This document discusses the development of an online examination software. The software would allow exams to be conducted across multiple cities and centers on different dates and times. Only a limited number of examinees can take the exam at once. The administrator can create, modify and delete exam papers. Some issues with existing paper-based systems include lack of space, difficult filtering and slow result processing. The new online system aims to save time, not require waiting for results, and generate results automatically. It would use .NET framework, Windows OS, and a database like DB2. A feasibility study found the system would have lower costs, effort, time and labor needs than existing paper systems.
