Abstract
The “Online Examination System” has been
developed to override the problems prevailing in the practicing
manual system. The main objective of this web based online
examination system is to efficiently evaluate the student through
a fully automated system that not only saves lot of time but also
gives fast and accurate results. Student can enter to perform exam
only with their valid username and password.
Scope
Scope of this project is very broad in terms of other manually taking exams.
Few of them are:-
 This can used in educational institutions like school, college and institutions to
conduct logic test of their students on regular basis.
 Can be used anywhere anytime as it is web based application.
 Responses or the answers by the candidates can be checked automatically and
instantly.

Disadvantages
 Problem of going to exam centre..
 Manipulation of student record is difficult for examiners.
 Problem of sending question paper from one place to another place.
 And have the problem of leaking the paper before examination.
 Time consuming for creating question paper.
 Calculation of marks.
 Limitation of number of students can give examination at a time.
 Require teacher to monitor exam centre.
Proposed System
To overcome the drawbacks of existing system, the proposed
system is evolved. This project aims to reduce paper work and saving time
for to generate accurate results.
