What is the Framework? national initiative to support the uptake of e-learning in communities, industry and the vocational and technical education system enhances education, training and employment opportunities  Toolboxes, New Practices, Learnscope, Client Engagement , Networks, Benchmarking ..  funded by the Australian Government and all States and Territories.
Community Engagement regional, rural and remote communities face unique challenges to access education and training isolation, distance and lack of support networks limit education and training opportunities technology can and is creating a solution.
Community Engagement Project aims to foster and embed e-learning in disadvantaged communities supports economic and regional development and sustainability strengthens partnerships locally, regionally and nationally.

One of the most popular, blogger.com has millions of users; Can be a good way to encourage fluency for literacy learners;  A good way to regularly post info from a project;  Various classroom teachers have used the format in different ways ..
A wiki,   at wikispaces.com  - for building knowledge together http://elearnala.wikispaces.com Benefits of a wiki Many people can register / login Multiple authors Collect and build knowledge together Other ‘hosted’ wikis include Pbwiki.com and wikieducator.org/ Moodle (and EdNA Groups have wiki built in.
Audio / podcast at eg odeo.com For sharing knowledge, broadcasting events ..  A good podcasting tool will let you:  Upload mp3 files Record direct onto web page Record from mobile phone There are other ways to embed audio on the page, but these ones (eg odeo, podomatic, gcast) make it easier.
