Friday 15th Sept (or preferably tonight)
Your payment was due last Friday so please
make it asap if not you have not already

4. First Week at SBAS
 Fantastic start – settled well
 All staff have commented on how grown up the student have
been
 Very respectful
 Kind, caring and open to meeting new people
 Got the hang of the canteen
 IPads all set up and ready

6. Phasels Wood arrangements
Wed 27th – Fri 29th Sept 7M, 7N, 7R
Wed 4th – Fri 6th Oct 7A, 7B, 7L

7. Timings
 Coaches leave at 9:00am, so students need to be in
school by 8:30 (no later)
 Coaches return at 2:15/2:30pm on Friday
 Students will be free to go home on their return.
Please inform us if you wish your child to remain in
school until 3:25

8. Phasels Wood SBAS
 No food
 No electricals
 No phones
 No news is good news
 Staff to student ratio is 1:10, plus the Phasels Wood staff
 We want this trip to be enjoyable, to develop students’
resilience, broaden their circle of friends and give them a
positive experience of challenging physical activities,
requiring communal support in a natural environment

9. Behaviour expectations
 Students will have an assembly on expectations
 Perfect behaviour at all times
 The students are representing our school and
therefore need to show respect
 They will not be allowed to go in other peoples
tents

10. Music lessons
• Music lesson timetables are on display in the music
centre. Many are online.

• Lessons are on a minimum of 3 week rotation.
Students soon get into the swing of this
