The Protocol Of Operations Of Bank Solutions Essay
Abstract
After the assessment and audit carried out on the protocol of operations of Bank Solutions, we
identified uncontrolled access to event logs as one of the biggest security threat factor the institution is
currently faced with. It goes without saying that as a result of this phenomenon, the institution s
information is at a great risk of alteration and even access by external entities. As a result, consumer
protection is far from being guaranteed, as well as privacy policy being highly compromised. Some of
the power users have access to event logs whereby they have administrative privileges of making
changes to the captured information, majorly transactions information, putting into consideration that
the power users are in a position to also change their own event logs. There is no guarantee of the
trustworthiness and credibility of the power users, hence a precautionary measure has to be taken in
order to cover this gap and enhance information security and privacy policy for the consumers.
For this particular security gap, logical access control and administrative privilege management needs
to be implemented in order to deal with this uncertainty of information security. Under the adaptation
of this technology, power users will be well monitored in all the activities they carry out in the item
processing facilities, enhancing a sense of accountability and transparency in handling of the event
logs. This guarantees information security, correct and accurate record of

Background And Significance Of The Development Of Future...
Background and Significance Throughout the process of the development of future professionals for
various organizations the origin of their foundation and success can often times be directly attributed
to a successful internship experience. According to the National Society for Internships and
Experiential Education (NSIEE) an internship is any carefully monitored work or service experience
in which an individual has intentional learning goals and reflects actively on what he or she is learning
throughout the experience. (Gilbert, 1995) In the broadest sense, internship development encompasses
the whole process of increasing the knowledge and the capabilities of the people of our society.

Talent does not necessarily make itself known without the proper environment and cultivation.
Additionally, it is clear that internships not only improve the quality of human resources; it also
increases these resources by bringing to light motivations and skills within the individual that might
otherwise be considered uncultivated and undeveloped. Throughout the research conducted the
ultimate goal is to establish an efficient and effective internship program that will benefit the
organization and the intern as well. The purpose of the implementation of an internship program
within the selected organization is due to the lack of a formal process or structure for the intern when
direct inquiries are made to the employer. The research throughout this endeavor will be conducted
through the utilization of books, journals, and written surveys, and credible internet sources.
Literature Review The National Association of Schools of Public Affairs and Administration
(NASPAA) Committee on Public Service Internships have developed general guidelines and learning
goals for effective management of public service internship programs. (Chauhan, 1978) The
committee for NASPAA has, as declared that the mission of a public service internship should provide
the student with a work experience to give him or her a realistic exposure to an organizational
bureaucratic environment. (Chauhan, 1978) According to Chauhan (1978) ultimately, the experience

The Effective Management Of Water Quantity Is An Urgent...
Humans demand the need for the worlds freshwater supplies to be cultivated as the global population
upsurges. With water being one of the most important natural resources, once flowing freely in
abundance, it is beginning to become a highly valued commodity due to overuse, droughts, irrigation
and damming and reduced water quality. Water management is the administration of water resourced
under thorough policies and regulations that ensure a sustainable supply of water for present and
future generations. Australia has the lowest rainfall of all the inhabited continents as well as the least
river water, the smallest area of permanent wetlands and freshwater lakes. Coupled with the highest
levels of water consumption in the world, it is ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Collectively, these are fundamental decisions in which we can improve upon the way we utilise water
as a resource. Individuals, by implementing these decisions, are addressing the issue of water
conservation through the reduction of water use, reducing water pollution and health risks whilst
educating themselves about matters that affect their water supplies (Bliss and Paine, 2010).
Consequently, individuals have been involved in the decision making process, in order to address the
issue of Water management. This is evident through the measures Australian individuals take to ensure
sustainability.
The effective management of water quantity is an urgent issue facing Australia. Therefore, in
response, various groups have been involved in the decision making process addressing the issue.
Supplying Sydney with fresh, abundant and high in quality water is a significant geographical issue. A
range of organisations have the responsibility for water management and addressing the issues that
come along with it. Different groups target different issues such as the quality, quantity, recycling the
water, conserving it and educating communities about the issue. Various groups that have been
involved in the decision making process include The Australian Water Association, Water Group,

