This document outlines a module on applying information and communication technology to adult teaching and learning. The module is worth 9 credits and aims to help students demonstrate understanding of computer systems, use ICT to create teaching materials, search the internet, use relevant programs, and manage information. Students will be assessed through continuous classroom assessments, a midterm test, participation, a project, and portfolio, which together are worth 50% of the grade, while a final exam is worth the other 50%. Teaching methods will be participatory and flexible, using seminars scheduled at the facilitator's convenience.
