most common purpose of these arts are wearing

Essay on The Great Gig in the Sky
At a late Thursday night, I have received word that I would perform in a fancy ball room. With
only two weeks of experience I had a gig in front of a hundred people. Like many first gigs, the
stage plays tricks on you and makes you feel inferior. Stage fright had to go away at some point,
so I decided for it to be this Saturday night. Countless of hours put into this one night, I would
practice day in and day out. There was something for me to prove. You don t have to be naturally
talented and experienced to become successful or to perform at a high level. All it takes is a little
self confidence and hard work. Is two weeks enough for a musician to pick up an instrument and
perform? A sunny day in Houston, Texas. Just this morning I have... Show more content on

My heart quickly accelerated and continued to run for its life. I looked at my hands which were
beginning to moisture. The thought of performing with little experience struck me down. I was
a nervous wreck and I knew that within the next five minutes. I will give it my all or die trying. I
patiently waited to be called. A loud thumping noise is heard as I head over to the door and open
the door. It was my father. There is no need to feel nervous. You worked so hard and pushed
yourself to prove a point. Although that may be true, you worked so hard not only for success
but also for the enjoyment of performing. My dad had turned his back on me and faded away. I
stood still thinking about what he has told me. There was a better reason to why I stood up so
late and practiced so much. From the beginning, playing an instrument was a wonderful
experience. With a confident look and a brighter self esteem. I was ready to rock n roll! I
treasured the moment. I put on my shades and walked across the hall with a determined look. I
made my way backstage and was suddenly called to the stage. The spotlight was brighter than the
suns ray. I foolishly put my shades back on and take a look around me. Complete silence was
around me. Such a quiet, yet eerie atmosphere. Eyes across the stage followed me like a homing
missile. I strum a chord and begin playing. A rough start was quickly changed whenever the music

Mark Trumbo s Performance Analysis
While Los Angeles Angels outfielder Mike Trout burst onto the scene in 2012, it was his
teammate, Mark Trumbo, that did so the year before. In 2011, the future looked bright for Trumbo,
who mashed 29 home runs in his first full season with the Angels. Both players turned in
unbelievable 2012 seasons, creating an impressive tandem poised to be the core of the Angels future.
In 2012, Trout blasted 30 home runs in his stellar first full season in MLB, while Trumbo topped
him with 32 dingers. Both young stars earned a trip to the All Star Game that year and kept up
their hot play into 2013. In 2013, Trout was just beginning his reign as one of the best players in
baseball, while Trumbo continued to improve his game with 34 home runs.
The next season, however, Trumbo began a surprising downfall.
The Angels traded Trumbo to the Arizona Diamondbacks following the 2013 season in a three
team deal that netted Los Angeles much needed young pitchers. In his only full season with the D
Backs (2014), Trumbo struggled to get going after suffering a stress fracture in his left foot. The
injury limited the power hitter to 88 games in 2014, and Trumbo was never able to regain his
fantastic form, hammering just 14 home runs. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

96 games with the M s. When the 2015 season concluded, Trumbo s stint in Seattle was over, as he

Analysis Of The Book Watchmen By Dc Comics

Watchmen
Watchmen, by DC Comics, should be considered a literary work for its great use of realism and
deconstruction, storytelling and subplots, and the focus on personal character development and
their moral codes. Watchmen utilizes these aspects in a way that makes the reader change the way
they think about their popular culture and what is valuable to them. These aspects help solidify the
idea that Watchmenis the first in a new breed of comics, one in which they make the transition
from fantasy to literature. It is a work that is recognized by many as a revolutionary comic series,
and is even lauded as one of the best novels and most significant works of the 20th century. It has
solidified its place as a cultural classic in America and it would be injudicious to not see Watchmen
as a literary work.
In order to see Watchmen as a literary work, one must understand what that is. A classic is a
literary work our culture studies due to its ability to maintain being conventional, or popular, and
relevant despite times changing. When people think of an American classic, people think of
stories like Harper Lee s To Kill a Mockingbird, F. Scott Fitzgeralds The Great Gatsby, and John
Steinbeck s The Grapes of Wrath. In these novels, the authors utilize certain aspects of language,
such as intense character development, subplots, and realism, and ties them together to create great,
detailed storylines. This use of language and

