- 1. New Ideas for Filming
- 2. Why the idea has changed I have changed from my initial idea for the music video for many reasons. However, the main reason is because I went out filming for the music video for two days and got a lot of footage that I believed to be at a good standard. However, since I started to try and edit some of these clips together, I found that many of the clips didn’t really go well together and there was no clear storyline and some of the shots look boring. I asked many people for their opinion as I put together roughly a 1minute clip of all of the footage edited together, and the general feedback I was getting is that it didn’t look like a stereotypical music video in the dance genre, and it was quite hard to see if there was a clear narrative on the video.

What am I doing to change this I have changed the storyline however I will show this through a storyboard, however, the main difference will be that the main focus of the video is now on the girl. I am going to go out and film again with the characters in my music video in order to hopefully get some more of the shots that I am happy with. I am also deciding to go to more unique locations and also some more colourful locations such as God’s Own Junkyard and the Southbank Skate Park. Hopefully this will make my music video look more interesting and more like a music video. I am going to make this footage more easy for anyone in the 16-25 age range to be able to relate to.
