Within this philosophy of religion, the theory concerning the attributes of God, in Unification Thought, is called the Theory of the Original Image. The original Image refers to the attributes of God, the causal being. These attributes consist of form and function including nature, character, ability, creativity and virtues. Within this framework the idea of Logos is explored.
The attributes of God are expressed in various ways by various religions. Unification Thought examines God’s character and attributes as The Divine Character and The Divine Image. These form as the Original Image, the hallmarks of God’s traits. In this, the first presentation of three, a ground of being is established by examining the fundamental properties of creator and created. It is from this first proposition that a ‘theory of resemblance’ can also be formed where humankind might come to resemble the nature of the creator and by doing so, sustain the virtues evident throughout such a cosmology.
Friedrich Schiller suggested that a culture in chaos cannot perceive principles. By examining the nature of the creator as a ground of being, self can then be viewed as an authentic or true self holding to innate properties and virtues; it is these qualities which affirm principles. From these universal qualities and creative and cultural dynamics, Schiller’s question can then be answered. Principles placed on the ground and rooted in harmony are examined in this presentation. It is only through a correct and full understanding of the Divine Image, as well as the Divine Character, will we be able to fundamentally solve the problems of human life, society, history, and the world. This presentation is followed by Ontology and The Theory of The Original Image, which together present a clear picture of a ground, of being and healthy cultural expressions. The other two presentations can be found here, on site. NB the presentation is supported by a text available from the link on the third slide

In this section of Unification Thought a theory of art is considered. Culture defines the totality of human activities and Art is placed at the center of these cultural activities as the essence of such proceedings. However, the theory of art also reveals concerns over tendencies towards decadent expressions of what might otherwise be ideals; these serving humanity in a positive, ethical and affirmative way. World culture may therefore face a serious crises if this negative tendency persists. Accordingly, it is reasoned, a new culture and a true art movement might be both advantageous and relevant for our times.
Through human history the arts have frequently played a leading role in bringing about change. The Renaissance period is a clear example of this, where the arts heralded a systemic change in this cultural epoch. Yet, art supplied a more questionable contribution to the Russian Revolution, thus in the revolutionary period the arts formed as a style known as Social Realism. This throws in to question, what the term art, might mean. For the most part, Social Realism became the instrument of a materialistic dialectic, serving the state rather than a principle of inspirational and autonomous creativity.
The function and the purpose of the arts are therefore examined here in this light and a counterproposal to social realism is presented. Believing the future will more and more, move towards a profound and universal expression of the arts, it is more pressing than ever to present a new theory of art from the viewpoint of transcendent and immanent perspectives; something Unification Thought suggests, belongs to a philosophy of religion rather than a state orchestrated doctrine.

The theory of original nature (Unification Thought) / The nature of the true ...derek dey
The Theory of Original Human Nature is traditionally related to categories of being and in many cases to Metaphysics. Throughout history many have examined human nature as questions of existence and secondly, as the problems of relationship. Buddha, Christ, Socrates, Descartes, Kant, Hegel, Kierkegaard and many others, have undertaken such tasks. Today there are also animated discussions lying along the lines of psychological self-actualization proposals and attachment theories. Of late therefore, psychological proponents have added to the groundswell of thinking, issues concerning existence, being, and the relational field. It is notable that transpersonal psychologies, for example, frequently touch upon theories of a true self mentioned frequently within the disciplines' catalogue. The Theory of Original Being, here proposed by Sang Hun Lee, nevertheless, focuses on this topic more exclusively from the field of religious philosophy.
Rather than posit purely philosophical arguments, The Theory of Original Nature is metaphysical in its dimensions, yet pragmatic in its approach. The self as a fulcrum of consciousness is therefore proposed as a matrix of conscious expressions, events and behaviors. The Theory of Original Nature thus extends from a theoretical proposition to forms of broad creativity concretely expressed by an authentic self, in the arts, sciences, philosophy, ethics and social morality. The first principle to be established belongs to the ethical structures of the self. The second belongs to virtuous behaviors expressed in the social political and cultural fields. The examination of self and beingness, is therefore supremely important
This true self is tied organically to the natural world, the human landscape in general and to the democratic world within principles of natural law; the rights of man being extrapolated from innate states and metaphysical postulates. Systems theories including the psyche and constitutions are organic by nature, either functioning authentically by natural law or conflated by the dysfunctional self and proliferated as theories and practices of a dystopian dimension. It is therefore important to come to terms with achievable states of optimum health at all levels. Essential to this proposition is that self and other systems, be it family, social or political, be marked throughout by, ‘concern-consciousness,’ a theory whereby everything matters. Lying close to the Theory of the Original Image (Logos) and Ontology, this hypothesis is extracted from Logos viewed as a general creative proposition. This theory of Original nature is therefore tied to a philosophy of Monism and to a grand theory of unification, a systems theory well worth considering in the light of today’s confusion. At the end of this section, some existentialists are reconsidered from the perspective of the work.

