LUNCHES
• School lunches can be ordered every day.
• The school uses an online payment system.
• This can be used to order lunches from home.
• Saves the children or parents having to sort or look
after money.
Children have the opportunity to earn Finer Diner with
good behaviour in the dinner hall.
CLASS CHARTER
• Children have looked at the UN
Convention on the Rights of the Child.
• They identified rights they felt were
most relevant to making our
classroom a quality learning
environment.
• From this they created the Class
Charter and have agreed to follow
the statements.
BEHAVIOUR
• There are high expectations of behaviour in P4.
• Children are aware of expectations.
• Children are encouraged to reflect on their
behaviour and the rights of others in order to make
a better choice.
• Positive behaviour is awarded with dojo points,
verbal praise.
• Negative behaviour results in the use of the
Corrective Actions Flowchart.
• Restorative approaches are used to resolve conflict.
P4 HOUSEKEEPING
• Please make sure your child has their name on everything.
• Please ensure your child has gym shoes in class at all times
for health and safety reasons and to protect the floor
coverings.
• Please make sure they have pencils and rubbers.
• Please send a water bottle.
• Juice will only be allowed at break and lunch.
• Please ensure your child has a gym kit in school for Tuesdays
and Thursdays.
• Please check homework diaries daily and sign any comments
from the teacher.
• Library day is a Wednesday.
Pick up times and collections.
Please ensure that pupils arrive at school on time to
ensure that we meet safe arrival guidelines and avoid
disruption to lessons.
Prompt pick up is also necessary as we often have
other children going to several areas or events after
school.
It is extremely important that we know who is
responsible for collecting children and that the school
is notified of any changes.
WIDER ACHIEVEMENTS
• We like to celebrate your child’s achievements
from outside school at assemblies and also in
class.
P4
• Term 1 – The Celts - History
Thank you for coming.
Please make sure you sign to let us know you were
here.
Please do not hesitate to contact myself or the
school if you have any questions.