Pathophysiology Of Adsulitis
The following literature review describes the pathophysiology, epidemiology, associated
comorbidities, secondary conditions and treatment of adhesive Capsulitis (Frozen Shoulder) with
an emphasis on current physical activity and exercise as a treatment strategy.
Pathophysiology
Adhesive Capsulitis (AC) commonly known as Frozen shoulder (FS), is a condition characterised
by stiffness and pain in the glenohumeral joint (GH), with limitations to both active and passive
range of motion in all directions. It can arise from an injury or trauma to the shoulder and chest
area or spontaneously without any obvious preceding event (Van der Zwaal, and Van de Laar,
2014: Tami, Akutsu and Yano, 2013).
The GH (shoulder joint) is structurally classified as a synovial ball (head of humerous) and socket

(Peterson and Redlund Johnell, 2009). Functional movements of the joint include flexion,
extension, abduction, adduction both frontal and transverse plane, medial and lateral rotation and
circumduction. The shoulder also allows for scapular protraction, retraction, elevation, and
depression (Quillen, Wuchner, Hatch, 2004). The primary stabilisers of the shoulder are the biceps
brachii (anterior side of the arm), and tendons of the rotator cuff (supraspinatus, infraspinatus, teres
minor, and subscapularis) which stabilise the joint by fusing to all sides of the capsule except the
inferior margin (Tami, Akutsu and Yano, 2013). The joint capsule and the ligaments of the GH
joint work together to provide passive restraint, ensuring the humeral head remains in contact with
the glenoid fossa. The lateral attachment of the GH joint capsule attaches to the anatomical neck of
the humerous while the glenoid and the labrum are the medial attachment points (Dutton, 2008).
When the arm is in the resting position, the inferior and anterior portions of the capsule is loose,
while the superior portion is tight.

American composer and pianist Billy Joel wrote the song We Didn t Start the Fire regarding the

Symbolism In Tennessee William s The Glass Menagerie
Symbolism is a major aspect in Tennessee William s famous play, The Glass Menagerie. On the
surface, the short slice of life story seems to be simple. However, if the reader digs deeper they will
find that there are several symbols that give the play a deeper meaning. Each character defines each
symbol in a different way. Aside from character symbols, there is overall symbolism in this play.
It is set in a memory, so it creates a soft, dream like setting. This lends to the whole idea behind the
play that the characters are unable to function in reality. None of the characters are capable of

original state symbolizes something different. It is delicate, beautiful, and precious in it s own
unique way. This could symbolize Laura has natural beauty in an unearthly way that is hidden by
her shyness and limp.
When Laura starts to talk to Jim, she gets more confidence in herself and realizes that she is not

The fire escape is a major symbol in this play. It represents a different symbol for each character.

She cannot live in the present, and the lack of a front door makes it easy for her to avoid real life.
She convinces herself that she isn t capable of leaving the safe haven she has created by locking

illegally with tremendous benefits. Edmund Kozak, political reporter for lifezette.com in an article
on April 8, 2016 States to Illegal Aliens Welcome argued that unfortunately, many States have
decided to go into the business of encouraging illegal immigration. Some 605,000 of the roughly
1.4 million driver s license issue in California last year went to illegal aliens. Kozak said that the
cost of the processing of the new applicants is estimated at $ 141 million over three years. This
cost will be supported by the legal citizens of California because the State did not require those
undocumented to pay taxes. Undoubtedly, these allegations might be dictated by the stereotypes
which are used against undocumented immigrants, and unfortunately, many people are blinded by
the single story about these hardworking people. If legal citizens paid for the fees related to
driving licenses, why would it be different for undocumented drivers? If undocumented people
accepted to work and pay federal taxes without the same benefits as other legal workers, why
would they not pay for their driving license? In States that issue permits to undocumented aliens,
the policy has largely self funded; i.e., fees collected from applicants pay for the costs of issuing
the permit explained in the Boston Editorial Immigration has Nothing to do with Driving Skills.
Based on that, it is clear that the license would not be funded by the State but by the applicants
themselves.

