 Accept, modify or rejects risks based on a review of business in terms of loss experience, inspection
reports, file information, web resources, policyholder tenure, related policies, and nature of risk in
accordance with company guidelines, standards and compliance with state laws.

 Trainer and mentor for team members and new hires providing company guidelines, carrier
guidelines and system training.
 Provide monthly status reports to my mangager to show what has been quoted, declined, bound and
renewed for the month.
 Responsible for underwriting and servicing of multiple product lines simultaneously.
 Analyze submissions to ensure proper rating, coverages and exclusions are in place to best cover the
risk and the insured’s interest while ensuring carrier exposure is at a minimum.
 Use approved classification systems, rating plans, and selection standards to determine eligibility,
desirability and proper classification/pricing.
 Experienced with Commercial Auto, General Liability, Workers Compensation, Umbrella, Property,
Professional, Religious and Inland Marine coverages.
 Review of multiple third party resources to ensure proper classification, rating, and company
exposure is at a minimum.
 Service and review accounts throughout the policy term paying close attention to loss ratios,
endorsement changes, additional interests, and property changes.
 Ensure there are proper controls in place on all policy types (i.e. loss control procedures or vehicle
maintenance procedures review, property maintenance).
 Ensure that US Assure is always compliant with all federal, state and carrier procedures, required for
all transaction types. (i.e. issuance, cancelations and non-renewals).
 Review all endorsement requests that are sent in to ensure alignment with the type of policy and
coverage we insure.
 Provides technical assistance to internal and external customers regarding coverage interpretations,
policy endorsement provisions, and underwriting acceptability for specialty area coverages.
 Work with admitted and non-admitted paper providing experience with Surplus and non -surplus
lines policies.
 Analyze modeling results to support underwriting decisions.
 Use knowledge and independent judgment to determine eligibility of risks.
 Developed effective working relationship with regional sales managers, agents, Sr. management,

 Developed and maintained airline reporting on a weekly basis, for management of commission
information, payment information, volume of tickets sold for each airline, and total gross sales.
