Directly manage the claims department with eight direct reports. Responsibilities include
managing, coaching, and evaluating performance of staff. Prepare complete and accurate annual
Stewardship report to the client as well as additional various reports to outside auditors at the
request of the client. Maintain administrative and personnel records. Prepare annualdepartment
budget as well as mid-year and annual performance reviews of staff. Negotiate renewalof multi-

on the annual claim audit conducted at the request of the client since 2008. Remain updated of
statutory changes, case law development and trends in disability management and cost
containment. Responsible for coordinating all reinsurance reporting. Conducted multiple
seminars and webinars on matters of workers’ compensation and FMLA to municipal
management including a workshop at the 2011 Massachusetts Municipal Association Annual
Tradeshow and keynote speaker at the 2014 MASBO Law Institute. Authored multiple articles in
the Beacon and as well as MASBO newsletter. Actively involved in the defense of two claims
litigated before the Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court in 2010. Currently enrolled in the Aon
Advance Leadership Development developed and presented by Harvard University faculty.