The Charter Of Rights And Freedom
Many Canadians of the 21st century still often wonder, was the creation of the Charter of Rights
Freedoms a mistake? It is believed that the Charter s creation was a significant benefit as it guarantees
certain political rights to Canadian citizens and civil rights of everyone in Canada from the policies
and actions of all areas and levels of government. However, many believe the Charter makes Canada
more like the United States, especially by serving corporate rights and individual rights rather than
group rights and social rights. Also, there are several rights that should be included in the Charter,
such as a right to health care and a basic right to free education. With this, by guaranteeing certain
political rights and civil rights to every Canadian citizen, it is evident that the creation of the Charter
of Rights Freedoms was not a mistake, and was truly a benefit to all Canadian citizens for many
important reasons. One important reason is that Charter guarantees all Canadians their legal rights as it
promises rights of people in dealing with the justice system and law enforcement are protected. In
addition with the guarantee of Canadians legal rights, is their language rights which is to assure people
have the right to use either the English or French language in communications with Canada s federal
government and certain provincial governments. As well as guaranteeing all Canadian s equality rights
to promise equal treatment before and under the law. The

America is the home to extensive variety of people, racially and ethnically. There are six transcendent
races in the USA: American Indian and Alaska Native, Native Hawaiian and Other Pacific Islander,
Asian, Black or African American, White, and individuals of two or more races. The race

Literary Devices In Out, Out By Robert Frost
The fun of using a chain saw is something anyone could enjoy. The feeling of power it gives, the mess
it makes, and the speed it has, but also the potential danger. This danger begs the question; should
children be allowed to use one? The poem Out, Out by published, and Pulitzer Prize winning poet
Robert Frost acknowledges a substantial crisis that was occurring at the time it was written. The poem
was published in 1916, and addresses the terrible labor conditions that children of the time were being
subjected to. While doing so he illustrates the idea that children were seen as expendable. The poem
tells the story of a young boy cutting firewood with a chainsaw in the evening. When his sister comes
to tell him it is time for dinner the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Unfortunately, not much has changed in the hearts of people. The world still contains little empathy, or
sympathy. This does not mean that all people feel this way, but little has changed since 1916. One
positive fact to note is that because of child labor laws the events of this poem can remain only in
poems and stories, and out of the news, at least in the United States and other first world nations.
However, in terms of adults caring for each other little has changed, people still do little to help others.
Not everyone is this way though, and the world would be a better place if others would follow in their
footsteps. For example, rather than shaming the poor people could help them get jobs, or instead of
laughing at people s problems they could help each other get through them. Perhaps after that Frost s
poem could become irrelevant and could instead be used as a reminder of how the world used to be,
and how much better off people are

Aseem quite vividly describes the first time he heard about the film and how he came to be the
cinematographer for it. He elaborates, I had just come back from New York after shooting the film
New York and Irrfan called me and said there s a film called Paan Singh Tomar. I hadn t ever heard
about him at the time. I had heard of Milkha Singh and other famous athletes and Phoolan Devi, Man
Singh and other notorious bandits but not Paan Singh Tomar. Irrfan said there is a film, my friend is
directing it, and he asked me to shoot it because of the way I shot Bhanwar (television docudrama).
He really liked the look in the series. Bhanwar was how I met Irrfan as he had come to Delhi to shoot
one of the episodes. So I met Tigmanshu and he gave me the script. The moment I read it I felt this
was my kind of script. I liked it a lot. I liked the movie Bandit Queen the way it was handled, the way
it was shot, the consistency of the film/cinematography. Not that it influences or impacts my work, but
I connected to the landscape it s pretty wild. You need to shoot that kind of landscape on Panavision

fact I didn t even go for recce because there was no time, I saw some pictures and gave them basic
requirements and started shooting.

Duty of Care Essay
Duty of Care: GELERAL
Week 2::Seminar 2
This concept is based on three proof of elements, its ingredients are A legal Duty of D towards the C
to exercise care in such conduct of D as falls within the scope of the duty, Breach of that Duty means
failure to come up to the standard required by law amp; Consequential damage to C which can be
attributed to D s conduct.
Duty of Care General: Duty is the primary control device which allows the courts to keep liability for

around the criteria for the exercise of a duty reflect differences of opinion as to the proper ambit of

In a decision of Privy Council , Yuen Kun Yeu v AG of Hong Kong, court interpreted the 1st stage of
Anns that, proximity of relationship means that there has to be some special relationship and the
relationship depends on the reasonable contemplation of the D that his carelessness may harm the C.
What happened in this case, X Company gained their license from the D and cheated C, lots of people
lost their money. Here court pointed that there was no special relation between C and D, there was no
proximity and thus no Duty. However, it may be said that it is also a policy decision because, the class
of people was so large, if court granted a claim then there would be a flood gate of new claims.

