3. School Uniform
• Black or grey trousers/skirt/ shorts / pinafore
• White shirt/blouse or white polo shirt/ school polo shirt
• School tie
• Blue sweatshirt/ blue school sweatshirt/ blue cardigan
• Black shoes/ trainers
• Summer: Blue and white gingham dress with blue
cardigan
5. P.E. Kit
During our recovery phase children should wear the
following P.E. kit to school on their P.E. days only:
• white polo shirt/ t-shirt - with school logo or plain
• blue sweatshirt/cardigan - with school logo or plain
• plain black tracksuit bottoms/ joggers
• black trainers
• girls who are wearing a skirt over their leggings can
remove their skirt on P.E. days
Our P.E. Days are: Tuesday and Friday
9. Recovery Plan
During our recovery planning our curriculum will focus on learning, teaching and
assessment in Health and Wellbeing, Literacy and Numeracy. Composite classes plan
together to ensure consistency across stages.
• HWB Focus:
– Building our Community.
– Emotion Works recovery curriculum.
– What happens when we are ill? (symptoms, medicines, hygiene)
• Literacy Focus:
– Reading – non-fiction texts.
– Writing – using the description bubble. Creating descriptive texts. Free writing
opportunities.
– Phonics – revision of key patterns/common words.
• Numeracy Focus:
– Revision of counting strategies. Forward/backward number sequences.
– Place value.
– Estimation/rounding.
– Comparing/ordering.
10. Home Learning
• Home learning will begin after October Break.
• A home learning choice board will be issued for the
class and a personal reader that can stay at home for 2
weeks and then returned to school for a new one.
• Your child should share their home learning evidence in
their home learning jotter and only return this to school
when they have completed all the tasks.
• Jotters and books coming from home will be
quarantined for 72 hours in line with our risk
assessment.
11. Class Routines
• Please ensure all uniform is labelled.
• Children should bring their own water bottle to school.
• No indoor shoes required.
• Children should arrive at their classroom door between
8:50-9:00am.
• Children should bring their own pencil cases and
stationery, otherwise the school can provide this for
them. Please ensure they have a writing pencil and
rubber. Felt/gel pens are seldom used for class
activities.
• Children should bring a warm jacket for outdoor
P.E./Outdoor learning/ break/lunch time every day.