Cause Of Death In Romeo And Juliet
Death is extremely unfortunate. It greatly impacts the loved ones of the victim and can cause
tremendous emotional damage to people. However, death is a symptom, whether it is a natural
death from old age or an untimely death from accidents and mistakes. While death cannot always
be prevented, its cause may be analysed to obtain new information or knowledge to prevent
additionally casualties. This is especially true of the deaths of Romeo and Juliet in William
Shakespeare s play Romeo and Juliet. Set in the renaissance era, the young lovers Romeo and
Juliet from opposing families pursuit a secret and forbidden love amidst the chaos of the family
feud in Verona. Their love was difficult and the lovers ultimately take their owns lives due to...

In addition, Lord Capulet failed to stop Tybalt s rage and was too forceful to Juliet. Firstly, the
feud between the Montagues and Capulets contributed to the deaths of the lovers. This is seen
when the chorus states in the prologue, Two households, both alike in dignity... From ancient
grudge break to new mutiny, Where civil blood makes civil hands clean (I, Prologue, 1 4). This
refers to the long standing feud between the Montagues and Capulets, which is the primary
source of conflict in the play. This feud between the families resulted in the love between Romeo
and Juliet to be forbidden, which caused great difficulty for the lovers. Therefore, if the parents
would forgive the other family and end the feud, Romeo and Juliet would have likely been able to
safely fall in love and marry, perhaps their love would even be encouraged, thus avoid their
unnecessary deaths. Secondly, Lord Capulet failed to contain Tybalt s anger, which eventually led
to Romeo s banishment, causing complications and the lover s deaths. During the Capulet party,
Tybalt had discovered that Romeo attended uninvited, as a result, Tybalt was furious and intended
to slay Romeo, but Lord Capulet intervened and stopped Tybalt. However, Lord Capulet failed to
prevent Tybalt from issuing his challenge the next day, leading to the deathof Tybalt and the
banishment of Romeo. Due to Lord Capulet s failure to prevent Tybalt s violent outburst, a series
of events was set in motion: where Tybalt killed Mercutio, and in a rage, Romeo slew Tybalt,
resulting in his banishment. This was a contributing factor in the deaths of the lovers, as Romeo s
banishment presented obstacles to the transfer of information, leading to the lovers suicides. Lastly,
Lord Capulet forcing Juliet to marry Paris was another factor contributing to Romeo and Juliet s
deaths. Without

I Love Baseball Analysis
love baseball. I love watching the strategies, the big plays, the colossal errors (anyone remember
poor Bill Buckner?) and the dramatic finishes. The Tampa Bay Rays, who in nine of their first ten
years of existence finished dead last in their division (In 2004 they managed to beat out one team
and finished fourth in their division), surprised everyone in 2008 by beating out such teams as the
Boston Red Sox and the New York Yankees
and made it to the World Series only to lose to the
Philadelphia Phillies. Even though they lost the World Series, they were heroes in the eyes of
millions who rooted for them and their storybook season.
One strategy that I particularly enjoy is the use of specialty players, of which the most prevalent
is the closer . The closer is a pitcher who is brought in for just a very short period of the game

Time after time many project managers will start out of the blocks full of excitement and
passion about their project. Then along the way things start going wrong, whether it be
unanticipated schedule or budget issues, an unforeseen risk spinning out of control, or an ugly
issue rearing its head. Rather than act deliberately, many PM s will sweep the problem under the
rug, start screaming fire , panic, or politically disengage themselves from the problem by blaming
someone else. In any event, rather than act to address the problem the PM does nothing to help
the situation and most likely does things to further exacerbate the problem. If management is
attentive to the problem then a likely outcome is to replace the project manager with a closer ; a
more experienced and seasoned PM who can stare down a problem and get things under control.