Arabian Nights Research Paper
Arabian Nights Essay The stories of The Arabian Nights examine the idea of living a more meaningful
life. Indeed, the stories suggest that certain life lessons need to be learned in order to live a more
prosperous and meaningful life. In each story, therefore, Sheharezade imparts a great deal of wisdom
to her husband, the Sultan Shariar, in an attempt to change his perspective on life, and to save her
own. From her stories he learns, firstly, that in order to live well a person must accept responsibility
for their actions. The sultan also learns that trust and loyalty, either given or betrayed, has a significant
impact on a person s capability to live a life with meaning. Finally, he learns that wealth offers
opportunity to accomplish great good or great evil; however, it is important for a truly successful
person to treat wealth responsibly and to value people more than material items. From every story she
tells him, both the Sultan and the viewer understand more about the importance of living a truly
meaningful life and how to do so. One lesson that a number of characters must learn in order to
change their ways and live more prosperously is to accept responsibility for their actions. In the story

Misconceptions In The Film Fursona
Dominic Rodriguez s Fursona , a 2016 film, documents the misconceptions faced by Americans who
believe in the furry lifestyle. A group of people who dress in elaborate animal costumes as a means of
typically light hearted leisure would mostly consider themselves to be furries. Each furry develops a
fursona , a play on persona and the documentray s namesake, and the members have coolectively
named their following The Fandom . However, these people have faced aversion by the public based
on the media. This negative appearance has forced the community of furries to rally behind Uncle
Kage , who may have negative intentions as well. The media that Uncle Kage releases to depict these
people is being controlled by him alone, with intent to keep an upstanding reputation. However, this
may have backfired and the group s extremists may have created a dichotomy between the average
and the over the top. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Although occasionally wearing $7000 anthropomorphic animal costumes, they can appear as average
citizens. Scenes from AnthroCon, a furry convention in Pittsburgh, are frequently shown. The way that
these people are rallying together to celebrate individuality and acceptance displays the major themes
of the group. However, these themes have been soiled by the media and views of the few. For
example, a specific member of the society, Boomer the Dog, has embarrassed the fandom more than
once. His legal attempt to officially change his name to Boomer the Dog and his appearances on Dr.
Phil are infamous for portraying furries as delusional and unacceptable. The way that Rodriguez uses
the interivews of these individuals is both interesting in a way that catches the attention of the
argument, as well as not being disrespectful and insensitive to the furry fandom. This techinique

However implementation of liquidity ratios illustrates that the short term debt paying ability of the

This is of particular interest to M S who may require financial aid to finance the renovation of its

recession will have on Tesco and M S respectively. Another indication of how efficient the companies

People Are Not Good At Heart Essay
People are not truly good at heart
In spite of everything I still believe that people are really good at heart. These words were spoken by
Anne Frank. She wrote these words in her diary in the attic of her father s business. She was hiding
from the Nazi s, and hid among several other people in a confined area. Anne thought that everyone
was truly good hearted. She sadly died in a concentration camp about a year later. The truth is people
are not good at heart. People are selfish, they are in charge of their actions so they know if something
is wrong or right, and there is too many horrible things in the world to outweigh all of the admirable
aspects of life. Nonetheless not everyone is good natured. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Good Leadership Characteristics Of Good Presidents
Good Leadership Characteristics of Good Presidents
For our presentation, we have decided the best theme to show the many traits of great leaders was to
show them in the Presidents of the United States. There were many different presidents who had
different qualities; some bad and some good. In our presentation, we will show you the president who
showed a specific trait in their actions. Most of the presidents who showed positive character traits
were are remembered in a good way. Many of the presidents with poor leadership traits became very
infamous.
Theodore Roosevelt Courage: The 26th president of the United States, Teddy Roosevelt, was a very
well liked president; mostly because of his personality. He was a hard worker and played many sports
including boxing, fishing, running, and mountain climbing. His childhood really influenced his
personality and character traits that they carried on to when he became the leading general at the
Battle of San Juan Hill in the Spanish American. He led what was known as The Rough Riders . His
impeccable courage guided the Americans to victory. Also, when he became president, he created the
Square Deal which helped the American get out the coal shortage slump. His courage to get
Americans through droughts and rough times shows that he can be a great leader. As Teddy Roosevelt
showed, courage can guide people to victory, as he did in the Battle of San Juan Hill.

