6. WHY ONLINE EXAM?
 It can be conducted for remote candidates and
the evaluation of answers can be fully
automated for MCQ questions and other essay
type questions can be evaluated manually or
through automated system.
 Online examinations can be conducted at any
time and does not incur higher cost as traditional
exam scenario as there is no paper work
involved.

 The Online Examination System is a web based
application.
 The system suits the need of Educational
Institutions, Primary and Secondary Schools,
Colleges, Universities and Training Academies
 The system aims at reducing costs associated
with conducting exams and achieving total
automation of examination system-related tasks
like registration, publication of results, which
leads to a very high degree of system efficiency.

Main Objective behind this Project is to MAKE THE
PROCESS OF CONDUCTING AN EXAMINATION EASIER
 The main problem that exists in the manual system is the conducting
a exam at the same time of the specified duration at different places
and collecting them at one place for evaluation , and then arranging
them, and declaring result, which is quite time consuming and
cumbersome process in itself.
 Through Online Exam We can save the time expending between
Paper and Result. The main idea behind developing this project is to
provide fast way of conducting exam through internet. Through the
help of this project , a person can register free and take test for
checking his ability.

9. FEATURES OF
ONLINE EXAMINATION
 TIME SAVING: This Software also helps in saving time between the Exams
and Results . Through this software the user can find his/her report card
just after completing the exam.
 FACILITY OF CHECKING PROPER ANSWER AFTER GETTING THE RESULTS:
This software also provides the facility to Check the Proper Answer after
getting the Results . This will help students check their status.
 A TIME LIMIT FOR PAPER: This software has a facility of restricting each
Paper to a given amount of Time. A Timer is also displayed on the screen
Through this type OF management all students will be getting equal time
which was decided by administrator for that particular Paper.

 Current system provides only multiple choices but single
correct answer selection.
 Incase questions and answers need to be in graphics,
current system has no provision.
 Unregistered users can only access the home page not any
thing else.
 Student only can Check their result by the help of Admin.
