Sang Woo's presentation summarizes various ocean creatures including a coelacanth, green sea turtle, manta ray, humpback whale, swordfish, great white shark, American angler fish, clown triggerfish, laced moray, vampire squid, chambered nautilus, scaleless dragonfish, and brain coral. For each creature, brief details are provided about their physical characteristics such as size, habitat, diet, and behaviors.
This was a report that I wrote to my friend Michael and to James Maslow from Big time rush. This is also a give to all you shark lovers. By the way HAPPY SHARK WEEK!!!!!!!!!!!
Some of the many endangered species are described in this slide.
Due to environmental changes many species are slowly declining and extinction will be the next step if we didn't change our environment.
Sorry I was suppose to upload this powerpoint on August 9th but I just couldnt walt so any way this powerpoint that is all about sharks. If you want to learn about sharks before shark week then this is the powerpoint for you. This has info on different types of species of sharks. But I will posted on facebook on August 9th . So if you are on facebook make sure to check it out

This presentation describes how life is under water and describes all the things that you can find in the ocean, like fish, coral reefs and many habitats that fish live in.
5. This weird looking fish is called coelacanth and
scientist thought it was extinct but in 1938 it was
discovered a guy named Captain Hendrick Goosen.
This fish has 8 fins-2 dorsal fins, 2 pectoral fins, 2
pelvic fins, 1 anal fin, and 1 caudal fin.It can grow
up to 1.8m.Although it is discovered, it is critically
endangered.
6. This turtle is called green sea turtle. Green
turtles’ average weight is 68 –190 kg and
their lengths are 150 cm. They can swim
32km per hour and green turtles are
endangered because humans eat them or
sell them.
7. This weird thingy is called Manta Ray. It
look like a bird but more bigger than a
bird. Manta Rays can grow up to 7m in a
width and they eat 30kilogram plankton
in one day.
8.
9. This big whale is called humpback whale. They
can grow up to 16m long and weighing 30-50
tons. They eat krill and small fish. Humpback
whales migrate 25000km and feed only in
summer. They don’t attack humans.
10. This fish is called swordfish. Their common length
are 3meter and 536kilograms but maximum is
4.55meter and 650kg. Swordfish can swim
97km/h fast. Swordfish prefer water temperature
between 18°C and 22°C.
11. This fearsome shark is called the great white shark.
It is 3.5-4m long and females 4.5-5m. The longest
length is 11.3m. They can have life spans 30 years
over. They are dangerous and very strong and
they sometimes attack humans. The great white
shark is arguably the world's largest known
extant macropredatory fish.
12. This fish is called American angler fish.
American angler fish can be 140cm but their
usual size is 100cm. This fish has a weird face but
this face are helpful. Its mouth helps to
swallow fish that has bigger body than it, also it’s
flat body helps camouflage in the sand and
it’s spine can be very strong. It lives in 610m dee
p down the ocean.
13. This fish is called clown triggerfish. This fish c
an reach up to 50cm in length. It is found in
1~75m and found in tropical Indo-Pacific.
14. This dotted moray is called laced moray (or
black spotted moray). It can grow up to 3m
and they are found in Indo- Pacific between
1-45m depths. It has very poor eyesight.
They react badly to heavy metals such as
copper.
15. This squid is called vampire squid and it
grows maximum 30cm. Vampire squid lives
in 600m-900m where there is no light.
When predator bites them, they can
regenerate.
16. This looks like a snail but it isn’t and this lives in the
ocean. It’s name is chambered nautilus and its shell’s
diameter is 160milliliters. They have no lens and
they have 90 tentacles with no suckers.
They live in 1800 feet deep (or deeper) which the are
living in 549meters deep where there is no light.
They can grow up to 20 centimeters in length. There
average life spans believed to be about 20 years.
17. This fish is called
scaleless
dragonfish. It lives
in 1524 meters
(5000feet) and its
maximum length
is 12.2cm. They
are harmless to
humans.
18. This is called brain coral. Corals are animals
and they can reproduce sexually. They are
found in 1-30 and sometimes they can be
found in 47 meters.
