Learning /Teaching/Training Activities in Slovenia
“I’m collaborating with ICT for my School”

TIME ACTIVITY DETAIL
08:20 – 9.55 Welcome.
Pupils’ presentations of the school,
their town, and country (Slovenia
and Portugal).
Pupils’ Word presentations of the
games (Slovenia and Portugal).
Learning about other school system, culture and sights
of the county (Slovenia and Portugal). By the
presentations, they will learn and improve their English
language and expand their knowledge about different
cultures.
Learning about new games through theory by the help of
Microsoft Word Programme. Pupils will learn some
simple words in Slovene and Portuguese language (like
stop, start, jump…).
All the material will be uploaded into eTwinning
classroom.
9.55 – 10:15 Coffee break, snack
10:15 – 11:00 Tour to our school guided by pupils. Classrooms and different lessons (pupils and teachers
will get to know the work of our school).

2. 11:00 – 13:00 Demonstration, learning and
playing new games presented by
Slovenian and Pourtuguese pupils.
Pupils will learn new games from native players and
have a chance to build good friendships. When they will
come home will demonstrate the games to their peers
and play them. They will learn some simple words of
other nations.
Those activities will facitilitate the recognition and
validation of knowledge, skills and competences
acquired through formal and non-formal learning.
All the material will be uploaded into eTwinning
classroom.
13.00 – 14.00 Lunch time
14.10 A trip to the capital city of Slovenia -
Ljubljana
A sightseeing tour in Ljubljana. Pupils will peep into our
capital city, get to know something about the history of
the town, see the most famous buildings and feel the
city throb. They will take photos which will be used in
another word activity.
Accompanying teachers will help with the
communication and understanding.

Turkey).
Pupils’ Word presentations of the
games (Italy and Turkey).
Learning about other school systems, culture and
sights of the country (Italy and Turkey). By the
presentations, they will learn and improve their English
language and expand their knowledge about different

3. 10.15 – 11.30 Pupils will work in mixed groups in a
computer room making a poster of
their interests (favourite food, pop
group….) guided by Slovenian
teacher.
Pupils will share and exchange their abilities on ICT
work and integrate them into a real school lesson with
the product which will be a team work poster. This will
be the added value of their courses which were held at
partners’ schools.
Teachers will monitor their work, discussions….
Accompanying teachers will help with the
communication and understanding.
They will evaluate their work and share their
experiences having during the training course.
The coordinators will monitor the work, discuss,
prepare a plan for the next activities with the help of the
international observer Ana Paula who will be our
advisor.
All the material will be uploaded into eTwinning
classroom.
11.30 – 13.30 Demonstration, learning and playing

14.30 A sightseeing in Škofja Loka guided
by the pupils of English Drama Club
Hotheads, visiting Loka’s castle
Pupils and teachers will go round the old part of Škofja
Loka with the castle and get to know something about
the history of the town and its castle.They will take
photos which will be used in another word activity.
Accompanying teachers will help with the
communication and understanding
20.00 Dinner for all partner schools to our
costs.

8.00 – 18.00 The whole day trip – Postojna cave
and Piran
Postojna cave is the world famous attraction with olms.
Piran is a town with its medieval architecture with
narrow streets and located on the gulf on the Adriatic
sea.
Pupils will see the most beautiful places of Slovenia
and get familiar with their History and Geography.
They will take photos which will be used in another
word activity
Accompanying teachers will help with the
communication and understanding.

8.20 – 11.00 Pupils will work in in a computer
room making a poster of their
activities in Slovenia (individual and
as a group).
The workshop will be guided by
Slovenian teacher and the others will
help her.
Coordinators meeting for planning
the next term activities and their
dessimination.
Evaluation of the work which has

11.00 – 12.00 Playing games Training session before a match.
12.00 – 13.00 Lunch time
18.00 – 19.00 A show organized by English
Drama Club called Hotheads
(mentor Betka Mahnič)
This will be the official celebration of 30 years of the
program Erasmus which had different names. Turkish
and Italian embassies have already confirmed the
participation. Our agency, the mayor, parents, press
and local media will be invited as well.

08:00 – 12.00 A trip to Bled Bled with its island and the castle on the rock is the
pearl of Gorenjska region. Pupils will get familiar with
its History and Geography.
They will take photos which will be used in another
word activity when they will return to their homes.

Games competition among all pupils
A Farewell.
Pupils will play new games in mixed teams to establish
a good friendship and use the new words they have
learned during the 1.st exchange activities.