Noneconomic Damages Reform Essay
Noneconomic Damages Reform There has been over three decades of debate over a reform that
affects everything from insurance and health care premiums to the prices of goods and services.
The Tort law gives civilians the right to put liability on a company and sue for a multitude of
different things if something goes wrong. A main issue of the tort reformis noneconomic damages.
Noneconomic damages are awards granted for pain and suffering. A solution to this ongoing
problem is to set a cap, or ceiling, on the amount of compensation one can receive for his or her
pain and suffering. An issue with setting caps is that they are argued against as unconstitutional and
violates the right to trial by jury (Hudson) stated in the sixth... Show more content on

According to Sherman Joyce, Victor Schwartz, and Darren McKinney of the ATRA, over 30 states
have implemented some sort of noneconomic damages reform. For example, in 1986 the Alaskan
government established a state cap of $500,000 on, noneconomic damages for cases that do not
involve any physical impairment or disfigurement. In 1997, Alaska adjusted the noneconomic
damages reform once more. In this modification of the reform, the state went into deeper detail
addressing different instances that could occur and the sufficient compensation for an
individual s pain and suffering. For a single death or injury to a greater extent of $400,000, they
are awarded as much as their life expectancy multiplied by $8,000. In another instance involving
severe disfigurement or physical impairment exceeding $1,000,000, it is the individual s life
expectancy (in years) multiplied by $25,000 (2). Many other states including Alabama,
California, Missouri, and other states have established their own type of cap or system for
awarding damages for pain and suffering. In states that have a cap or system of deciding awards,
they have lower insurance and health care premiums and the prices of goods and services stays
lower. This benefits the state s economy as well as the Nation s.
According to most news articles and journals interpreting the progression of the tort reform,
noneconomic damages reforms are the most common throughout the states. As

present in both conditions, it was noted what condition had and increase or if they were equal.
Discussion
I studied the expression of V. parahaemolyticus expression of OM protein when grown in a high
and low salt condition. I hypothesized that V. parahaemolyticus would increase the expression of
OM proteins in a high salt condition and lower the expression of OM proteins in a low salt
condition. As shown in the results section, V. parahaemolyticus expressed more proteins when it
was grown in the high salt environment, thus my hypothesis was supported. I predicted that the
bacterium would build a wall of proteins around itself to help maintain it stay isotonic state. My
results showed that more proteins were expressed but I do not have results to prove that those
proteins were used to keep the cell osmotically happy. I was surprised that there weren t more ...

that V. parahaemolyticus was likely to express more proteins when grown in a high condition of

Child Abuse Is A Social Problem Essay
Child abuse is a social problem that continuously produces a wave of concern. The State of New
Jersey Department of Children and Families explains that Abuse is the physical, sexual or
emotional harm or risk of harm to another child under the age of 18 caused by a parent or other
person who acts as a caregiver for the child (2016). The harsh reality of child abuseand its
consequences is recognized throughout this essay. The cost of child abuse can be understood
through direct and indirect costs. Direct costs describe those of the child welfare system, judicial
and law enforcement, health and mental health systems (New Jersey Child Assault Prevention,
2015). Comparatively, indirect costs apply to much more long term problems/a turn of events the
child victim and their abuser(s) may have. These costs involve the effects abuse has or may have
in regards to education, mental health, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, welfare dependency,
domestic violence, homelessness, juvenile delinquency and adult criminality (New Jersey Child
Assault Prevention, 2015). It costs a substantial amount of money to deal with child abuse.
Moving away from these consequences, it is arguable that children exposed to violence or abuse,
if left unaddressed or ignored, are at an increased risk for emotional and behavioral problems in
the future. They may not be able to express their feelings safely and as a result, may develop
difficulties regulating their emotions (Joyful Heart

havoc to the United States of America. Ever since the terrorist attack on September 11, 2001,
funding for the use of drones sky rocketed because people came to the realization that there was a

