From March 12 to March 16, 2014, pupils from the 1st Primary School of Pyrgos, Greece, participated in a mobility trip to Slovenia, showcasing their project on traditional soft toys. The students engaged in cultural activities and collaborated with peers from schools in Slovenia and Romania. The initiative aimed to foster connections and provide toys for children with differing needs in the community.

4. On Tuesday the 12th, June 2014 the pupils of the 1st
Primary School gathered in the auditorium of the school
to attend the Passport to Slovenia presentation.
Apollo, the Greek mascot, with the help of Steven, a 5th
grader, was there of course to make the introductions!!!

11. • Our product was to research traditional treasured
soft toys/dolls from our local history and make
individual links with schools, institutions or charities
in our community that have children with differing
needs, e.g. sight, hearing.
• In Greece we did some research with the valuable
help of our amazing grandparents and parents. Then
pupils designed and made some extraordinary toys.
• We also manufactured a toy for a partner. Greece
made a cat for the Romanian school and Italy made
a sistrum for our school.
• Enjoy our product, named “Treasured Toy For a
Friend in Need”!!