and the trials that African American families faced. Hansberry s A Raisin in the Sun shows how the
Youngers American dream of being a middle class family was earned through finding their identity as
a family, battling housing discrimination, and capitalizing on opportunity, to depict the trial and
tribulations African Americans went through in Chicago in the 1950 s. At the beginning of the play A
Raisin in the Sun the main characters from the play all show that they have dreams for themselves and
all of them deal with how they identify to themselves. These dreams are, for Walter, to be perceived as
wealthy, for Beneatha to be independent, and for Mama to continue what her and her

Social Class Differences On The Long Run Essay
Income equality has been on a steady rise since 1970 in both the United States and Europe. Over the
past several years, many researchers, such as Thomas Piketty and Emmanuel Saez have been
conducting and publishing empirical studies which indicate that economic inequality is growing in
wealthy countries, like those in Europe and the United States. In fact, according to a graph published
in Piketty and Saez s study Inequality in the Long Run, both the United States and Europe s income
and wealth inequality generally decreased from 1900 1970, and then started increasing in the time
period after that. The results of this study suggest that social class differences may be growing in the
long run. This paper will examine this graph from the perspectives of both Adam Smith and Karl
Marx. Using Marx and Smith s findings in German Ideology and Wealth of Nations, this paper will
discuss Marx and Smith s main theories on capitalism and describe how these theories can be applied
to the interpretation of the graphs in the study Inequality in the Long Run. This paper will also discuss
the similarities and differences between Smith and Marx s interpretation of the data.
Smith s theory of capitalism, described in his book Wealth of Nations, discusses the ideas of the
division of labor, self interest, and the real value of products. According to Smith, the division of labor
arises from a human s ability to exchange goods. In the Wealth of Nations, Smith discusses how it is a

So the North Atlantic Treaty Organization was formed in 1949,US and twelve Western countries

them to defend each others. The founding members were US,Canada, Britain,Belgium, France,Italy

Lord Ismay, stated that the organization s aim was to keep the Russians out, the Americans in, and the

The solution of the problem came with the Schuman Plan. Presented in1950 by the French Foreign
Minister, It was about sharing European resources in a supranational union. on April 1951 the
European Coal and Steel Community (ECSC) was instituted. It combined coal and steel resources of
France, Italy, Germany, Belgium, Luxembourg and Netherlands, and it reduced the chance of war
betwwen France and West Germany. During the Paris Treaty, the six states stateded that this date
symbolized the birth of Europe. The ECSC became reality in 1952, and was the first step in relation to
European integration.
After the born of ECSC, others proposals were made to integrate european states. Therefore to better
defend the continent from Soviet aggressions, the United States was demanding to re arm West
Germany, but they found a strong opposition from the most of European countries, which were scared
of a re establishment of German army. In these circumstnces the French Prime Minister in 1952,
proposed to create an integrated European Army. The result was the European Defence Community,
which gathered together the military forces of West Germany, Italy, France and the Benelux cuontries.
This option was prefered more than the idea of Germany joining NATO. In 1952, a treaty was signed
by ECSC members but in 1954 the French National Assembly rejected it. After this, during the Paris

when we are using public cloud service provider.whether the confidential data kept on the central

Annene Frank And The Story Of Anne Frank
Books or stories affect people in different ways, many of them being happy because everyone lives
happily ever after. Very rarely do I get affected by books, and the Story of Anne Frank is one of them.
This poor Jewish girl, has to hide away with seven other people, three of them being her actual family
members. Mrs Vandaan was one of the many people living in that annex. In some way shape or form I
connected with this character on an emotional level. She showed me that there is more to life than
buying the most expensive clothing, and how to care for people. Just as she cared for her husband and
son. When Anne dropped milk on her fur coat, it showed me that I should forgive, even if it seems like
it could never be forgiven. Even if it was a coat from my father. Anne s life became the opposite of a
normal kids life, when she had to go into hiding. This I find cruel and unfair, she should be able to go
play outside and hang out with friends. Yet she can t, and it s all because of a religion. When she s in
this annex she is getting skinnier and skinnier by the day because they have so many people, and not a
surplus of food. This cruel, for this girl and her family to have to go through this. It makes me even
more upset because of my german heritage. World War 2 was caused because of Hitler and his desire
to make the perfect race. This meant getting rid of the Jews, why this group of people I don t know,
but it s still unfair. He thought that if you had blue eyes and