Trends in the climate suggest that the United States is receiving less and less water each year.
Other states such as California are suffering under drought conditions and need new methods to
conserve water. With the use of drones, farmers can view their fields from up above to
determine whether crops need water. These flying devices can help contribute to water
conservation in the west and possibly bring multiple states out of long periods of drought.
Additionally, drones can be used to scout fields for insect infestation and crop diseases. Crop
farmers can evaluate the economic risk from the potential effects from infestation. The use of
drones can make it easier for crop farmers to diagnose the issue so that they can prevent too much
damage so that they can maintain a profit. Coordinates can be marked where this issue is evolving
from and pesticides, herbicides, and different methods of Integrated Pest Management (IPM) can be
applied to the area. Drones can contribute to crop farming and scouting by reducing valuable

Man Vs. Society In The Color Of Water By James Mcbride
In The Color of Water by James McBride there are many conflicts that can be found involving
Man vs Society. Throughout the book there is a lot of discrimination between the main
characters and society that, Ruth and James both struggled with. Ruth grew up in a small town
in Virginia learning the ways of an Orthodox Jew. She was not accepted by the society that she
lived in, in her early life because she was Jewish. Ruth also had a lot of family problems that she
escaped from when she moved to New York and converted to Christianity. Ruth ended up married
to a black man named Dennis but once he died she remarried Hunter Jordan. Ruth was also not
accepted by her society because she lived in Brooklyn raising 12 children of the opposite raceas her.
James is one of her sons and at one point in his life rebels against his society because he is upset
about his stepfather s death and doesn t care about being successful. Throughout the book the
conflict, Man vs. Society deals with a lot of racial discrimination. The society that James and Ruth
are living in discriminate against their race, religion and decisions.
The first conflict is how Ruth and her children receives a lot of displeasure from their society.

Had I had the strength to do something, I would have tremored every part of my body as I

Most people maintain that serving the community should be voluntary, and each individual has the
absolute freedom to join or not to join the military service. However, it is argued that military
service builds individual personality and improves his skills in combat and defense, so there is no
rational reason not to make conscription mandatory. A person s character changed for the better
during his service in the military. To begin with, mandatory service teaches the person self
discipline. Michael Anthony, an author who served in US army, writes in his article, What the
Military Teaches About Self Discipline, that discipline must be ground into conscript. He needs to

Using GIS in the Study of the Steel Industry
How GIS is used in the study case? The U.S. steel industry continues to face formidable
competition globally, especially from a costing, supply chain, and procurement perspective. The
intensity of this competition is forcing many steel producers to look for greater efficiencies form
their own operations. One of the most effective continues to be the streamlining how product,
project, and process information to create a unified system of record which can be used for
knowledge management (Armstrong, 2008). From an analysis of the readings in Using GIS
Technology for Document and Asset Management (Armstrong, 2008) it is apparent that visual
representation of information and knowledge taxonomies across the various locations of a U.S.
Steel manufacturing plant are invaluable in increasing efficiency and performance. These
manufacturing centers often rely on a very broad set of content based sources, information and
knowledge all used for keeping each production machine running efficiently while also ensuring that
the steel mill workers have the information they need to do their jobs. The case study is unique

Sedimentation
The deforestation, agriculture, resource extraction, urbanization, and infrastructure development

climate change.
All these activities impact on sedimentation process of the River in different ways. Assessing these
impacts comprehensively is important for more effective environmental management of the river

Five Pillars Of Islam And Islam
Five Pillars of Islam All great things are built on a solid and strong foundation. The religion of

1.Write a descriptive paragraph of the physical environment, describe the room, number of people
attending, ages, gender, ethnicity, etc.
The Alcoholic Anonymous meeting I attended was organized by East Valley Intergroup of
Alcoholics Anonymous, at Montessa Meeting Hall in Gold Canyon, Arizona. This meeting
occurred at 1000 on a Wednesday morning. The room, where the meeting occurred, consisted of a
business meeting atmosphere, with wooden walls, lack of windows, 12 metal chairs in a circular
construction, with an informal dress code. Twelve individuals attended the group 8 members, 2
family members, the leader of the group, and myself. Of the twelve individuals, seven were males
and five were females. The individuals in the group appeared ... Show more content on

