Give others the freedom to be themselves
Take care of our resources and keep the classroom tidy
Recovery Plan
During our recovery planning our curriculum will focus on
learning, teaching and assessment in Health and Wellbeing,
Literacy and Numeracy.
• HWB Focus: Emotion works: how we are feeling, why we feel
like this and how we can regulate our emotions.
• Literacy Focus: The description bubble: using detailed
language to create vivid imagery in our readers mind. We are
also reading ‘Friend or Foe’ by Michael Morpurgo.
• Numeracy Focus: Revising topics from P5 such as
multiplication, fractions, decimals, percentages and division.
Home Learning
Home learning will begin after October Break.
• A home learning choice board will be issued for the class and a
personal reader that can stay at home for 4 weeks and then
returned to school for a new one.
• Your child should share their home learning evidence in
Teams. If this is not accessible, they should use their home
learning jotter and return this to school only when they have
completed all tasks.
• Jotters and books coming from home will be quarantined for
72 hours in line with our risk assessment.
Class Routines
• Please ensure all uniform is labelled.
• Children should bring their own water bottle to school.
• No indoor shoes required.