Legal, Safety, and Regulatory Requirements Paper
The workplace is a delicate environment filled with different personalities types. These differing needs
of feeling safe and comfortable create many challenges in the workplace. The creation of the Human
Resource Department has helped create a safety net for all employees to fall under and create a stable
environment for employees to feel safe and secure. Regulations such as Equal Employment
Opportunity Commission and the Department of Labor have in some ways removed the common

The United States Department of Labor (DOL) has a mission to protect the welfare of wage earners,
job seekers, and retirees. They also improve working conditions and ensure work related benefits and
rights. The DOL has many laws and reregulation s protecting workers that range from the Fair Labor
Standards Act, which sets standards for wages and overtime pay, to the Occupational Safety and
Health Act, which focuses on workplace safety and health. With the wide range that the DOL has
employees can feel that they have standards in place to ensure fair pay, fair treatment, and a safe
environment to work in. Without the enforcement of the DOL corporations are left to establish pay
and safety standards internally. In a business atmosphere where the importance of profit is often
placed before the employees, an environment without laws and regulations can be dangerous. An
example can be seen in other countries where labor laws are not in place compassion and common
sense also seem to be absent. In these areas workers, many times children often works long hours for
little pay. Sadly it has been shown that when corporations are unregulated the importance for the fair
treatment of employees takes a less important role. The faith in corporate America has been somewhat
fragile with the knowledge of many corporate wrongdoings like the Enron scandal, recent financial
buyout, and the ethical issues with bonuses for executives. Dipankar (2008) has a theory that

Story Of Elijah s God
Elijah s God was Elisha s God! God utilized Elisha as His prophet for about fifty years.
Elisha died but his influence remained in a number of ways. God s power was shown when a dead
man s body was tossed into the grave of Elisha and came in contact with Elisha s bones. The dead man
was revived and jumped to his feet. The miracle showed Israel once more that if they would have not
rejected the words Elisha spoke on behalf of God, God would have been extremely gracious and
merciful to His people.
Elijah was a very hated man in the Ahab family. He had great courage and boldness to always be
willing to be the messenger of horrendous news to Ahab s family. For many years, Ahab and Jezebel

Jezebel of the northern kingdom of Israel. She also was the wife of King Jehoram of Judah, and the

Nonexistence of Women, all of these authors investigate people as beings that are fundamentally

This author has had a particular focus on women in politics and how slaves were included in this
social structure during this time period making an effort to convey that all men are born equal and free
as her views were very radical during this time. In comparison to Martineau, Emile Durkheim
emphasizes that the division of labor is a key attribute to the social structure of society as the general
population continues to grow, people will naturally become more disciplined in specialized
professions that will ultimately create institutions as all of these specializations will work together to
benefit society. However, Durkheim does agree with Martineau to the extent that power is diffused
throughout society and ultimately belongs to the government. As government holds the ultimate
authority, punishment will be defined as a reaction as to what has violated laws that have been
instituted in order to maintain standards of moral order. Additionally, Berger and Luckmann make it
clear that it is because people are social beings, people create a society the more we interact with one
another as [man s] relationship to the surrounding environment is everywhere...structured by his own
biological constitution that people attach what they know to be the physical world and build structural
concepts that constitute our society. (Berger and Luckmann, 47.) All address to some degree, that the

The Death Of The Ball Turret Gunner Analysis
War Does Evil
A Discussion of Three Messages From Randall Jarrell s Gunner There was not a point in this world s
history when war was more prevalent, than that of World War Two. During this time, millions of
innocent lives were slain, and millions of soldiers died fighting, but were replaced almost instantly.
War completely manipulates the human mind, allowing it to commit actions no mind would ever think
to conceive otherwise. War takes over the will of humanity, and brings out the ferocity that all humans
have boiled down inside them. For example, journalist Roy Bing Chan recites, On one hand, war s
violence gives witness to a world consuming itself as it lurches ever more closely to oblivion... As
Chan states, war allows the world to cave in and consume itself, and each day of fighting leads closer
to oblivion. The short story The Death of the Ball Turret Gunner by Randall Jarrell is a perfect
representation of the monstrosity called war. Jarrell was an influential and gifted writer who lived
during WWII. One of his most famous pieces of writing, Gunner, lurched the hearts of countless
people around the country as they were able to get a brief feeling of what it meant to be an aircraft
gunner during this time. Within this minute work of literature, are deep meanings waiting to be
discovered. Within Randall Jarrell s Gunner, there are three messages that can be derived. Within
Gunner, it is obvious that war was very unpleasant for the people fighting it. In the

