Caleb Bradham created Pepsi in 1902 after developing a unique cola flavor made from kola nut extract, vanilla and oils. He launched the Pepsi-Cola Company and registered the Pepsi trademark in 1902. The business grew and by 1903 Caleb had sold over 7,968 gallons of Pepsi syrup. Pepsi has since released variations like Crystal Pepsi, Pepsi Blue and Pepsi Gold and is commonly packaged in cans and bottles.