This is a very short introduction of cryptography system. It also explains that, without protocols, cryptographic algorithm is useless and ineffective.
Ontology is predicated to the creative principle of Logos. It defines self as a mirror image of the heart of Logos. Ontology is therefore a theory of resemblance. The first six slides are by way of introduction. The sixth is a revision of Logos. I have included a very brief review of psychological proposals such as the Imago Dei and the Jungian, Christ archetype, which are particularly relevant to Ontology. Following from that, models or proposals of a true self made by James Hillman, Michael Fordham, Donald Winnicott and George Hagman, etc, are likewise pertinent to the subject. However from slide seven the presentation follows the text of Unification Thought. A link to the text can be found on slide four. Much of Ontology is expressed as systems theory so self and community are compared to general systems thinking. Work in paleopsychology, Ken Wilber's AQAL model of the self (see an adaption on slide 15) and work done by Niklas Luhmann on social systems and communication, also address the field of Ontology. A fuller presentation embracing a wide field of inter-disciplinary work will soon be available.

Slide 1: Overview of my artifacts
I will be working on the theme of beliefs. I will be looking into some past religious artifacts such as the classical art pieces of Jesus, Moses, etc. I will explain what the artworks mean to me and I will also allow the audience to give their interpretation of what I am showing. I will be able to portray the theme of religion, beliefs, and time by comparing the different pieces.
Slide 2: Theme’s Impact on my audience
I believe that as people grow up from birth, they do not have much power in the religion they would like to associate with. Parents have become the sole determinants of where our faith and religion lie and I would like to allow my audience to think through the choices that were made for them. I believe that this presentation will help my audience ponder and see whether they will still choose the religion and beliefs they grew up knowing. For instance, some of the audience members may have been brought up with the notion that there is only one God, a supernatural being, yet they probably doubt it and they would choose to be atheists in their adulthood.
Slide 3: Evidence
I grew up in a very strict family and my parents forced me to go to church every other Sunday. I never liked church because I felt like I lived a fake life. Besides, I noticed that most church members were not staunch and some did some actions that were against the church teachings. However, my mother could not hear it and I only got the freedom to do as I chose after I got my ID. Typically, my religion was forced and I am so glad that I am in a better situation now although my past experiences make me question my life choices from time to time.
Slide 4: Importance of my theme and artifacts
I chose this theme because I like exploring the past Roman culture and I also grew up as a Christian. I feel like this project provides a chance to explore the similarities between the two. Just like the languages that have the same roots, I think that religions are also tied and this research will help demonstrate this. My audience and I will get a chance to be open-minded and not just think within the religious confinements.
Slide 5: Benefit of studying Humanities
Humanities is a means for people to be open-minded about different things such as cultures, religions, etc., and helps us comprehend what sets us apart from other people. Personally, taking this course has helped me identify different artifacts and it has given me different perspectives on things.
Slide 6: Importance to society
One of the greatest benefits of studying humanities is learning how to express compassion. Compassion is wide and having it since childhood would help us appreciate and respect everyone's religion. Besides, our parents would not force religion on us but rather, children would have the freedom to choose where they truly belong. I believe that humanities teach ...

June 3, 2024 Anti-Semitism Letter Sent to MIT President Kornbluth and MIT Cor...Levi Shapiro
Letter from the Congress of the United States regarding Anti-Semitism sent June 3rd to MIT President Sally Kornbluth, MIT Corp Chair, Mark Gorenberg
Dear Dr. Kornbluth and Mr. Gorenberg,
The US House of Representatives is deeply concerned by ongoing and pervasive acts of antisemitic
harassment and intimidation at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Failing to act decisively to ensure a safe learning environment for all students would be a grave dereliction of your responsibilities as President of MIT and Chair of the MIT Corporation.
This Congress will not stand idly by and allow an environment hostile to Jewish students to persist. The House believes that your institution is in violation of Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, and the inability or
unwillingness to rectify this violation through action requires accountability.
Postsecondary education is a unique opportunity for students to learn and have their ideas and beliefs challenged. However, universities receiving hundreds of millions of federal funds annually have denied
students that opportunity and have been hijacked to become venues for the promotion of terrorism, antisemitic harassment and intimidation, unlawful encampments, and in some cases, assaults and riots.
The House of Representatives will not countenance the use of federal funds to indoctrinate students into hateful, antisemitic, anti-American supporters of terrorism. Investigations into campus antisemitism by the Committee on Education and the Workforce and the Committee on Ways and Means have been expanded into a Congress-wide probe across all relevant jurisdictions to address this national crisis. The undersigned Committees will conduct oversight into the use of federal funds at MIT and its learning environment under authorities granted to each Committee.
• The Committee on Education and the Workforce has been investigating your institution since December 7, 2023. The Committee has broad jurisdiction over postsecondary education, including its compliance with Title VI of the Civil Rights Act, campus safety concerns over disruptions to the learning environment, and the awarding of federal student aid under the Higher Education Act.
• The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is investigating the sources of funding and other support flowing to groups espousing pro-Hamas propaganda and engaged in antisemitic harassment and intimidation of students. The Committee on Oversight and Accountability is the principal oversight committee of the US House of Representatives and has broad authority to investigate “any matter” at “any time” under House Rule X.
• The Committee on Ways and Means has been investigating several universities since November 15, 2023, when the Committee held a hearing entitled From Ivory Towers to Dark Corners: Investigating the Nexus Between Antisemitism, Tax-Exempt Universities, and Terror Financing. The Committee followed the hearing with letters to those institutions on January 10, 202