Warhol And The Pop Art Movement
Andy Warhol being not simply a Pop artist, but an American artist who was known as the master of
Pop Art, and about two of Warhol s most famous paintings; Coca Cola and Campbell s Soup Cans.
Andy Warhol was an artist and filmmaker, an initiator for the Pop Art movement in the 1960s. Warhol
used mass production techniques to elevate art into the supposed unoriginality of the commercial
culture of the United States. Warhol s early drawings frequently recalls the Anglo Saxon tradition of
nonsense humor, a characteristically childlike exuberance, and the fact that Warhol was successfully
earning a living in the advertising industry at the time was sufficient for many to dismiss his entire
artistic output during this period as commercial art . Fifty years ago, Pop art captured the spirit of
Warhol s young art, but that basic structure has been (to most people) a revealing profitless movement
for years. Pop art was a 1960s movement that focused on everyday objects, comic books and mediated
images now seems quaint and playful, but not Warhol. In the first part of Andy Warhol s career he was
an iconoclast, in the second, the artist as businessman. In 1960 Warhol s graphic works underwent a
fundamental change in terms of subject matter, accompanied at about the same time by a change in
technique. Warhol s graphic work covers areas not normally associated with the art of the twentieth
century, and which might even be considered unique. In Andy Warhol s paintings and prints of

How Does Coal Ash Affect The Environment

Coal is a dirty industry from beginning to end, but until recently the public knew very little of how the
coal cycle ends with millions of tons of toxic coal ash waste produced each year. Coal ash can cause
many health problems for people who are exposed to it, and it can also damage our environment. The
EPA has been very lenient with coal ash reuse and storage, and due to that leniency, many
communities were and still are being negatively affected. Coal ash is not only negatively affecting
North Carolina and the United States, it s negatively affecting Earth in general. Coal ash is a global
problem, and the EPA should be more strict with companies that reuse or store coal ash. As we deal
with decades of coal ash waste, ultimately, we must stop burning coal to make power and find better
ways to efficiently create electricity without making global warming worse. ... Show more content on

cause many health problems. Even the EPA stated that If the coal ash was deposited in an unlined

