2. Introduction

My short film include a young adult male who lives on his
own coming back home from work where he finds out he has
food missing. He tried to find out what is causing this on
going issue by purchasing CCTV cameras. Once he has the
CCTV he watches the footage and is surprised instantly
when he finds out what is going on.
3. Purpose
This short from is a student project which will allow me
to showcase what I am able to do as a director and add
it to my portfolio of work.
If my film is able to gain enough exposure it may also
be seen by a company who may want to make it into a
full length feature length.
4. Brandon
Brandon is the main character of the film, he is a middle
aged adult. He works a standard office job on the living
wage. He also lives on his own and doesn’t have much
of a social life.
5. Evil old lady
The old lady lives in Brandon’s home but he is not
aware of this. When he goes out to work she sneaks
into his kitchen and helps herself to some of his
food. She has been creeping around in the house for
a while now but he has only just started to realise.
6. Costume
The costume for my main character is going to be a suit.
This is due to character working in an office which he is at or
on the way back from in the duration of this short film. The
work colleague will also be wearing the same sort of smart
uniform to show they are at work.
7. This location is a going to be
the staff kitchen as it looks
similar to an office break
room. The costumes the

office based clothing as they
are in a professional work
environment in an office
setting.
8. This location is going to be in the kitchen. The costumes in this scene will
include the main character, Brandon, wearing office attire as he has just
gotten back home from work.

going to be the living room.

robe.
14. Post-production
This short film could be developed in the future by
having the main characters co worker take over the
lead role and try to defeat the evil lady.

festivals/competitions.

17. Target Audience
The target audience for my short film will be horror fans of the age 12-19.
This is as my short film is a horror film however it is not too graphic
therefore it might bee appealing to adults therefore teenage will want to
watch it as most horror films are 18+ therefore they can't watch them but
can watch mine. The socio economical grouping for these teenagers
would be E s they don't have a disposable income. However their parents
would need to be a C3 or around that to be able to give their children
money to go to the cinemas and watch the film.
My secondary audience is going to be young adults between the ages on
21-29. This is due to people round that age being interested in horror films.
People of this age are likely to have just got into their first or 2nd full time
jobs therefore they will likely be of socio class C/B. This would also include
uni students and apprentices.