I introduced myself to the leader, asked him about his role as the leader of the meeting, helped
place the chairs in the room, and selected a chair to sit in. I did not want to cause a distraction or
mess up the flow of the AA meeting. As the meeting began, I introduced myself to the members of
the group and stated my purpose for being at the AA meeting. When questioned about my role, I
stated that I am a nursing student who wanted to experience an AA meeting, to learn more about
addiction and how it impacts individuals lives, and what role I can do, as a nurse, to provide care
for a current and/or recovering alcoholic. This response sparked an interest in many of the
members, as they began to ask about my schooling. I answered questions, such as where I want to
school, what I liked about the program, and how I viewed those with addiction. I kept it short and
sweet, as I did not want to take too much time out of the meeting to discuss myself. As the topic of
discussion moved from my schooling to the meeting, I quietly observed and actively listened to the
various stories and advice. After the meeting finished, I thanked both the leader and the members
for sharing their personal stories with me and allowing me the opportunity to witness an AA

Analysis Of The Movie Ava
Ava had found herself in more than a few situations that had left her cheeks bright red with
embarrassment and shame, but this topped all of them by far. It was bad enough that her
bronzed, nubile body was marred by the grime and dirt that seemed to infest every spot upon the
floor of the locker room. In fact, it was bad enough that her rival, who had just beat and
humiliated her in front of an audience, was now being pleased by Ava s tongue. However, the
worst part of it all, as she lay there with her tongue tween Aida s folds and her breasts being toyed
with like they were stress balls, was that she was enjoying it.
Despite just how terrible and messed up all of it was, Ava couldn t help but feel her arousal
growing by the minute. Her ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
What she had not really counted on was the extensive experience of her opponent, which was not
wholly known to her, or simply just how easy her plan was to decipher.
So, instead of really resisting her opponent, all Ava was doing was playing exactly into the Valkyrie
s hands. And it was to this end that when Aida began to hurl obscenities and threats like alms to a
beggar, she quickened her pace. If everything went according to plan, Aida would flow between
orgasms until the entire experience began to hurt and exhaust rather than pleasure.
Aida moaned out as she began to finish once more, her whole body twitching and writhing
against the admittedly talented tongue of the girl below her. It was always somewhat
astonishing to her just how easy it was to use her conquered foes. She played them like a fiddle,
and Ava was no different. The dumb brunette was, as her phone displayed, just another in a long
line girls who had been reduced to unabashed sluts. The whole idea reminded Aida that one
picture of her foe s humiliation was hardly enough to remind her of just how complete the
process had been. As she teetered over the edge of her second orgasm she grabbed a fistful of her
conquered foe s hair, pulling her back just enough to encapsulate her mouth as she commanded
Smile! before snapping a picture and returning Ava to her place. Looking at the photo, she was
pleased at how easily Ava had given in, a wide grin on the

Peer and Self Assessment Strategies for University Students
1.0 Introduction The topic of self assessment and peer assessment among university students is
fueling a lot of debate from scholars and practitioners in the education specialty. This owes to the
reality that Nulty (2011) completed a study on the topic in question. It is necessary to define the
terms self and peer assessments because their definitions are vital ingredients to the upcoming
discussion. Consequently, (White, 2009) reveals that self assessment requires an individual to
evaluate him or herself. In addition, the same author also defines peer assessment as an evaluation
where the efforts of a learner are evaluated by his/her peers. This study identifies the reality that
even though various scholars have studied the topic in... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In the self and peer assessments, students participate in setting the criteria, evaluating performance,
and providing feedback. The authors advise that even though students participate in the assessment
process, the teachers should always make the final decision. Thus, self and peer assessments
encourages students to appreciate the procedure of evaluating and making judgments. Furthermore,
the use of peer assessment strategies promotes team work among learners, which is an essential
quality to employers. Furthermore, self and peer assessments enables learners to reflect on
individual performances by evaluating themselves. Therefore, peer and self assessment implies that
there is lower teacher involvement and increased student involvement that in co assessments. This
lowers the burden to educators by reducing the time and effort of assessing students individually. In
fact, this time and effort could be used in different areas that benefit both students and teachers. The
fact that peer and self assessments not only encourages learners to acquire knowledge, but also to
evaluate knowledge implies that this technique encourages deeper learning. Since the use of peer
and self and peer assessment encourages deeper learning, it sufficed to mention that it transforms
students to problem solvers. This surpasses the traditional assessment that developed