  • 2. The Protocol Of Operations Of Bank Solutions Essay Abstract After the assessment and audit carried out on the protocol of operations of Bank Solutions, we identified uncontrolled access to event logs as one of the biggest security threat factor the institution is currently faced with. It goes without saying that as a result of this phenomenon, the institution s information is at a great risk of alteration and even access by external entities. As a result, consumer protection is far from being guaranteed, as well as privacy policy being highly compromised. For this particular security gap, logical access control and administrative privilege management needs to be implemented in order to deal with this uncertainty of information security. While doing so he illustrates the idea that children were seen as expendable. The poem tells the story of a young boy cutting firewood with a chainsaw in the evening. The world still contains little empathy, or sympathy. This does not mean that all people feel this way, but little has changed since 1916. One positive fact to note is that because of child labor laws the events of this poem can remain only in poems and stories, and out of the news, at least in the United States and other first world nations. However, in terms of adults caring for each other little has changed, people still do little to help others. Not everyone is this way though, and the world would be a better place if others would follow in their footsteps. For example, rather than shaming the poor people could help them get jobs, or instead of laughing at people s problems they could help each other get through them. He elaborates, I had just come back from New York after shooting the film New York and Irrfan called me and said there s a film called Paan Singh Tomar. I hadn t ever heard about him at the time. I had heard of Milkha Singh and other famous athletes and Phoolan Devi, Man Singh and other notorious bandits but not Paan Singh Tomar. Irrfan said there is a film, my friend is directing it, and he asked me to shoot it because of the way I shot Bhanwar (television docudrama). He really liked the look in the series. Bhanwar was how I met Irrfan as he had come to Delhi to shoot one of the episodes. So I met Tigmanshu and he gave me the script. The moment I read it I felt this was my kind of script. I liked it a lot. I liked the movie Bandit Queen the way it was handled, the way it was shot, the consistency of the film/cinematography. Not that it influences or impacts my work, but I connected to the landscape it s pretty wild. You need to shoot that kind of landscape on Panavision because that s how it makes you feel. It has lots of details, textures that, to me, are very important. • 14. Misconceptions In The Film Fursona Dominic Rodriguez s Fursona , a 2016 film, documents the misconceptions faced by Americans who believe in the furry lifestyle. A group of people who dress in elaborate animal costumes as a means of typically light hearted leisure would mostly consider themselves to be furries. Each furry develops a fursona , a play on persona and the documentray s namesake, and the members have coolectively named their following The Fandom . However, these people have faced aversion by the public based on the media. This negative appearance has forced the community of furries to rally behind Uncle Kage , who may have negative intentions as well. The media that Uncle Kage releases to depict these people is being controlled by him alone, with intent to keep an upstanding reputation. However, this may have backfired and the group s extremists may have created a dichotomy between the average and the over the top. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Comparing Emile Durkheim s The Division Of Labor In comparing Emile Durkheim s The Division of Labor in Society and readings from the The Rules of Sociological Method to Peter Berger and Thomas Luckmann s The Social Construction of Reality in addition to Harriet Martineaus Morals and Manners, Morals of Slavery, and The Political Nonexistence of Women, all of these authors investigate people as beings that are fundamentally social that create the basis for society. Even though their perspectives have similar components when it comes to fundamentally key ideas, they still tend to take different stances on viewing the individuals involved in the process from micro and macro perspectives in order to understand the correlation between the individual interacting with society s institutions ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... This author has had a particular focus on women in politics and how slaves were included in this social structure during this time period making an effort to convey that all men are born equal and free as her views were very radical during this time. In comparison to Martineau, Emile Durkheim emphasizes that the division of labor is a key attribute to the social structure of society as the general population continues to grow, people will naturally become more disciplined in specialized professions that will ultimately create institutions as all of these specializations will work together to benefit society. However, Durkheim does agree with Martineau to the extent that power is diffused throughout society and ultimately belongs to the government. As government holds the ultimate authority, punishment will be defined as a reaction as to what has violated laws that have been instituted in order to maintain standards of moral order. Additionally, Berger and Luckmann make it clear that it is because people are social beings, people create a society the more we interact with one another as [man s] relationship to the surrounding environment is everywhere...structured by his own biological constitution that people attach what they know to be the physical world and build structural concepts that constitute our society. The Death Of The Ball Turret Gunner Analysis War Does Evil A Discussion of Three Messages From Randall Jarrell s Gunner There was not a point in this world s history when war was more prevalent, than that of World War Two. During this time, millions of innocent lives were slain, and millions of soldiers died fighting, but were replaced almost instantly. War completely manipulates the human mind, allowing it to commit actions no mind would ever think to conceive otherwise. War takes over the will of humanity, and brings out the ferocity that all humans have boiled down inside them. For example, journalist Roy Bing Chan recites, On one hand, war s violence gives witness to a world consuming itself as it lurches ever more closely to oblivion... • 35. Warhol And The Pop Art Movement Andy Warhol being not simply a Pop artist, but an American artist who was known as the master of Pop Art, and about two of Warhol s most famous paintings; Coca Cola and Campbell s Soup Cans. Andy Warhol was an artist and filmmaker, an initiator for the Pop Art movement in the 1960s. Warhol used mass production techniques to elevate art into the supposed unoriginality of the commercial culture of the United States. Warhol s early drawings frequently recalls the Anglo Saxon tradition of nonsense humor, a characteristically childlike exuberance, and the fact that Warhol was successfully earning a living in the advertising industry at the time was sufficient for many to dismiss his entire artistic output during this period as commercial art . Fifty years ago, Pop art captured the spirit of Warhol s young art, but that basic structure has been (to most people) a revealing profitless movement for years. Pop art was a 1960s movement that focused on everyday objects, comic books and mediated images now seems quaint and playful, but not Warhol. In the first part of Andy Warhol s career he was an iconoclast, in the second, the artist as businessman. In 1960 Warhol s graphic works underwent a fundamental change in terms of subject matter, accompanied at about the same time by a change in technique. Warhol s graphic work covers areas not normally associated with the art of the twentieth century, and which might even be considered unique. In Andy Warhol s paintings and prints of ...
