UNM Valencia Campus Social Media Plan outlines strategies to engage, educate, and empower the campus community through social media. ETUG Ditching training workshops: Building learning capacities in new ways

Indiana Wesleyan University's Adult and Graduate Programs offer accelerated learning through condensed course information and less time between classes, allowing students to finish their degrees faster than a typical semester system. The enrollment team started several new cohort groups whose students are now closer to achieving their dreams of completing their degrees. In August, Indiana Wesleyan University celebrated over a thousand students who finished their programs, with proud graduates walking across the stage to receive their diplomas.

The majority of activity occurred at public libraries.

UNSW Library has undergone significant changes over the past decade in response to the increasing shift to digital resources and online learning. The library abolished subject-specific branches, eliminated front desk and technical services departments, and redesigned library spaces. This has allowed the library to release resources to develop new services focused on research support, like research data management and research publications management. The library is also moving services online and emphasizing self-service options to better serve a large student population in the digital environment. Overall, the changes have positioned the library to redefine its role in supporting research in new ways.

Andrade and Hazlitt collaborated to design a Library Orientation & Tour workshop to predominantly Spanish-speaking staff in the university’s Facilities department, who had been underserved in opportunities for professional development. Using word-of-mouth networks on campus to promote the program, and a an organization called “Viernes Por La Tarde” to recruit faculty, staff, and student volunteers from all walks at LMU, a five-part series of workshops was created. As a result, students are piling on debt and recent graduates are struggling under the weight of loans they wouldn't have needed 10 to 20 years ago. The Cougars Affordable Learning Materials Project (CALM) is part of the CSU Affordable Learning Solutions initiative started in 2010. CALM aims to aid faculty in replacing costly textbooks with lower cost alternatives by using high-quality open educational resources (OER), library resources, digital or customized textbooks, and/or faculty-authored materials.