Essay on The Kite Runner Relationship and Symbolism
How does Hosseini use symbolism in The Kite Runner to present key relationships? You should
consider different reader responses and the extent to which your critical approach assists your
interpretation. In Khaled Hosseini s novel, The Kite Runner , it is often thought that symbols and
metaphors are used as visual representations to reinforce and put emphasis on important stages in
the novel. In can be seen that symbols are used in the novel to highlight particular moments in key
relationships. For example Kites, the Pomegranate tree, Scars and the Slingshot are each used to put
emphasis on specific moments in the relationships between Amir and Hassan and Amir and Baba.
Through using symbolism and metaphor to present these key... Show more content on

At the end of the novel, the roles are swapped. Amir acts as the kite runner, whereas Sorhab
(Hassan s son who represents Hassan at this point) is the kite flyer. This could be symbolic of
Amir completing his journey of redemption and him re establishing his relationship with Hassan.
In particular, I feel that in chapter 7, the Blue Kite is used as a symbol of Hassan s loyalty
towards Amir. Hassan will not give up the blue kite which he ran for Amir after winning the kite
tournament, even when he is faced with rape as he is afraid that giving up the kite will
jeopardize his friendship with Amir. This could be seen as symbolic of the protection and
dedication which Hassan shows towards Amir. The blue kite is an object which is in between
Hassan and Assef in chapter seven, in the same way that in chapter five, Amir is in between
Hassan and Assef. Hassan won t let the blue kite get torn or damaged by Assef in the same way
that he wouldn t let Assef hurt Amir in chapter 5, in my opinion the blue kite is clearly a symbol
of Hassan s dedication and devotion towards Amir; he would rather endure rape than disappoint
him. Secondly the Pomegranate tree can be seen as a symbol of Amir and Hassan friendship,
childhood innocence and shelter. The tree is presented to the reader in two different states. When
the tree appears in the first part of the story, in chapter 4, the tree is shown as being fruitful and
blooming with blood red

  • 2. Trinity To Nazienzus Essay The Trinity to Nazienzus is absolutely essential in his Five Theological Orations, and in them he defines the Father is the Begetter and the Emitter; without passion of course, and without reference to time, and not in a corporeal manner. This means that though numerically distinct there is no severance of Essence. Christ is not subordinate to the Father, and the Holy Ghost is not subordinate to the Father or the Son; the Godhead is Triune in unity and is of the same substance. Even though the Holy Spirit and the Son are from [the Father], though not after Him, they still share the same essence as Him in the Trinity. This is an important distinction, because any part of the Godhead that has not existed for all time would not be Godby definition. Nazienzus explains this by saying that the cause is not necessarily prior to its... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... He goes so far to say that the notion of Two Sons, one of God the Father, the other of the mother warrants the loss of adoption into God s Kingdom. God and man have two distinct natures, just as the body and the soul are two distinct natures, but there are not two sons or two gods in the person of Jesus. This is valid because it adheres to scripture, and because the alternative is heresy. There are plentiful examples of the divinity of God, one being John 8:58, where Jesus proclaims to the dismay of the Pharisees before Abraham was, I am, which caused them to try and stone Him for what they considered blasphemy. His humanity can be seen in Matthew 4:2 where He hungered after fasting for 40 days and nights, and in Mark 15:37 where the human person of Jesus died on the cross, even though his deity descended to Sheol. This shows the validity of the Trinitarian model, which means that the Three are One and the same in Godhead, as Christ is still the fully functioning second person of the ... • 4. Essay on The Essence of Pop Culture Talk about Pop Music, Talk about Pop MusicВ… was one of the most catchy phrases of the 1980 s. Just as in the 80 s, today we see many characteristics of pop culture effecting our lives. But, what is pop culture? br br I spent some time online trying to answer my question and time after time I was led to the same direction: pop culture is what we see, hear, speak, and are otherwise exposed to on a daily basis. The infomercials we see late on television, the billboards we see on the side of the road, the junk mail we receive, the links on the web pages we visit, and the radio commercials we hear all tie together to form this idea of pop culture. These, plus many other aspects, form our minds and teach us how to be culturally smart. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This is seen when the chorus states in the prologue, Two households, both alike in dignity... From ancient grudge break to new mutiny, Where civil blood makes civil hands clean (I, Prologue, 1 4). This refers to the long standing feud between the Montagues and Capulets, which is the primary source of conflict in the play. This feud between the families resulted in the love between Romeo and Juliet to be forbidden, which caused great difficulty for the lovers. Therefore, if the parents would forgive the other family and end the feud, Romeo and Juliet would have likely been able to safely fall in love and marry, perhaps their love would even be encouraged, thus avoid their unnecessary deaths. • 23. Noneconomic Damages Reform Essay Noneconomic Damages Reform There has been over three decades of debate over a reform that affects everything from insurance and health care premiums to the prices of goods and services. The Tort law gives civilians the right to put liability on a company and sue for a multitude of different things if something goes wrong. A main issue of the tort reformis noneconomic damages. Noneconomic damages are awards granted for pain and suffering. A solution to this ongoing problem is to set a cap, or ceiling, on the amount of compensation one can receive for his or her pain and suffering. An issue with setting caps is that they are argued against as unconstitutional and violates the right to trial by jury (Hudson) stated in the sixth... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... According to Sherman Joyce, Victor Schwartz, and Darren McKinney of the ATRA, over 30 states have implemented some sort of noneconomic damages reform. For example, in 1986 the Alaskan government established a state cap of $500,000 on, noneconomic damages for cases that do not involve any physical impairment or disfigurement. In 1997, Alaska adjusted the noneconomic damages reform once more. In this modification of the reform, the state went into deeper detail addressing different instances that could occur and the sufficient compensation for an individual s pain and suffering. For a single death or injury to a greater extent of $400,000, they are awarded as much as their life expectancy multiplied by $8,000. In another instance involving severe disfigurement or physical impairment exceeding $1,000,000, it is the individual s life expectancy (in years) multiplied by $25,000 (2). Many other states including Alabama, California, Missouri, and other states have established their own type of cap or system for awarding damages for pain and suffering. In states that have a cap or system of deciding awards, they have lower insurance and health care premiums and the prices of goods and services stays lower. This benefits the state s economy as well as the Nation s. According to most news articles and journals interpreting the progression of the tort reform, noneconomic damages reforms are the most common throughout the states. As ... • 26. Child Abuse Is A Social Problem Essay Child abuse is a social problem that continuously produces a wave of concern. The State of New Jersey Department of Children and Families explains that Abuse is the physical, sexual or emotional harm or risk of harm to another child under the age of 18 caused by a parent or other person who acts as a caregiver for the child (2016). The harsh reality of child abuseand its consequences is recognized throughout this essay. The cost of child abuse can be understood through direct and indirect costs. Direct costs describe those of the child welfare system, judicial and law enforcement, health and mental health systems (New Jersey Child Assault Prevention, 2015). Comparatively, indirect costs apply to much more long term problems/a turn of events the child victim and their abuser(s) may have. These costs involve the effects abuse has or may have in regards to education, mental health, substance abuse, teen pregnancy, welfare dependency, domestic violence, homelessness, juvenile delinquency and adult criminality (New Jersey Child Assault Prevention, 2015). It costs a substantial amount of money to deal with child abuse. Moving away from these consequences, it is arguable that children exposed to violence or abuse, if left unaddressed or ignored, are at an increased risk for emotional and behavioral problems in the future. In particular, I feel that in chapter 7, the Blue Kite is used as a symbol of Hassan s loyalty towards Amir. Hassan will not give up the blue kite which he ran for Amir after winning the kite tournament, even when he is faced with rape as he is afraid that giving up the kite will jeopardize his friendship with Amir.
